“I went to vison works to get a pair of glasses and could fine NONE that I liked and the staff was miserable and unprofessional.I decided to try Walmart and it was the best decision I ever made. Not only did I find three pair of glasses I loved, I had the best customer service experience in a very long time. I had the pleasure of dealing with 4 of the employees there and they were all so pleasant and helpful but Felipe really stuck out to me. He was patient, kind, and could carry a conversation while waiting on the computer system. I even had a few good laughs. I will be coming back for all my eyewear needs!“

“I've never been a fan of going to an optometrist, especially the pupil dilation, so my mind was blown that Dr. Harbeck dilated my pupils simply by turning off the lights. It was a small and comfortable office, where the digital eye chart displayed pretty pictures when not showing the chart, with easy parking, and a stocked cooler. All the staff were extremely pleasant, and they had a nice selection of frames to choose from, at various levels. I learned quite a bit of how the pupil increases, as we age, so that the nice crisp, infinite focus, starts to get more and more blurry. In addition, the muscles in the eye weaken, so it gets hard and hard to focus for extended periods of time. They have become my new opticians.“

“I bought a pair of prescription sunglasses here in November with a warranty - on SALE!!!!! - for $69. They were cute and totally worth it because I need glasses to see to drive and clipons just aren't as good. Wouldn't you know it, my eyes changed dramatically in less than 3 months and my old sunnglasses are no good anymore. So I took my new prescription into Boscov's Optical in January - same young man as sales person - too see what they could do for me....because of the waarranty, he was able to replace the lenses in the sunglasses within 2 weeks for....drumroll...$32! That was such a steal that I bought another pair of regular prescription glasses for $150 which was also a very good price for no-line scratch resistant polycarbonate bifocals....Great service from Boscov's Optical! “This was by far the most pleasant experience with a doctor I have ever had. I went in early to fill out paperwork and the front end was amazing. They explained everything that needed to be filled out and was really nice. Then I went back with Dr. Vuong. He is the most approachable professional I have met. He was very nice and explained things in detail during my appointment. I was very anxious about my eye exam and he helped with it all! I recommend this entire practice to anyone.“

“I’ve been here twice with glasses emergencies. Both times was in and out within 20 minutes with my expectations exceeded. First time glasses were broken, was told by another place that i had to get a jeweler to solder them and that they wouldn’t attempt to help. Again was in and out of walmart with the repair made within 20minutes. Second time my frames were snapped in half. Was told by two other places that they would have to order me frames and that it would be about 2-3 weeks. I was in and out of walmart within 20 minutes again with new frames for $9!! I didn’t need anything special as i have an appt with the VA in 2 weeks but cannot go without seeing for that long. Great customer service!!!“

“I brought my prescription for my glasses(From America’s Best, in Colonie) here because I couldn’t find any frames at AB I liked , I found a pair of frames I really liked, here at WVC on Altamont Ave,that looked good with my facial structure..Diane took care of me and she was phenomenal ! She explained so much to me about proper glasses care, vision problems, and the difference between lenses and how each one worked, and how transitional lenses are supposed to work in the car or inside, which mine from LensCrafters wasn’t working as they were supposed to.She was very informative and in depth with her explanations. Something I’ve never experienced before when getting new glasses.I’m thankful I chose this vision care center.It might have cost me between $500-600, but that’s normal for my glasses, since I need transitionals, anti glare, scratch resistance and bi-vocals. No matter where I go, that’s the normal price for me. So I expected as much.I’m happy to be able to see now with the frames I wanted, and thankful for Diane, who really went the extra mile to explain things to me.“
