With so many ready to criticize and complain so quickly, and so few prepared to acknowledge tremendous work and quality service, I’d like to post this for Active Air Inc.I was facing a troubling situation a few days ago, where not only was the water heater not functioning properly, but the furnace also. This was tough, facing the weather this week, having children and knowing the essential needs of a household that requires heat and hot water.This is when Active Air Inc. came into my world and I’m thankful for it. Within hours of the issue being reported to the company, tradesman and company representative Zack arrived. He quickly assessed what the issues were and then provided a number of options that were explained clearly and left no doubt in my mind what could be done to resolve this quickly and relatively inexpensively. In my mind, I had created a much worse scenario, as it relates to the time span having no heat and water and overall costs.The strategy to remedy my problem was agreed-upon. The next morning, Zack and a colleague arrived, on-time, and got straight to work. There was a substantial amount of work completed and completed well and promptly. By the early afternoon, I had new equipment, installed professionally and with care, and had hot water and plenty of heat.I can state that working with this company was a joy. I’m thankful Zack was the individual assigned to this project, because he brought confidence, quality customer service and professionalism with a friendly demeanour.I will critique when that is required, but I will always compliment those who deserve it. Dan’s the man when it comes to thick, wavy Asian hair! It’s a struggle to find a stylist who understands the texture and unique needs of my hair, but Dan always exceeds all my expectations. He takes the time to listen and explains what cuts are the most flattering, what works best for my hair type, suggests colours that match my skin undertone etc. and works with such precision and care.
Not only is he incredibly talented, he has such a warm and friendly personality and makes the entire experience so great. I’ve gone to him a bunch of times now and will keep going back. The salon is also in a good location, always easy parking. Highly recommend!!! :)

I met one of the owners through work (Erik) and after several conversations I finally decided to check it out! (More me just being lazy) My experience was awesome. Would have to say one of the best experiences to date from start to finish. Ahmed was the barber who did an awesome job with my cut and beard trim. The time taken for the cut, the trim, to the straight razor shave with the refreshing warm towel on your face, to the massage after. Top notch!!

I severely damaged my hair about 10 months ago from leaving bleach on too long, and my hair sort of broke off into a mullet shape which looked super bad, the wonderful lady who did my hair was able to cut off all the fried parts while still keeping my hair below chin length and I’ve never been more pleased, make sure to try this place out they know what they’re doing! Yesterday I stopped by the salon for a quick tan and met Ella for the first time. Ella was so nice and helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure I have an amazing tanning experience. I really appreciate how clean and tidy everything in the salon was and how she reviewed the specials currently available. From her warm welcome to friendly goodbye I was really impressed with her amazing service and attention to detail.
Beds are nice and modern, the standing bed reeeaally tans! I almost didn’t come back here after my very first time when the girl working was so unpleasant, unhelpful and rude, but luckily I gave it another try and was fortunate enough to never see her again. From then on I’ve always seen the same lady which I assume to be the manager and she is always nice, warm and pleasant. This is a good, comfortable place to tan and it’s conveniently located with parking available. Prices seem average, and they offer good minute packages.

I came here because my cuticles were in need of TLC. I had a delightful experience with Laura who did my quickie mani/pedi. The vibes were immaculate - clean, bright, welcoming, relaxing. I was able to find parking a short walk away (& it’s free on Sundays - bonus!). Laura was very gentle and was able to hold lovely conversation while also leaving room for comfortable silence. There was a great cooking show on TV and chill music playing in the background. Overall the perfect experience and I will definitely return :)
I had questions about biogel nails, and it's affects on nails. The staff were able to answer my questions and give me a recommendation based on what mattered to me. They did a wonderful job with the pedicure and manicure.
I was very satisfied with my shellac manicure and pedicure at Mei's Nails! I waited a few weeks before posting to see how the shellac would hold up and 3 weeks later it is still flawless! I have been to other salons and it chipped or peeled after only 1 week, so I am certainly going to be returning to Mei's.
The staff were very friendly and did an extremely thorough job.
The only downside was the smell of chemicals was a bit stronger than other salons I've been to.
I'd recommend Mei's.

Went for a manicure as a walk in, the staff was accommodating, I loved my experience here. The nail tech did a beautiful job, she was patient and thorough. I would come back and recommend trying this place if you haven’t already. It can get busy, maybe call ahead to avoid waiting. In my opinion it would still be worth the wait even if there’s a queue. :)

These are the best pedicures I have ever gotten. The store is clean with nice comfy chairs, and the mother/daughter team is very welcoming always offering to take my coat, help me with my bag or grab my tea for me. Lily goes above and beyond, really helping with cracked skin and toes that take a lot of abuse from running. I really can't recommend them enough!

Had my hair colored by Alyssa. Had an amazing experience at the salon, right from the start with my first consultation with Jess. Everyone is extremely experienced and knowledge and very friendly. I had a lot of questions for them and they were very patient. The salon is nice and neat. It was a true luxury experience. I have thicker hair and Alyssa took her time with styling it. I find a lot of salons just end up leaving my hair blow dried which gives a “poofy” look especially after a fresh wash. But Alyssa took her time and curled my hair afterwards.

Angela is professional, friendly, helpful, humorous, artistic and talented. She offers many Esthetic procedures that are up to code with cleanliness and sanitation. Excellent clinic and amazing staff. Went in to treat my acne and dull skin and Dr Tukmachi was more than knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions and suggest a treatment plan. Had the CO2 laser done and the results so far are beyond what I expected. I highly recommend this clinic. Will be coming back for subsequent CO2 sessions to complete the treatment.

I was very pleasantly surprised as she charged the same price that other salons are charging for bio gel nails using an inferior bio gel that chips easily & is brutal to the health of your nails. Leanne uses superior products AND never uses the same Emory board or buffer - in fact, she gives you the ones that she uses on your nails. The spa is clean & quiet which is exactly what you want in a spa. I’m looking forward to having a massage soon! Leanne’s spa is a little gem!????Update ???? The only artist worth going to in this studio is Kallen. If you are looking at black and grey realism, I would only recommend Kallen from this studio. I'm starting out a leg sleeve and this is already the first session result. His work is insane for his experience, and he really takes his 100% effort to achieve his realism quality. This is what realism is supposed to look like, not some rushed work that only takes a 1-2 hours. If you're looking at this studio or any other black&grey artist in Hamilton, you're best bet is with Kallen.

The tattoo I got is my dad’s hand writing from a card he gave me before he passed away, and it looks so good, just like his hand writing. JTP had the most reasonable service call fee and were able to provide same day service while other companies could not. The time to repair was about 5 hours to replace a cartridge and pipe aged 30 years costing $1300. Would recommend JTP with confidence.

The best pluming team! We had Cam and Damian add a new bathroom in our 1950s house and they overcame all the challenges that existed in our old house. We added two new kitchens, updated two bathrooms and added a new one. They updated all the house’s pluming system according to code. We met couple of plumbers and they ghosted us as the job was huge but Infiniti pluming were really above expectations. They are professional and they always found a solution out of any concern we had. Their prices are fair too and they stuck to their estimates (although extra work was done through the process) and did not add to their initial price. They are great for small and huge jobs! Every time we flushed the toilet upstairs the downstairs kitchen sink would gurgle. I figured out it was the air vent so I got up on the roof with a large snake to (hopefully} clear it. Things did not go as planned. I managed to get the plug or whatever was blocking it to fall down the pipe a ways but when I flushed to check the gurgle the sink now filled up with dirty water. I tried snaking the kitchen sink about five times but wasn't getting anywhere. This was at about 4:30 p.m. On a Friday afternoon I had Rescue Rooter to the house a few years back when I had a blockage and it did a great job so I called them again. They were completely booked but after hearing my story the friendly receptionist said somebody would be there in a couple of hours. In under an hour, Steve showed up, and I did my best to explain to him what had got us to this point. Steve smiled and let me go on, and on, but finally said something like, yeah but, you did call us to do a job right? He got right to it and Steve´s great personality and sense of humor was a joy even under the stressful circumstances.
He was done in under a couple of hours did a great cleanup, and explained how the bypass worked that he installed under the kitchen sink in order to get the snake into the line where it needed to be. That's one heck of a snake you got there buddy and I don't say that just anyone. It was clear I could never have cleared the line, given the size of my little snake. Steve Saved the Day and made a bad situation so much better. Rescue Router must be doing something right to have such great and friendly professionals! Steve saved the day, I totally recommend them.

Just recently visited here because I broke my only car key in half. I was expecting much more of a hassle considering the condition of the key but to my elated surprise, Fred was able to cut me an un-chipped key that worked until I can afford a chipped one. The owners April and Kevin are very professional as well as provide excellent customer service.I recently had them clean our basement carpets which had some areas with deep major stains on them. They weren't able to obviously get them all out but the ones still left ended up being much more faded and not as noticeable.Once the carpets were cleaned, unfortunately an odor of cat urine ended up being very strong in one of the rooms. I called and spoke to April and they squeezed me in after the long weekend to come back and give some of the areas another treatment of a special cleaner/deodorizer. The carpets are so much better now and I must say thank you for doing such an amazing job on them.I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had the pleasure of working with Mike and the team at BDC to complete our second storey addition and main floor overhaul. Adam and team were fantastic! We had a mom squirrel and babies that made their home in the wall of our loft. Despite not realizing initially it was a family of squirrels vs. one, and it being 3 stories up Adam was able to effectively remove the squirrels (without harming them), seal the area where they got in and ensure they weren't coming back (mesh wiring along all windows on the floor). I've moved around a lot for work so I've had alot of different vets over the years.
I'm Really happy with this Vet so far, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, the prices are very fair and they do a good job of explaining what your options are to balance the cost vs best care for your pet.
Plus they also offer pet daycare in house which I haven't used yet, but I really like knowing it's all at the same place if/when I need it in the future.
We waited over 5 hrs in St Cath for our sick dog to be seen before giving up and heading to Mohawk. They took us in immediately and were nothing but compassionate and attentive to our obviously sick little guy. We cannot say enough about the care he was given and the attention to our concerns. We strongly recommend this knowledgeable and compassionate team for your loved pet's medical needs. Thank you!

My dog HATES getting his nails done and they always still manage to get it done. They are so good with my little guy and do a great job. My only note is that it’s a little difficult to book an appointment, perhaps online booking would be easier but all in all so good.
We had a great experience today at Hamilton Dod Spaw .Bella our Golden retriever had the works done ,she looks amazing .She was happy and comfortable in their shop .Definitely recommend.
I brought my dog to have a face trim last week and they did a great job, a week later I brought him in for a bath and brush and he is the softest and fluffiest he has ever been. He looks absolutely adorable. The salon is also clean and smells really nice as well! Thank you!

Best groom my Bernedoodle Luna has gotten so far! Finally found her a fantastic groomer, friendly did an amazing cut. Was so happy with her cut and care , she came out all smiles and was even admiring her reflection in the mirror on the way out ! ?

They do my little Shadow so well, I don't think there's a single groomer in the city that can match Canine Cottage! Worth every penny!!
Our new schnauzer puppy while usually very affectionate, becomes quite aggressive at the groomers. We had been rejected by 4 other grooming salons before we found TLC groomers. They were professional and caring and even though our puppy acted very badly for most of the appointment we left more pleased than we every thought possible. They did a fabulous job and our little girl looks great. I would recommend them to anyone regardless of what kind of dog you have. Can't say enough about these groomers- they are wonderful people!
I used to go here a lot when I was a student. Such amazing yoga classes - I highly recommend. Really learned the basics and proper form of yoga in this studio.
Breathing Space Yoga and Wellness Services is more than just a yoga studio. Dina is very welcoming and concerned for your wellbeing. She guides you to make sure you are doing the poses correctly and not to over strain yourself. If you miss a class, she is right there to help you make it up at another time. Very accommodating, not intimidating and approachable. There is a great sense of community. It's also a great place to de-stress while moving your body.
I was very surprised by this hidden gem! Don't let the building fool you! This place is great. Amazing teachers, friendly and fun staff, very clean and a variety of classes for all levels. The room gets HOT HOT, so be prepared but followed by a cool towel on the foreheads so while worth the work! Thank you De La Sol!

I am a former elite athlete and still train at a high level of fitness which means my body is always shielded with tense, sore and sometimes stressed out muscles. Shawna blew me away today. This is my second time seeing her, the first time was a hot stone massage (which was also incredible) but today was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a therapist for YEARS! It’s safe to say I’m now a loyal client. I’m not going anywhere. I found the one ?❤️❤️ Shawna mixed the perfect amount of pain with pleasure and I could feel the care in healing my muscles through her hands ? She did not hold back on the parts that needed a lot of pressure and I appreciate that. 5/5 is not easy to achieve but Shawna sure gets a perfect score for her work.

I passed my Full G driving test with THE GREAT help of my Driving Instructor Mr.ARIF from unipol driving school.
I must say I am beyond happy with the service from this team. I am a student driver and I did driving school, my in car instructor being Miranda. I have no words for how good of an instructor she was, she's the reason I passed my g2. She teaches everything so well to the teeth she is very patient, kind and down to earth. There is no way you fail your test with her as your instructor I swear to you. I highly recommend her!

Showed me around the Burlington drive centre and the route he showed me were EXACTLY the routes I took during both my G2 and G driving tests.
Learnt to drive with Sal 2 years ago, and passed my G2 the first time with him. Called him up again and took a few more lessons for the G test, and passed the first time once again. Sal is the perfect instructor; intelligent, observant, and collected. I would recommend his services to anyone seeking driving help!
The in-class lessons were very informative and inclusive and my driving instructor was able to give me a lot of advice during in-car lessons. He also listened to what I felt I needed to work on and spent time practicing that with me. I passed my G2 the first try! I would definitely recommend A1 driving to anyone with a crazy schedule or who needs a lot of hands on practice to perfect skills.
