“As an older person and a relative beginner in yoga practice, I count myself very fortunate indeed to have found Susan. Her many years of teaching experience coupled with her infinite patience and good humor make her one of the best instructors you could ever hope to find. The Yoga1 Studio is a small, intimate space that lends itself particularly well to the intensive but friendly and non-competitive practice of yoga that Susan offers.“

“I took Luna’s Yoga therapy classes back in 2010 during the hardest time of my life at Santa Fe Trauma Treatment Center. The practice was calming, relieving anxiety from my mind. Stretching exercises helped reducing my body stiffness. Later I was looking to find easy, calming yoga classes to continue my treatment and I had a hard time finding something easy and friendly for beginners. Santa Fe Yoga Therapy is a right place for balancing your health. I highly recommend it“

“I cannot recommend my experience with Ibrahim enough. His extensive knowledge of the body is profound. I came in with an acute back issue and even after just one session I felt deeply different. The next two sessions were really healing and as my back started to resolve, he helped me to get deeper and deeper into the next layers of my system as a whole.Ibrahim’s gentleness, intuition, and atunement with the body is such a gift to the community and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.“

“I love Jo Ann's studio in Santa Fe, it's a wonderful place to practice yoga. However, most often I participate in her classes in Los Alamos on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternate Fridays. With each class I take my body relaxes more and more. I cannot thank Jo Ann enough for all her detailed instruction that pushes my body towards a healthier state.“

“My partner and I went to the beginner flamenco dance class. It was our first time doing a dance class, in ever and we had barely seen flamenco dancing. The teacher and yoga studio person were both very nice and welcoming. The teacher gave great feedback and was very encouraging. We ended up learning way more than I imagined we'd learn in just one class. Next time we are in Santa Fe we would return!“

“I've been attending the Santa Fe Spa since signing a professional baseball contract as a lefthanded baseball pitcher in 1986. In the winter of 1989, I flew south to pitch in winter league beisbol in Mexico and injured by pitching elbow. Thinking the worst, I returned home to Santa Fe and my orthopedic doctor placed my arm in a cast. Then I signed with a team in the New York-Penn League in 1090. I needed therapy and thats when I met Michael Hoerning at (Turquoise Trail Therapy) the Santa Fe Spa. In six month's he miraculously healed my injured elbow to where I pitched for another thirty-one year's, (pitching in 587 games for 200 team's, winning 459 amateur games until the age of 57!) Having a massive hemorrhagic stroke and going into month long coma.As the game of baseball was not at the top of my list as I was discharged from the hospital and started the therapy process with St. Vincent's Outpatient Sports Medicine & Therapy some twenty-one month's ago, I was reunited with Hoerning once again. We started and have maintained the past six month's together with what he's prescribed as NDT (Neuro Development Training.) In his words, " you need to crawl before you can start walking." So here we are today, some short six month's since our therapy started and he has be almost walking on my own, (albeit with the use of only a cane) a far cry from when I was using a wheelchair, to a walker, to a Hemi-Style walker, and now to using a cane.Once again I am starting to fly to be reunited with my Boston Wolfpack teammates and my new life goal is to one day make a comeback and walk back atop the pitcher's mound and do what I always did best in life, pitch a baseball...I owe it all to both Michael Hoerning, Tamara Lichtenstein, and the wonderful staff and ownership of the Santa Fe Spa for all they've done for me to allow me to again one day dream of pitching a baseball and beating the odds of healing and getting back on my feet and walking again. I was given only a 10% chance of doing this... But I'm going to not only beat the odds, I will pitch and win again. For "I am ALIVE!"Best regards,J. Rodney TafoyaAuthor of Ageless Arm~“

“I was immediately impressed with Source yoga. I really enjoyed Austin’s class, it was modified for all levels and educational. I really liked the vibe, the location, the pricing. Signing up for classes is seamless. Their website is seamless. I committed to the package of five classes even though I don’t have much experience with yoga, but it comes out to only $15/ class. I guess this is where my yoga journey beings!“
