I am so thrilled I found Lauren at Thee Beauty Lounge. I have colored my hair for years from a box and decided it was time to go natural and give in to aging. Besides the fact that I was tired of my hair. Lauren did an amazing job and spent a good deal of time undoing my mess of hair. Lauren's personality was great. Pricing was very fair compared to other businesses and less than expected. Thee Beauty Lounge was clean and comfortable, centrally located in Oneida and has convenient parking. My 3 year old Goldendoodle Eloise has been going to Amarok Kennels for the past 2 years. We are beyond satisfied with the amazing care, knowledge, grooming, and 1-1 training that they have given us/Eloise. We have boarded her with Sarah and Tyler for weeks at a time when we have been across the country and we are so relieved she is in great hands, we don’t even need to think twice!They take amazing care of her and she has such a great time! We live in the New Hartford area and they are well worth the drive every time!

Needed a power cord for my laptop for work. I went to Walmart - the one I bought from them did not work. the Walmart employee suggested computer works. I went there on my lunch and within 10 minutes I had a working power cord. He saved the day for my job!!!

I'd searched for a beautiful cello that my youngest daughter could keep to practice on and found the perfect one here for her! It truly was a quaint little music shop with the owner having had years of experience when I went there--now 15 years ago! He'd even given me the names of some local people who could give her cello lessons beyond what her high school years had provided for her! I will never forget the look on her face when I gave it to her for her birthday! She was so moved by it, she couldn't speak! ❤️ Thank you to the Violin Shoppe for keeping her love for the cello alive!

I can’t express enough how wonderful of a hairdresser Amanda is at Best Cuts, she has been taking care of me since 2005, I don’t even live in the state anymore but I still drive all the way back for her to take care of me. It’s worth it for real, her prices are more than reasonable so please tip her well. She cares about her clients and makes the experience better every time. I get highlights and low lights every time.
I am very particular with how I like certain treatments done and Cara is the only beautician to ever get it right each time! I always leave very happy with my treatments ? She is very accommodating and makes you feel very at ease when in her cosy little cottage. I couldn’t recommend her more!!
I don’t get my eyes examined there but it is a great place to have good service for buying your glasses and that will except my insurance and will explain to me what the insurance will pay for and what I will have to pay . They are very helpful and I only had to wait a week and couple of days for my glasses to come in . Very convenient for me too, my son works there at Walmart in Oneida.

My husband and I have rented from Gary for the past 3 years and our apartment was one to get hit by the tornado on Barlow St. After being displaced, Gary expeditiously replaced the roof that was blown off during the event. Like many of the residents on Barlow St we lost a great deal and the whole time Gary showed empathy and kindness in an effort to get us back into the apartment ASAP. My husband and I are both in education in a neighboring district and Gary has pulled out all the stops in an effort to get us back in before the start of the school year. We greatly appreciate all that Gary and his team have done to lessen the impact of the less than fortunate event. Thank you Gary and to your team!

May 2, 2024 I want to thank and recognize Oneida Carpet for their excellent customer service. I have had the pleasure of working with Oneida Carpet a number of times so when I moved and my fiancé Mark & I decided to remodel our kitchen I went to Oneida Carpet for flooring. Tara took the time to help me choose a luxury vinyl tile to compliment the colors of the new kitchen cabinets we were having installed. She also took the time to come to the house and measure the kitchen area to ensure the right amount of flooring was ordered. Due to timing issues I purchased the flooring from Oneida Carpet and my contractor installed it. However, soon afterwards we noticed some of the vinyl tiles started to make snapping & popping noises when walked on. I called and talked to Tara about it. Within a few days Scott came to the house to check the floor. He found some of the tiles had broken where they interlock and would need to be replaced. So I set up for Oneida Carpet to return to correct the flooring. Scott removed the floor, inspected each tile for defects, corrected the floor where it needed to be leveled more and reinstalled the new flooring. It took him 2 days to correct and reinstall it. Once it was done I was only charged for the additional flooring material and supplies needed, they waived the cost of labor & installation. The floor looked so nice until once again it started to sound like we were walking on "Rice Krispies' snap, crackle, and pop. Scott came back out again to check the floor and found the locking mechanism failed on many of the tiles and where defective. Knowing this time the floor was installed correctly Oneida Carpet contacted the flooring manufacturer since it should have been under warranty. After multiple calls placed by Oneida Carpet to both their company sales rep and the flooring manufacturer, the manufacturer stated the problem was not covered. To say the least the response of the flooring manufacturer was unprofessional and discouraging. At this point Oneida Carpet chose to do what few businesses do today. They made the decision to honor the guarantee the flooring manufacturer wouldn't. Scott & Tara told us to come into the store and chose a new luxury vinyl floor and they would replace the cost of the new flooring. Today after many headaches we have a new kitchen floor that is completely quite when we walk on it and it looks beautiful. Oneida Carpet has chosen to no longer carry product by that flooring manufacturer. They do carry many brands that stand by their guarantee, just like they do. Thank you Judy Witchley & Mark Zieman

Called and had to get after hours service but having heat was important for my family. They let me know the price upfront and took care of me the same day, the tech showed up in record time which made me happy right from the start. Called several other companies and they couldn’t come out right away (saying a day or more later). The tech Derrick was knowledgeable and friendly and explained everything in detail which was important to me. Marc gave me an estimate as well as date and time he’d come for electrical repairs that were needed at my elderly father’s home. He arrived as scheduled on time with a few of his workers and had the job done in a couple of hours.
After numerous attempts to get other electricians here and my elderly father nearly rolled over the coals($$) by a few other electricians, Marc was the most honest and reasonable priced to say the least.

Finding a dog groomer in this area that will accept new clients is lie finding a needle in a haystack. I had an older lab, who was way overdue for a grooming and a puppy lab that is my wild child, go into see her today after fitting us in on a short notice. She did an amazing job! I was unfortunately busy at work and couldn't drop them off or pick them up so I had a family help with that but I had to call her and personally thank her for doing an amazing job. She Def takes pride in what she does and was a pleasure to talk to.
