I have long hair, I've been hesitant to get even a trim from anyone because I hate getting my hair cut. I let a friend do it once, big mistake. My boyfriend has been going to Kent for years and told me to trust him. So happy that I took the chance! He is a true artist, constantly learning and teaching the latest coloring techniques and trends. And he is entertaining! The shop is wheelchair accessible with underground parking and an accessible bathroom in the building.

These guys never disappoint. My son's hair can be unruly (curls/waves on top, straighter on sides and all around thick) and we have tried other places. We started coming here 2 years ago and his cuts are always great. They look great the day of and best of all, they still hold up when his hair starts growing back in. We usually see Jay, but a few times we have gone to the other guys if we can't get in with Jay. They do really nice work. When I'm there, I'm usually the only woman, but the guys are all nice and welcoming. Time and money well spent.

I booked a 90 Minute Couples NSL Massage for my boyfriend and I on a whim. First Impression: The outside it adorable to walk up to and upon actually entering the premises we were blown away by the immediate feel of magic, ease and wonder all at once. I've seen many different aesthetics when it comes to decor yet this was otherworldly in a provocative and enchanting way. This feeling continues throughout the rest of the stay, room to room and into their gorgeous back courtyard! Point of Interest Number Two: The massage therapist made me feel instantly at ease and in capable, knowledge hands; safe. I instantly began to melt into the techniques he was using that I had never felt before. The entire massage was almost entirely new to me as far as style and I loved every single second of it. My boyfriend was equally in heaven with his therapist. I could go on for an essay's length about this world-class massage team we experienced right here in this hidden gem in Albany. I rarely right reviews, yet had to this time to spread the word about this amazing gift you will be giving any recipient of a service from this Spa! My first time to the spa was a wonderful experience. Ambience of the spa is perfect. Sauna is amazing. Kasey was just fantastic. I’ve had many facials and Kasey gave me the best I’ve had to date. Highly recommend! So relaxing!
My most recent trip to the spa left more to be desired. Brook was my aesthetician and I was not impressed. It didn’t seem like she liked she wanted to be there. Although, maybe she was just having a bad day. I would have liked to discuss recommendations she might have for my skin but this didn’t happen. Luckily, Kasey assisted in this at my prior appointment.

Went in for a cartilage piercing. It was my first ever piercing and Gene did such an incredible job talking me through what was happening and making sure that I wasn't woozy or dizzy after the piercing.

Ahh! I got the coolest piece done here by Courtney and omg I can't tell you how much I love it. She was so gentle!! So gentle in fact that the placement didn't even hurt, even though it was supposed to be in a spicy area. She called me a unicorn of a client and I ride that high to this day LMAO. shop was clean, awesome decorations, she even set up a privacy partition for us. She took her time and locked in, but was so quick I couldn't believe we were done! Highly, highly recommended!

We've used this plumbing service for quite a few years and have recommended them to many people. 2 years ago we had them remove a garbage disposal from under our sink and reconnect the drains. But last week we saw a leak where the drains were reconnected. Called the office and they apologized for the work that was done and within 5 days they sent over someone to fix the problem, at no charge to us. We really appreciate how this company stands by their work and will continue to use them in the future
I called Paul during a recent heat wave. I was out of town and my wife was working from home-it was 87 degrees in the house. The owner Paul was there within an hour. He diagnosed and attempted to repair my outdoor unit. Sadly the old R22 dinosaur had given up. Paul installed a state of the art Bosch heat pump system for me. He worked in the attic when it was in the 90’s. I’ve had Taub do work for me in the past and I am always very pleased with the outcome. Personable, professional, prompt. Will continue to gladly give out their name.

Determined to do quality work. I had purchased a repair ring to repair the flange, but Tim preferred a different style ring, which he had with him and used instead at no extra charge. Service is always quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend A&J Plumbing.

They were able to come out the same day I called and had the new unit installed in just two hours. The cost was reasonable, and the team was incredibly friendly and informative. I have had Crisafulli over several times since my last review in 2018... twice for the main house trap needing to be unclogged; once to have the old cast iron house trap replaced with smooth PVC; and once to have our main line inspected. While usually I am at my worst when these emergencies come up, Crisafulli is always at their best. They are helpful, friendly, come quickly (Red Carpet Customer plans are likely why), and their rates while not the cheapest are a good value to me. Without them, I would be in trouble!

Wade Electric came out a few years ago and replaced our electrical box and also gave us a hookup for our generator as well as some other electrical work. Bob Wade came himself to do the estimate and he had another person come with him to do the work. The company is professional, punctual, and goes above and beyond to make sure things are done accurately and efficiently.We recently needed more work done and called on Bob and the Wade Electric team. Again this experience has gone above and beyond our expectations. Bob came out with another employee of Wade and they did a superior job. I have told others about Wade Electric and the positive experiences we have had. The prices are more than fair and I like the fact I am dealing with a trustworthy, honest, family owned and operated business. I know we will continue to call on Bob and his team whenever we need electrical work done. Our home was built in 1924 and I don't know of any other electrical company that could do the job Bob and his tram have done for us. Superior work!

Finally I called KB Appliance and he not only picked up right away... but offered to come same day. We agreed on the next day, for him to assess/fix my dryer and he was clear on the price for coming out.
He showed up very timely and had my dryer fixed in minutes and made recommendations on future dryer care! He even.. as a kindly bonus, took a peak at my dishwasher that I had a brief question about. John came this week to clean our very light colored carpeting. My wife had spilled makeup which did not clean clean up very well. john got it out in no time. The week after Christmas my aunt needed to have her home completely declutterred, deep cleaned and restored back to a liveable safe environment after a fall that left her to need 24 hour care at home. She is a collector of things there was so much to go through and complete quickly, it was so overwhelming for us to go through. Hairo and his crew were able to make this a priority and come in and complete everything with in 3 days. He had a plan and decluttered and cleaned, placed things in bins and sorted garbage vs items for us to go through when she got home. Then a through deep clean of the whole house (2 br 2.5 bath) they then deep cleaned the carpets and windows. There aren’t word to express how greatful and impressed we all are at this level of service. Hairo and crew are amazing, kind. professional and trustworthy , they were even able to clean a shower I though might need to be replaced. I can’t recommend them enough!

Albany Carpet Warehouse is the top choice for your carpet needs. I visited other carpet flooring stores but something about Dennis and Carter made me feel like I would be well taken care of. Dennis and Carter are very knowledgeable and care about their client’s needs and happiness. I highly recommend you meet them in person and bring home the carpet samples to make a decision. My first installation didn’t match my expectations but after expressing my concerns they worked through every step of the way with great professionalism and I can now say I am very happy with my current carpets. Al did a wonderful job installing as well. I am truly grateful for their expertise and being helpful with my concerns. I had Bennett replace my storm boors with the same model that I had them install 14 years ago. Even tho they now suggested a different brand I insisted they use the same Anderson storm doors with self-storing screens and locking levered handles that I had been so happy with in the past. Unfortunately, one of the locks was defective and Anderson was extremely difficult to deal with, but Bennett repeatedly returned until the issue was resolved. I would strongly recommend Bennett and I still love my doors in spite of this issue!
If you are lucky enough to hire Olsi Stavre, congratulations. You won't be disappointed. I had an exterior wall that was severely damaged by carpenter ants. We were concerned about structural integrity. we couldn't find anyone to even look at it. Olso came quickly, gave a fair estimate and then returned to do the work in one day. It is restored beautifully, and it was a tough job. Olsi knows what he is doing, does what he says he will do and has fair rates. It is hard to find someone you can trust and depend on. Olsi is awesome.

KD Landscaping Albany has been fantastic for our snow plowing needs! They’re quick, thorough, and keep our property accessible all winter long. It’s a relief knowing we can depend on them, no matter the snow depth.
We’re a new construction in Halfmoon and initially had limited backyard space. We contracted with Pearl for a paver patio with a fire pit. During construction, the team was professional and courteous. We are very pleased with the outcome of the patio, fire pit, and sitting wall. It is very spacious, easily accommodating 10-15 people.
The brush behind the patio was cleared, leveled, and hydroseeded, giving us a large back yard. As a bonus, the tire tracks left from construction were hydroseeded, leaving no evidence of the recent construction.
We were very pleased with Pearl and with Anthony who made absolutely sure the project went perfectly.
Professional, honest and meticulous. Tom walked us through options and really helped us navigate a project (we weekend DIYers thought we could do ourselves, big mistake). The patio and sod installation was difficult due to incredible amounts of rain but Pusatere Landscapes was there daily assessing and doing what could be done. They somehow managed to stay close to the original timetable of completion. We will use them again in the future and would definitely recommend.
This place is excellent! I highly recommend them! UB and Rachel are excellent to deal with. We had UB come out and figure out what to do with the area where our old pool was. He came up with a great idea and was able to complete the project in a very timely manner. Back at the office, Rachel was great with communication and even was able to find a specific plant that my wife was looking for, even though it was hard to find. Also, UB had his crew clean up and re mulch my existing landscaping. Looks great! Thank you!

Meant to do this last year. The Elite property crew had to clean up a horrible mess left by another contractor who did take advantage of me and didn't know what he was doing. Vinnie and group had to remove crushed stone that was improperly installed and clean up the layout . The result was a beautiful patio that perfectly compliments our home. I visited Dr. Kerry Deyo when I was traveling the US from Europe. I previously saw a plethora of orthopedics that said because it’s not broken, it’ll probably heal on itself. 6 months later with no resolution to this medical mystery & so much pain, Dr. Kerry Deyo made me feel heard & was able to explain exactly what had happened, why & what would improve it. Her vast knowledge made me feel so comfortable & she could explain how the medical system works sometimes. She is very well connected to her medical colleagues & has a lot of resources to help anyone. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kerry Deyo’s practice & hope to see her again when I’m in the US again. Dr Guerra and his team were nothing but great. I was dealing with a bad case of degenerative disc disease for a very long time and had bad pain in my lower back. Dr Guerra recommended the spinal decompression treatment via the DRX9000 machine. I went and did all the required sessions and I have been pain free for 3.5 months and have been feeling great.

I visited here several times back in 2018 and just returned for the first time since. I loved the classes I took then and I loved tonight's class just as much. The instructor is a source of limitless modifications and suggestions to accommodate each body and each ability level. The space is homey and pretty and modern, with ample space for changing and storage. There is ample off street parking. (GPS usually directs me wrong to this location, instructing me to drive down a street so narrow it amounts to barely more than a back alley, so be sure to approach from the main sheet instead and then you'll be able to use the parking lot.)I can't speak highly enough of this yoga studio and would recommend it to anyone.
The studio space is HUGE (compared to NYC/NJ studios I've been to). Also free parking.The teachers are attentive and enthusiastic.Choose the class that best suits you.All the amenities - shoe cubbies, lockers, changing rooms, and showers.I only buy drop in classes but they have affordable subscriptions and class packs to suit any availability (again, this is by comparison to other studios in the lower Tri-State area).Also very convenient location for anyone visiting UAlbany.
I've had many injuries and chronic back issues over the years but when I was hit by a bad case of sciatica I could barely walk the pain was so bad. After two sessions it settled down but then came back not as bad and after another two sessions I haven't had a reoccurrence. Christina clearly knows what she is doing! Highly recommended.

Finding a salon that offers a Male Brazilian Wax is not an easy thing to do and when you do, they charge a premium. Kristina was very concerned about comfort and doing a professional job. Her price at $65 is extremely reasonable and will allow me to "maintain" for the first time.

Dr. Wei is very nice and caring, and it is easy to schedule with her. I have only had three visits, but I feel amazing after each visit and the acupuncture has already helped my chronic headaches. I highly recommend Dr. Wei.
Very accommodating. My son did the 5 hour course online which i was skeptical of. And it was engaging, and he interacted with the instructor like he would have in a class room. I was very impressed. So much so that even after my son passed his drivers test we paid for a lesson for him to go over the demerits he got when taking the test and tighten everything up. I would highly recommend them.
