I feel very lucky to have found this clinic shortly after relocating to Brooklyn. Dr. Stronger and the rest of the staff her obviously care a lot about the work they do. They are clear and thorough in how they help you understand what’s going on with your pet and provide a range of options to accommodate your (financial) situation. I have never once felt like they are trying to rinse me and their practice feels extremely considerate, ethical, and honest—— a must for a veterinary practice but sadly can’t be expected of all of them. Brooklyn Roots has been helping me from the start of rescuing a kitten, Eleanor, with some neurological issues. Their team was so supportive and helpful when it came to working with this kitten and figuring out the best treatment options for her, especially in the beginning.Recently, she had her spay surgery. Dr. Lantner took the time to discuss this process and the potential risks, given Eleanor’s preexisting conditions. The team at Brooklyn Roots did a great job of keeping me informed the day of her surgery and reviewed the special steps they took to ensure a successful surgery. I cannot describe how wonderful this vet practice is. We have a 10 year old dog and have been to at least a dozen vets over his life. This one **is by FAR the best**. It’s not even close.I’ve come here for 5 years and our dog has had a couple health issues in that time - I think I can give a pretty accurate assessment of the practice.I look for a few things when going to a vet:1.
