“My wife passed away recently and despite a long battle with cancer, we had not made specific plans. She had only expressed her desire to be cremated and have her ashes buried in a cemetery in another state. I did not select a Mortuary until after she was gone. I chose Palm Eastern Mortuary because her father was buried there and it was, frankly, the first place that came to mind. I am glad that I did. I received a call from Tom Cropp, a Funeral Director at Palm Eastern the day after my wife's passing and he set up a meeting for a few days later. Tom seemed to sense what I needed. He was sensitive and respectful but not dour. He listened to my desires and allowed me to ramble on about my wife and our time together. He did not try to sell me services that I did not need or try to talk me out of following my wife's wishes. I believe that he genuinely cared about helping me in my time of grief. He helped me to prepare a memorial video and other tributes. In short, his service was excellent. Other Palm staff were also helpful and respectful.“

They took such good care of her and allowed my family to spend as much time with her as we needed during an incredibly difficult time. This establishment handled my mother‘s acclamation, quickly, efficiently, made it easy to handle the cost, and gave me wonderful options for how to handle the remains of my mother. The only thing I did not like is during the time I was viewing my mom in the back room, my husband came in with our baby, and someone told him that I said I did not want the baby in the viewing room. I never said this, and because of that, I had to view my mother alone, As my husband and baby stayed in the lobby. I really really wish that would not have happened, but don’t feel that it’s enough to warrant a bad review. It actually sort of seemed like one individual may have made that decision of their own discretion, which should not unfairly reflect against the rest of the organization.“
