After rescuing Kona in September of 2020, we realized she needed a lot of support on walks due to anxiety and leash reactivity toward other dogs. Kona's trainer, Canine Cohen, recommended GoDog and we never looked back. Jason and his team have been so supportive from the start, and he even partnered with Kona's trainer to ensure we were all on the same page regarding Kona's care. I really believe Jason is one of Kona's favorite humans ever, she just about pees herself from excitement every time he walks through the door. He is attentive to all of Kona's needs and makes sure that she feels safe and comfortable on her walks in our hectic, fast-paced Brooklyn neighborhood. We also placed the highest level of trust in GoDog for overnight stays. On those occasions, Steph would make sure to send us daily updates, letting us know how Kona's day/night went, what parks they visited on walks, and of course some pictures of Koko.After four years of being with GoDog, we are so sad to say goodbye but we are so grateful for the amazing memories made. If I won the Powerball, I’d give everyone there at least $50k each. Working from home and having a literal ball of fire running around doesn’t help productivity so I figured I’d give Pawsies daycare a try. Boy am I glad I did.The process to get started is so easy and we were greeted immediately by a team of great folks. I love that the team has their own dogs there and pretzel immediately felt at home. It was so exciting getting to see my little buddy have fun on instagram and he came home tired- I didn’t think he was ever capable of being tired!If you’re cautious about trying these folks out- dont be. “Dominik is amazing! We reached out to Dominik to work on our 4 year old dog Forest’s leash pulling. Forest struggled walking on leash, would pull and lunge, and was hard to manage on walks. We did three sessions and it has completely changed Forest’s behavior. We saw the change immediately within the first session. Dominik gave us the tools, technique, and confidence to transform how Forest walks. Now walks are enjoyable and Forest is waking like a pro! We highly recommend Dominik to anyone looking for a dog trainer.“

She was incredibly committed to helping us turn a wild high-drive energy-possessed puppy into a model-behavior dog that we can take anywhere. With her training, he was able to pass not only the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, but also the Canine Urban Citizen and Canine Community Citizen tests. Now when I have a question she is always immediately responsive and helpful - she really knows Franklin, and us, and knows what works. “They have been great. I bring my dog here for daycare when I work, 2-3x a week. Very affordable!!! I also live close enough that they walk him home for just an extra 5$, for days I may work past 5-6. So helpful!!! I only wish they gave discounts after coming so much, like a punch card because I never can afford or have the mind to order a package prior, I freelance so I don't always know when I will work or stop working. I also just wish they had a camera or some sort of way to check up on him when I'm at work, but still a great place, with no real complaints just suggestions! I also love watching their Instagram as well with all the events they promote and doggie pics, of course.“

“We’ve been taking our puppy, Pippa, to the Institute in Williamsburg consistently since she was 3 months old, and words cannot express how incredibly effective the program is. Elizabeth and her team treat the puppies like their own – training, mediation, playtime, cuddles - in a very clean and cheerful environment. The classes are 4-hour, drop-off, where they practice socialization and skills like impulse control, sit/down/stay, leash walking, etc. with a positive reinforcement approach. They send lots of videos and photos throughout so you can see how your puppy is doing (SO fun to see all the cuties interacting).Since the classes are only open to young pups who are all doing consistent training, they aren’t exposed to bad/unsafe playtime habits, and are kept extra safe with the team checking in regularly on vaccine status and health testing.When our pup was brand new to the city, she was shy and a little nervous about socializing, but after a few classes she started to come out of her shell. These days she is truly the most confident, sweet, well-adjusted dog around, and it is 100% thanks to Play & Train classes at the Institute. Over time we’ve noticed she’s gotten really good at playing and socializing with all different dogs – she has learned to be gentle with small dogs, knows when someone is too shy or doesn’t want to engage, and she is completely unfazed by dogs who are grumpy or anxious.The program works so well because it’s meant to be in tandem with individual puppy training sessions where they learn core structure, commands, and skills. Really love this setup and approach, and it WORKS!! Elizabeth is an expert trainer with a special talent for teaching dogs AND their parents.The facilities are also very nice - love that there is a ton of natural sunlight and multidimensional play space with cushions to help get up and down. The team takes the puppies for walks during the sessions which also keeps the area clean and enforces their potty training.We HIGHLY recommend the Dog Institute! As a side note, we discovered the Institute through word of mouth around the neighborhood – lots of dog owners around Williamsburg go there, and they all speak very highly of it -- reassuring to know everyone who has been there loves it!“
“HI-BK is the best daycare in the Ft Greene and Downtown Brooklyn area. The level of care and attention given to all the dogs is on another level. I know when my dog Emmy is at HI-BK, I can trust that she is safe and having a good time with her doggy and human pals. Rich and the rest of the team at HI-BK are wonderful…they have great communication with dog parents and will always keep you posted with how the day went, along with any relevant notes. Very thankful for this place and team of people.“
“I have senior dogs under 10pds each. A different grooming place advertised they groomed senior pets. Then when I went to pick them up, I was told they wouldn't groom them anymore. It took under 3 hrs for both of them to get full grooming. Unlike that other place, Doggie Funhouse welcomed my dogs and fully groomed them without any issue. I am grateful.“
