“Thank you Ms. Joseph and the whole RFH Team for your amazing service during the most challenging time for my family.“
“In early January I knew my mother’s last days were upon her . I called and spoke to Michael . He was very helpful in suggesting I get her on hospice as soon as possible. That was absolutely the right move , since she only lived two days after she was signed up .Having lived in Freeport since 1949, 74 years , my entire family , grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters, and my Father, had all been buried from Hungerford and Clark , and Our Holy Redeemer. We had always been supported by wonderful staff .When it was time to make arrangements for my Mother , Michael handled everything with great kindness that we had always been used to . My mother looked so beautiful and peaceful at the wake . I truly appreciate everything Michael did . I highly recommend Hungerford and Clark .“
“My family and I were satisfied with the services offered and the fees. Everything was explained to us in detail. The staff was present and very attentive to our needs. The viewing room was big and accommodated our large family and many friends. Every room was clean and well lit. There were bottles of water for our visitors. My husband, Hector Velez, deserved the best and R. Stutzmann & Son made sure he was given first class accommodations.“
“I would like to thank everyone at Beney Funeral Home for the community event they recently hosted a wonderful event. One would certainly not think of a funeral home to host such a fun event but it gave my cousin and her daughter a location to break out of the house to attend. We were downstairs in a cozy room with a cute breakfast for those to nibble on. Each child was given a choice to pick a stuffed animal to create. A place that is known for sad faces were met with smiles all while long being there. Thank you!!!“
“We're all going to die one day but when we lost our loved one how can we accept it. My aunt passed away and she left beautiful memories for the family that still on earth. The event is at evening, the funeral home team is organizing very well and professional. Next morning, we went to church and buried her at cemetery. The organize lady went with us and prepare the details in every step until the end of event.“
“The process was easy and fast.Elyse was amazing to get everything ready, and the prices were reasonable, also the logistics to send the body to another country was fast ,overall the entire experience was amazing.“
“At this most difficult time in our lives upon the passing of our loving mother Concetta Reala my husband Edward & I send our love & gratitude to Victor, James & staff who were kind, caring & loving to our family & friends. Our mother was treated with the utmost love, dignity & respect. She looked so peaceful & beautiful. Our heartfelt thank you goes out to all of you. God Bless You.“
“The staff of Clair S Bartholomew & Son were ALL very patient, sensitive and professional. Our mother's services were well organized, and we were completely satisfied with how everything went. They lessened our grief and stress and helped us to honor our mom. We didn't feel pressured around the financial aspects. We also found them to be responsive to our anxious repetitive questions. A special shout out to Peyton and Mahkela (forgive any misspellings) and to Terri Pinto and Fr Michael at St Barnabus. The professional male operatic singer at our service was incredibly talented. Everyone's compassion and kindness will not be forgotten. Much sincere gratitude.“
“There are not enough kind words to describe the kind and loving people who work at Towers. I recently lost my 2 year old daughter and Amy and her team were absolutely amazing. They treated my family as their own. The love and compassion they showed my family was unmatched. Every detail was perfect and there are not enough Thank you's in this world for them. From my family to the Towers family, we love you.“
“My father passed away suddenly, and my sister, mother, and I were thrown into the Chinese funeral process swiftly and completely unknowledgeable of traditional customs. However Mary supported us from the very first late evening call all the way to the post-cremation process so intimately, we felt it was almost too good to be true. There wasn't a question she didn't have an answer to, not a request that wasn't met, and everyone at the funeral home seemed to go out of their way to make sure we received everything we needed.Through the whole process, we felt like we were the only family they were serving which we know wasn't the case. Not only do I highly recommend Mary and the rest of the Elmont Funeral Home team, my family and I are forever grateful to them for all they've done for us.“
“.My father passed away last week. This place was amazing. They cared for my dad like they were family. They showed so much respectful and heart-felt empathy. We have used their services for my grandparents and uncle bye far the are highly recommended. They handled everything for us, even contacting and setting up his military burial. Thankyou again Kearns“
“Just wanted to take time to share our family's experience with Barnes-Sorrentino Funeral Home & everyone employed there. During this very difficult time the staff, especially Fred, were super attentive, caring & compassionate. They made the process easy for us so we could mourn without any other worries. We're so truly grateful and appreciative of the overall experience with this funeral home. Again thank you to all that helped and supported us during this very hard time for myself & my family.“
“I needed to add my mother's name to an existing gravestone and Shastone Memorials did an excellent job from first phone call to completion of work. They were very professional throughout the process, charged a reasonable fee, always answered calls and/or emails right away, confirmed everything before taking action, and the engraving work was perfect!“
“My uncle passed away recently and we used Chapey's in Bethpage. We met with Denina to make arrangements. She explained everything in detail and put us at ease. We were pleased with my uncle's appearance. The staff was present and kind. The place is clean and comfortable. The morning of the funeral the director asked if anyone wanted a coffee. She ran over to 711 for us. Thank you Chapey's for taking such good care of us when we really needed it!“
“McCourt and Trudden is the ONLY funeral home worth doing buisness with.My fellow Military Brother passed, and Michael Quinn and his team went above and beyond to service our team. I had never seen a service this well done in movies. Every moment within a 3 day event had been planned to perfection, and they had even made special requests unique to the family and my own requests. This is not easy. From a military transfer, to hosting the viewing and funeral service they had orchastrated a reception involving the Airlines, 220 Police memebers to recieve us as we landed, a team of 20 motorcycle police to escort us to the funeral home, proper utilization of the flag and keeping it at half mast, support from the fire department, and even ending it with a couple special songs at our request to symbolize just how important music was to our friends life.I wish I were from New York just for that type of remeberance. Sadly, they shipped me back to California :*(.“
“I am truly grateful for the exceptional care and support provided by the staff at Dodge Thomas funeral home. From my initial meeting with Guy, I immediately felt a sense of comfort and trust in his ability to handle my grandmother's arrangements with great care. Guy's professionalism, empathy, and patience made the funeral planning process much easier during a difficult time of grief.I also had the pleasure of meeting Blake, who exhibited the same wonderful qualities as Guy, further assuring me that my grandmother was in capable hands at Dodge Thomas Funeral Home. Being a first-time funeral planner while grieving, their guidance and support made the entire process remarkably smooth, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. When I saw my grandmother after her preparation, she looked absolutely stunning. I was overcome with tears of happiness and joy because she looked exactly as she wanted for her final farewell, and Dodge Thomas Funeral Home made that possible.Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Dodge Thomas, and a special appreciation to Guy and Blake for their patience, dedication, and the remarkable work of the cosmetologist.“
“Very helpful and accommodating in my families time of need. Highly recommend their services“

“I recently had the unpleasant experience of having to bury my dad , when I contacted Schmitt it was an experience that George and Mary made as easy and pleasant as something like this could be, they were both very compassionate and understanding with everything and couldn't have possibly been more accommodating- Thank you“
“My husband lost his mother suddenly & unexpectedly. John & his siblings met with Bruno, the funeral director, and found him to be kind, friendly, sympathetic and understanding. He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and very hands on. He checked in on us consistently and made sure we were all ok. He was very professional and kind at the same time. It was very much appreciated by the family! Thank you Bruno for all your help.“
“Owners and staff are incredibly caring and thoughtful. Thank you for making a very difficult day as comfortable as possible.“
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Macken who helped with my grandmother's wake and funeral service. Their guidance was appreciated. From beginning to end, their staff was incredibly professional and thoughtful.“
“Visited here for a walk around the grounds. We did the path to the left of the entryway off of Northen Blvd. I have to say that this is by far one of the most majestic cemeteries I've ever been to. It's picturesque and has a hint of an air of fantasy. The grounds are well kept and the tombs are old. There are cool flora everywhere, not to mention fungi. There were some steps down to another area but we didn't explore there. It's a lovely spot to walk around if you don't mind the dead for company. I'm looking forward to going back another day to roam the right side of the cemetery and visit those buried at the base of the hill. This truly is a neighborhood gem. There's a beautiful church too, and I'd love to check it out if/when it's open. Best to visit after a rainy day. Happy strolls!“
“Last month, my family and I had the unfortunate task of arranging a funeral. During such a challenging and emotional time, Cassidy Funeral Home provided us with the utmost care and compassion. From the moment I contacted Mr. Cassidy, I knew our family was in good hands. He was compassionate, honest, and incredibly responsive. He went above and beyond to help my family during a terribly difficult time.Every staff member we encountered was empathetic, patient, and incredibly helpful. We owe a very special thanks to Robert, who was exceptionally attentive to our needs and preferences. Robert went above and beyond to help our family. He is a good person to his core and exactly the type of person you hope to encounter when you're mourning.Mr. Cassidy and Robert guided us through every step of the process with kindness and professionalism. Considering the high level of service and the quality of the arrangements, the prices were very fair and reasonable. There were no unexpected costs, and everything was clearly explained upfront. Unfortunately, most funeral homes are corporate-run today, so you won't find this type of service elsewhere. Before contacting Cassidy, we spoke with three other facilities. They were cold and attempted to charge us more than what was required. In a time of grief and stress, Cassidy Funeral Home provided a sense of ease and peace. They handled everything with dignity and respect, allowing us to focus on celebrating the life of our loved one. I am sincerely grateful for their support and highly recommend their services to others facing the loss of a loved one.“
“For one of the most profound moments in our lives, our family is beyond grateful for the ease, grace, patience and attention to detail provided by Tom Donohue and the team at Donohue-Cecere.While experiencing deep emotions, we were given time to make special and deliberate choices we felt our beloved mother would be happy with, and that will always be fondly remembered.Valuable recommendations with careful consideration of our needs & wants, along with a genuinely sympathetic demeanor at such a delicate time, are just a few of the benefits of working with this team.“
