928 Flushing Ave, Brooklyn“I have a very active 3-year-old border collie named Chipper who needs a lot of stimulation and exercise. I recently started taking her to Pawsies periodically and she has loved it! Sometimes she can be scared of new people and situations but the team there has made her feel at home. She gets excited to go in their facility each time. She recently went on a field trip to hike/swim (her favorite activities) and I felt good knowing she was safe and cared for. We love Pawsies!“

428 Columbus Ave, New York“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!“

We’re so glad to have them help us out!“

It was our first time being away from Maddy and we felt at ease knowing she was in such good hands. Highly recommend Le Pooch chateau!“

681 4th Ave, Brooklyn“What’s there to say about Jason and the GoDog team. They truly treated my dog like their own and I never once was worried when she was in their care. Jason is a local guy who loves his community, especially the dogs in it. If we would bump into him on the street, I simply had to let go of the leash so Boogie could run up to him. He does a great job of vetting and training his walkers so there’s never any concern when new staff comes on. My dog is very wary of strangers, and yet she never has any trouble with GoDog walkers, both new and old.
Every one of the GoDog walkers were incredibly responsible and would always give me prompt updates after their walk. A special shoutout to Steph who walked Boogie practically every day for 3 years. Boogie is going to be heartbroken that she won’t get to see her favorite person regularly anymore.
If I wasn’t moving to a new neighborhood, there’s no question that I’d be sticking with GoDog. I am going to miss their professionalism and care they showed to my dog.“

38 Peck Slip, New York“We had the most incredible experience with BCWW over the past several years in NYC. Khloe (our 2 year old mini goldendoodle) looked forward to her daily walks and the team took such good care of her. They loved Khloe like she was their own! They were also so attentive to her behavior (always letting us know if she behaved, had a stomach ache, etc.). We trusted them and Khloe absolutely loved every dog walker she had.“

We used their remote private training since we weren't in NY and it was still better than other trainers we've worked with in person. They're easily the most organized, they have amazing content, and they give you training tools that are easy to generalize to new issues that may pop up. Highly recommend“

86 Fleet Pl, Brooklyn“I worked with Dominik to help address walking issues with my 4-year old rescue pitbull mix. While her enthusiasm and curiosity are usually lovely qualities, they made our walks frequently stressful, with lots of pulling and unpredictable moves to smell this thing or greet that person. I had tried a variety of collars, harnesses and techniques, to no avail. I had also worked with another trainer, without getting things where we needed to be.
My pup and I had three sessions with Dominik, and she is walking like a dream. Dominik's training process was fantastic. He is very clear in explaining his approach. He is extremely calm, and he assessed the situation quickly. I really appreciated that he used our time well, and he mixed demonstrating what to do with also giving me lots of time to practice while he was there, so that he could offer tips and clarifications.
I highly recommend Dominik, and will definitely work with him again for any other training needs.“

24 Orient Wy, Rutherford“I recently sent my dog Maya who is a 10 month old female German shepherd dog to Fido Fidelis for their 2 week board and train program. Peter and his team were absolutely amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a true passion for training dogs. I was provided with report card updates weekly during the board and train program so I could see Mayas progress. Maya came back a whole new dog and I now have full confidence in her knowing she was trained by Fido Fidelis. I wouldn’t send anyone anywhere else but Fido Fidelis for your dog training needs!“

107 W 86th St #14D, New York“I can't recommend Deanne enough. 4 months ago, I adopted a 5-month old puppy who had no prior training and severe leash reactivity to both dogs and people. Through working with Deanne, he now has a strong foundation in training and can walk through busy NYC streets with few issues. He also LOVES Deanne and her training sessions. Her love for dogs is so evident. Deanne focuses not only on dog training, but also on giving owners the tools they need to continue training in between sessions. She writes detailed summaries with instructions on how to progress further, and I have learned so much about dog training and behavior through her, even as a lifetime dog owner. Deanne uses a science-backed positive reinforcement approach which has been great in helping my nervous rescue pup build confidence. She constantly continues her learning through research and courses, and her passion for dogs shines through in her training. I feel so lucky to have found Deanne!“

Nelli is such a wonderful owner and was always accessible and flexible & we have loved having Nathalie as our primary dog walker. They send a ton of (humorous) pictures of Loki on every walk which has filled our camera roll. Nathalie was always very attentive and we trusted her completely with picking up and dropping Loki on every walk. We 1000% recommend them for Brooklyn dog walking /pet sitting needs!“

Brought in my almost 3 years old anxious dachshund there for overreacting behaviors and was hoping for some guidance. Jennifer really touched on everything, explaining to me why such behaviors would happen, and how could address it moving forward. Highly recommend!“

We mostly went because we were worried about doing her nails at home but figured we would get her the whole package! June was pretty nervous and Jeannette took a lot of extra time to make her feel comfortable and got everything done we asked for! Definitely worth it and will be back:)“

498 Kinderkamack Rd, River Edge“I'm conflicted about recommending Behavior Plus because it was not a good experience for me & my dog but I do believe that they are credible and the right way of training. I got caught up maybe as a distraction because after the second private session I didn't feel like there was investment in us. I paid up front for eight 90 minute private sessions. At the 2nd or 3rd session I asked about it because our sessions were 45 minutes. Frank said oh don't worry about that you'll be around a lot more than 8 sessions - We're going to get him into some classes with our trainers and may even get him off leash. I can't push him more than he can do and right now that's 45 minutes. I was impressed & excited! But, after 8 sessions of a 45-50 minute walk, I was told that's the last session, keep in touch. I feel like Oliver was jipped and we were just incidental in a busy time because they were moving locations. I also felt a bit disrespected instead of being guided. I'm very upset because in the end I didn't help my dog. It actually left me in tears.“

316 E 70th St, New York“We love Puppy Tale Lodge! This place is a gem. The staff is unbelievably kind, caring, and patient. We love how they let our large dog roam around after his bath instead of keeping him crated up. He always smells fantastic after. They do a great job cleaning his ears and cutting his nails. You can tell they really care for the dogs and like what they do. Would recommend to all looking for any grooming service. We feel so comfortable leaving our dog here for a few hours. They offer optional payment through an app, and notify you when your dog needs to be picked up. Puppy Tale Lodge also ensures all vaccinations are up to date which we really appreciate.“

I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!“

480 Johnston Ave, Jersey City“I found this location in Google while looking for a new groomer. We’ve been trying the ones by our area and we weren’t satisfied by their services (business hours too restrictive, not open on weekends, too long for the pet to be ready, not handling with care, not responsive for appointments, etc..). I called and got someone on the phone right away. I was able to get a last minute appointment on Christmas eve for our dog Lily. She is a cockapoo, medium size dog. She is 9 years old but already has arthritis in most of her legs and suffers from multiple allergies so she needs to be treated with care and attention as her skin and paws can get reactions.
My husband dropped off Lily and I called and was able to speak with her groomer directly. His name is Jose and he was so kind and genuine on the phone. Since it was our first time there, he asked about her needs, her issues, what needed attention. He explained what he would do based on her arthritis and allergies and answer my questions calmly. When Lily was ready, Jose called to let me know and even sent me a video of how Lily looked . My husband picked her up and she was happy and looked beautiful. I will definitely come back as I believe the service, attention to detail and empathy for dogs was delivered during my dogs grooming appointment. We appreciate finding a location that has flexibility for our busy schedule and has great customer service and groomers in our community.“
“I recently took my puppy for grooming. It's my first time as a pet owner so i wasn't sure even what kind of cut to get. My puppy cut came out great because of britnany and i was so thankful because last cut they left her looking like a mole rat. There was one employee that really took her time to explain to me a couple of things and i told her my dog breath sometimes is so bad and she doesn't like greenies. She showed me drops in the store & just gave me pointers on keeping her fur coat white. I can google tiktok and search for pointers but her taking the time to explain & help me understand certain things without rushing really meant a lot and put me at ease. I wish i knew her name. But thank you!“
