I finally found Lauren on Instagram and I knew just from her content that she was talented and offered an elevated service. Lauren was so attentive from the beginning and nailed my vision. Low maintenence, and just enough color to add some depth and interest. This was an excellent spa! I got an essential facial and added on a peptide eye treatment, facial massage, and hand treatment. She really took the time to analyze my skin and explain different options and products. My skin felt great for at least a week after and my hands went from what I call “old lady hands” to moisturized youthful hands. I also appreciate that the extractions here aren’t the typical painful manual extractions but rather use a gentler device. Overall I fully recommend this spa to anyone looking to help their skin in a relaxing space. One note - the parking is tricky as the location is downtown right by Sahlen field so al of the nearby lots are event parking only. Give yourself extra time to find street parking or park in a further away lot and walk.

I have been going to Jesse (Chief) for about 10 years now and have been going to Chiefs Barber Parlour since they opened three years ago. I will not go anywhere else for a haircut, period! If I am unable to go to Chief, I book with Nate & Ricky and they have always given me exactly what I am looking for. That goes for all of the barbers, Sam, Ramon & Justin as I have witnessed it first hand throughout the years. Every single one of them are professional, hold themselves to a high standard and are as friendly as can be! The shop is easy and convenient to get to, is very clean at all times and the vibes are always immaculate, I will not go anywhere else. Easily the best shop and barbers in Buffalo, NY!

Scheduling was easy and I really liked the questionnaire about your hair and your hair goals. My communication with Mercedes prior to my appointment was great! I had a very specific goal in mind and she took the time to understand what I wanted and then achieved it. I am obsessed with my hair and have received so many compliments! Mercedes was great to chat with and did such an incredible job! She even texted me days after my appointment to provide a conditioner recommendation!

Marigold Salon is welcoming and charming, a beautiful addition to Black Rock. You can't go wrong with Julie. She has been there for me from pixie cuts to long hair and back again (and again), and created the perfect updo for my wedding. Julie is also a color wizard, having successfully taken me from natural shades to full-on mermaid colors and everything in between, but also didn't hesitate to tell me when I wanted to do something that would wind up looking heinous (for which I have immense gratitude). Highly recommended!!

Got a spray tan Tuesday from Jessica for my wedding a Friday, and it was perfect. Everyone was complimenting me on my glow, and it was the perfect level when I said “as dark as I can go, but reasonable”.
They also spray tanned my now mother-in-law and she looked great too!
Just came in today for my first ever spray tan and Kat was great! She was super sweet and very professional. She put lotion on my mani and pedi so they didn’t stain and idk if that’s a common thing every spray tan artist does but I really appreciated it! The color looks incredible too I don’t feel like I look orange at all. Not to mention the inside of the shop looks beautiful and smelled great lol it was so welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

This nail salon was wonderful, but it has closed now. The owners of the plaza took the shop space for an Ulta store also ng with the Amherst Buffet. The salon owner who is a talented nail tech is at Nu Nails on Delaware Road now.

Visiting Buffalo, NY, I decided to take a chance and see if there was any availability for a trim and blowout to prepare for a concert. Despite the very short notice, Jennifer graciously took me in immediately.She examined my hair, which was very dry and dull, and mentioned that if she had more time, she would love to wash and use some of her products to hydrate it. I told her I wouldn’t mind waiting to experience her full range of talent. Jennifer, sweet and determined to revive my hair, made the time to do so. I went to Jordan for a haircut and balayage recently for the first time and I am obsessed!! The haircut brought so much life back to my hair and also made it easier to style at home on my own. The color is exactly what I envisioned too, I gave her a vague idea of what I was looking for and she was able to execute it perfectly as if she was reading my mind. The salon itself is super cute, clean and welcoming and all of the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Golden Hour!

I went for a Reiki healing session with Alisha because I have been feeling very heavy in my life lately. She was spot on with so many things that I have been dealing with and was able to give me some peace to feel lighter and less stressed. I have been seeing Anna for waxing for over 10 years. I have followed her to several locations because she is that good. Recently I tried a new facial which included a micro-current treatment on her new machine. I was speechless after the treatment! I was looking into a more evasive solution to my aging but no more - the results after one facial was AMAZING. Anna and her team are the best in town!
Vanessa is great - she really takes the time to ask you about your current skin care routine and to give you some tips to help your concerns. She uses all organic products which I love. However, be warned, if you are looking for a quiet, spa-like experience this will not be it. Vanessa is extremely friendly and chatty so she will talk to you throughout the session. She customizes her facials based on every client and uses essential oils to help you relax. The room the facials are done in isnt the most relaxing space and is quite bright, but she has everything she needs to perform a great facial so I can look past that. I bought a Groupon for 4 60 minute facials and have loved how my skin felt after my first two sessions. She has over 30 years of experience and it shows. She has given me great advice to up my skin game. I do prefer a more relaxing facial typically, but Vanessa is always so friendly and chipper that I don't mind talking to her. Definitely not your typical facial - but sometimes that's okay! Definitely give her a chance if you're not the type to lay in silence while the esthetician works on you.

Today I went out of my comfort zone and tried a hour long session in a sensory deprivation tank. Sometimes it’s difficult to try new things, but once I opened my mind and gave “floating” a try I had one of the most blissful physical and spiritual times of my life. The feelings of being in there totally shut off of all sound, sight, and feeling is difficult to describe but something I would recommend everyone to try. In this chaotic world having an hour to reset your body and your mind is something we could all need. 10/10 recommend

Hannah did an awesome job on my first brow tint! It was only $18 which I thought was extremely reasonable! She did my wedding makeup as well and did an amazing job then too. Everyone loved mine and my bridesmaids makeup and raved about it so much that my SIL booked her for her wedding as well. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and I'm so glad I did because she made me more confident with my brows. She even gave me some good tips and explained the differences between the different services. I can't wait to go back and try brow lamination and lash tints with her as well. Her space is so cute and it was easy to book online with her!

She explained everything as she was opening it, asked if I wanted to see anything, and described what she was doing and when she was doing it. This was my second ever tattoo but first one with Din. Based on my previous experience, I was nervous at first, but Din's personable charm and gorgeous, welcoming space made me feel very comfortable and at ease.

The main water shut off valve was leaking in my basement. I spoke with Eric on Monday afternoon, him and Steve showed up Tuesday morning. Steve found the main water shut off outside, turned it off and replaced it with a ball valve. Highly recommend these guys!

Gino and the guys from Zirpoli plumbing are absolutely amazing! We had a gas leak and another company came out (twice), charging us an outrageous amount of money for cutting into our walls and not doing a single other thing then never calling back to schedule the next visit Gino’s crew came out and found the issues right away. They kept in contact with us until national fuel was able to turn the gas back on which was very comforting. Tom installed a sump pump in my basement. He broke up the concrete, dug the hole, installed the basin, pump and plumbing and he even did the electrical work as well. He started the job the day after I accepted his quote. He finished the job in a timely and quality fashion. I would recommend!
Great emergency service from Trevor at Musso Plumbing. Our bathroom faucet sprung a leak and my attempts at fixing it had failed. Worse, it was a Saturday night and the faucet had no shutoff valves. Trevor showed up within the hour of my call and was able to install a new faucet complete with shutoff valves in around an hour. I'm very happy with the work and would not hesitate to call them in the future.

CVM electric came right away and explained to me exactly what work needs to be done and the steps needed to restore my power. What a great company! I originally called them to assist with an issue I was having with a fuse box at my rental property. Due the knowledge and professionalism of this company, I ended up hiring them to replace the fuse boxes and install circuit breakers. Guy came out. He did his job. He set some traps. He checked the perimeter of the house and all around the inside. He gave me some tips on how to keep the pest out. he went above and beyond very polite. Hopefully that did the trick, and when he comes back in a couple weeks or a month, the problem will be solved. I went into the office one day barely able to walk. Dr.Nowak was able to figure out what was cause my pain and fixed it the first visit. The visits after that was to keep everything in line and where it belongs. Dr. Nowak is a great chiropractor who really takes pride in his work. He is also very knowledgeable and approachable which makes being in his office very easy.

I recently came here with my turtle Rexie, right from the start there was a calm aura and both receptionists are super nice. The assistant and vet were both super nice and patient. The vet was super gentle with rexie, and rexie actually let her hold her head. I was so shocked. But of course, once she realized what happened, she didn't let her do it again, lol. They also helped me stay in my budget, which was perfect. But rexie did perfect, and so did they. 100% will be coming back in the future. Wonderful people who work there.
All of the staff are very friendly and understanding, I have gotten invaluable advice from the doctors and Vet techs here. It is a vet I feel is fair and honest. I would definitely recommend their services
After getting a young kitten for the very first time, my mind was bombarded with questions and fear of the unknown. Thankfully, I was able to speak with the McClelland staff and schedule a new patient appointment with no problem. When we arrived, we were quickly greeted with a friendly welcome. All the staff members were attentive and courteous. Dr. Carrig provided a thorough exam on our kitten, while answering our questions and fully addressing our concerns. You can tell he is very knowledgeable, and passionate about his profession. We know we are in great care in his hands and look forward to many years of visiting McClelland! 10/10 for outstanding service!
I've been taking my dilute tortie, Eowyn, to West Side the whole time I've lived on the west side. They always take such good care of her and help me monitor her weight and pancreatitis and any other health issues that she may start having as an aging cat. They are so kind and gentle with her and are very helpful with her and they make going to the vet as easy as possible for my girl. Thanks!
Amanda did such an amazing job deshedding my chihuahua Rocco. I came back to town to visit my family and my mom’s dog needed some serious fur removal. She was able to squeeze me in the next day after asking her through instagram.
She was able to get a lot of fur off of him as well add a blueberry facial upon arrival when I asked. She also trimmed his nails and trimmed a little fur off his butt. With that being said he was happy when I picked him up as well as super shiny and fluffy! She even took cute pictures of him! And her husband gave me a sample their lean dog food to try since Rocco is overweight.
Nothing but great things to say. They will treat your fur babies as your own!

Fabulous. Had gotten away from yoga with covid, started back this January. I am an old guy, 67 but pretty fit. Love the power yoga, gives me the flexibility I need and also great cardio. Extra special during the winter months or when there are storms and I can't exercise outside easily. Had to learn that with my knee I can't do the up and down flow as quickly as the young folks, the instructors are great about reminding us that we all need to follow what our bodies need. I had to chill out and remember that it is not a competition, that is my issue not PYB's. Every instructor gives you something, and over time they change their classes just enough, perhaps concentrating on a particular area for one or two classes, something you may want to incorporate into your practice. I live out of town but am in Buffalo working 2 weeks a month, love this place, it is one of the great things about working here in Buffalo.
It is a beautiful vive and building. Very good place to practice and see your flow. My favorite is the projector lights of the moon and aura lights, wow! This spot is very comfy, cozy, and clean. Felt right at home, thank you!

Went for my second class on Monday and I am so glad I found this studio! It’s super comfortable here and relaxed! Each person I’ve met so far is warm and welcoming and always checking on your needs during class! Classes are smaller which is great for a newbie like me! So happy to have found an amazing place to go to!
I went to receive a deep tissue massage for some shoulder pain i couldn't be happier ?Kayla was wonderful and addressed where I was feeling pain and I left there feeling 100% better and without my shoulder hurting .I recommended this place to a friend and she is making an appointment. Ashley is fantastic! I recently found her and have had two massages with her so far. She finds the perfect balance between deep tissue and relaxation! (Which in my experience can be hard to find both!) I leave feeling amazing. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Lakieta does amazing work! I went to her for a nagging shoulder issue that caused me to stop being able to workout for 2 weeks. I wasn't expecting her to be able to fix the issue but I thought I could at least get some relief from it. I got way more than I expected. After a couple of days after the massage it was back to normal!!!! I couldn't believe it, she is a real healer!!! I was able to fully get back to working out a week later with no problems. Thanks so much Lakieta, you have no idea how great I felt being able to get back into my routine all because of your amazing skills and knowledge!!

I’m so glad I gave acupuncture a chance. It helps me so much both physically and mentally. Ashlyn is wonderful and helps me with so many of my issues including fibromyalgia. If you have any physical or mental pain please give acupuncture a chance, it could really make you feel better.
Buffalo has some great things going for it, Buffalo Community Acupuncture is one of the things that makes Buffalo a special place. Craig is an intuitive, sharp and graceful clinician who has committed himself to serving this community. The community acupuncture model allows many people to experiment this healing modality who otherwise may not be able to afford it. I have had consults and treatments that were incredibly expensive and personalized and had no better results. I am so grateful for Craig and this clinic and the deep rest and nourishment it provides in a wildly racing world.

I go here fairly often for the chair massages. Love them! And the men who do them are very strong. So if they go a bit too deep, just tell them. I feel so free of my stress afterwards. And you can't beat the reasonable prices. My daughter prefers the foot reflexology, she falls asleep everytime. I highly recommend going there to feel stress-free and relaxed.
I cant emphasize enough how Jenny's Reflexology has helped my overall health. Back strains from work where very common in my work, I started to go and my sciatic pain disappears for weeks. When I notice my back is sore it is time to go back. The impact it also has on my feet in general is amazing. Of you have planters fasciatitiis this is your place to help alleviate it. Your 1st few times it maybe painful and sore however work thru it the results after are well worth it.
City A1 Driving school helped me to pass my test on the first try at 16! I did the 7 lessons package and Abdul was very patient and helpful each time! He gave me tips and answered every question I had!
My son was so happy to have clear guidance for his drivers test. After his first lesson he said "this guy really knows what he's doing!" Practicing with Abdul really helped him and we are very grateful for his instruction.
