Eyecare on the Square

My work changed their insurance provider this year. I've been a Lens Crafters customer. It's all I know. I've been happy with the service but I know there's something better. I passed Eyecare on the Square plenty of times and was curious. Plus it's close to home which makes it convenient. I called and asked if they were accepting patients and my insurance. Thankfully they did. I needed an eye exam and new glasses. I made an appointment in the afternoon on a Friday. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My optometrist was Dr. Jonathan Burt. Dr Burt is always a joy to work with. He is down to earth, knowledgeable, always positive (greets you with a smile) as well as provides data, facts and options. It’s funny… I was caught off guard the first time we met because the practice has been all women up until he arrived. However, I should have known that Dr Cartwright and Dr Rose wouldn’t have had just anyone join the practice. He has never disappointed and I’m thankful to have him as my eye doctor.

My first visit was better than expected! I had the most comprehensive eye exam I’ve ever experienced, and everything was explained in a way that I could understand. All of my questions were addressed and I walked away with actionable steps to help with preventative care. The staff was amazing and extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend!
