“I’ve been here twice with glasses emergencies. Both times was in and out within 20 minutes with my expectations exceeded. First time glasses were broken, was told by another place that i had to get a jeweler to solder them and that they wouldn’t attempt to help. Again was in and out of walmart with the repair made within 20minutes. Second time my frames were snapped in half. Was told by two other places that they would have to order me frames and that it would be about 2-3 weeks. I was in and out of walmart within 20 minutes again with new frames for $9!! I didn’t need anything special as i have an appt with the VA in 2 weeks but cannot go without seeing for that long. Great customer service!!!“

“LasikPlus in Albany very reassuring through the whole process. They want you to ask questions and during surgery the doctor talked you through it to ease stress. The surgery itself only had a few pinches. The healing process after expect pain. Overall, if I ever need it done again I am not worried!“

“My husband came to Glaucoma consultants with an urgent matter. Every member there was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. We felt like they had known us for a long time. Chris, Kristina, and Kate all made us feel welcomed, worked to help us, did their jobs excellently with patience and smiles, and even remembered/greeted us at our second visit. Dr. Pokabla was really, IMHO, a hero for taking my husband's problem seriously, and knowing EXACTLY what was needed: sending us directly to the ER for treatment, which "saved the day". As Dr. Pokabla was telling us about Ladd's situation, this oldie married for 50 years got teary. Dr. Pokable noticed this and took time to take my hand and reassure me....so rare to find this combination of excellence in medicine AND in empathy! Our second visit was with Dr. Lenoci, who was also supportive, informative, and had much patience to answer my nervous questions. We are also impressed with the thoroughness of the practice. They could have just said: "O.K. the procedure worked. Good-bye." Thankfully, that was not the case. My husband has another checkup next week with Dr. Pokabla. At this time with an aging population, seemingly increasing health issues, and often understaffed and definitely overworked medical professionals, we are SO lucky to have found Chris, Kristina, Kate, Dr. Pokabla, Dr. Lenoci at Glaucoma Consultants of the Capital Region! We APPRECIATE all of you very much! Thank you!“
