I've finally found a decent dental practice in Hoboken. After bad experiences at two different dental provider groups in town, I decided to bite the bullet and go to an out of network provider this year. My fiancé and coworker recommended Dr. Farag's practice to me and I'm so glad they did. The practice is clean, the front desk staff are kind and accommodating, and the hygienist and dentist were thorough in the cleaning and exam. They were very transparent with me about what my out of pocket costs would be based on my insurance's out of network benefits. I had to reschedule a couple times and they kept me on a cancellation list so I ended up getting in sooner than originally expected. I'm very happy I made the switch to this practice.

I was walking past on a very cold day and decided to step in because the pockets in my jacket had ripped through the seams and my hands were freezing. I fully expected to come back another time to drop off my coat but the kind man working was so professional and fixed me up in less than 10 minutes. Will absolutely be coming back here!

Susanna is the best! She works privately now. She helped me alter a wedding dress I bought online. It was a lot of work making sleeves and waist fit right. We basically changed whole style of dress. She was perfectionist and we had fittings in sections to ensure each part was exact. Definitely recommended.

Recently found this local off-chain barber shop in hoboken. The staff and the owner are very friendly, they take only cash unfortunately and I was not aware of that and the owner was willing to extend credit and let me pay later, which was very refreshing in such a transactional world and came back to leave a big tip. I hardly write reviews but I felt this place warranted one. If you are around and are looking for a basic and fast cut do drop in and support them!
Hannah is the best! I’ve never been so relaxed while getting my hair done. She’s so incredibly personable and every single time she nails my hair. I have curly hair and it very hard to work with but Mima did my hair beautifully and they did an amazing and awesome job also the product they used made my hair so soft and a little silky but the Mizani winch they used on my was amazing i also got highlights there at Vision of hair they were beautifully done and i recommend going there.

I have been going Suzie for many years for Keratin treatment. She does a wonderful job, making sure that my face is well covered so I don’t breath in the fumes. Katey really listens to what you want, pays attention to detail, and teaches you how to manage your own hair with the right products/styling. Really don’t know what I’d do without her! I booked with Meho. He dedicated time for a consult and actually cared to listen to my hair history and needs. He then provided his professional guidance and ensured that I was aligned on the cut game plan.
The cut itself was perfect and Meho helped me to understand a new, more manageable approach to my hair (at my request). He’s a true master barber, cares for his clients, and has integrity in his craft.
During the cut I was offered a much needed cocktail by the owner, Anthony. Cool dude!
Him and Meho are both Hoboken natives, and this translates to a more meaningful experience as they are community centric.

Cynthia pays exceptional attention to every detail, both in understanding your request and executing it perfectly for your hair type. She's the only stylist I know who takes notes on her clients. During your next visit, she reviews the previous cut and discusses any changes you might want. She takes her time and does a fantastic job. I have had a hard time getting a decent haircut in the area. Tried several places before here and they have not worked out. The cut i got here was great. Admittedly the upper end of what i find reasonable ($60 for a men's cut). The lady who cut my hair used scissors for almost the whole cut though. The blending is particularly great between the sides and top.

I feel like I have to write a review due to all the compliments I’m receiving on my hair! I had Carman and she was amazing. I showed her a reference picture of what I wanted and she did exactly that and more! It is difficult to cut curly hair and this was my first time going here so I was not expecting a success story but to my surprise, this is the best haircut I’ve gotten. Also the atmosphere was great and Adam complimented my curly hair which was so sweet of him. This was SO worth the price and I was able to recommend my other college friends this place (which they also went to and loved) Anyway yeah! Can’t recommend enough!

Shining nails is too good to share. It's small, everyone's pleasant and the music both days was just right making for a peaceful time there. The place was packed when I arrived and asked for an appointment so I only got a pedicure& came back the next day for a manicure. Both services were excellent, & that was two different women taking care of my nails. The aromas of the scrubs & lotions were nice& natural. The technique & foot file used made my feet look normal without pain & I have two terrible calluses. I'll be back. Oh speaking of back. I added a 10 minute massage for after the manicure, which was perfection.

The best nail salon I have ever been to. Quiet and small and the owner is a sweetheart and will start recognizing you quickly. Amazing gel manicures that last for weeks. My UV gel manis last 4-5 weeks looking flawless. The pedicures are relaxing and wonderful also. They give a little back massage after your mani which is heavenly. Prices are reasonable. I am tempted to want to gatekeep this place that’s how much I love it. They take their time and do quality, detail oriented work. When I move out of Hoboken leaving soho nails will be one of the saddest parts!

I recently got a bouncy blowout with Janette for an event. I was very happy there was a last minute appointment available, and the price was great. The style was done as I requested. Took one star off because when I got home I realized I had a lot of flyaways in my part area that I had to fix. My hair also got slightly frizzy on the way home in one or two areas where I don't think the hair was 100% dry. I'd try again given the price and how friendly everyone was, and will be sure to expressly communicate those points next time. It was still better than what I could've done at home! I booked a last minute facial yesterday morning because I desperately needed a deep clean with extractions. Since moving to Jersey City this year I needed to find a new spa for regular facials anyway. I’m so glad I chose this place! It’s a beautiful facility with welcoming and courteous staff. I got Maggie for my facial and I’m so glad I did! She was sweet, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I clicked with her right away and really enjoyed the conversation we had during the facial. She was super thorough with the extractions, did an amazing gua sha massage and really improved the texture of my skin! I highly recommend her. I have been here several times and they have all been great. Kate takes her time to get to know her clients and does whatever it takes to make you have a great relaxing massage. Kate also does a wonderful facial. She put me to sleep! Today, I got Madelynn and she was just as amazing. She found all my trouble areas and really focused on working out the knots. Joe and his team did an AMAZING job on our bathroom and staircase. We really appreciated how neat and respectful the entire team was with our home and how everyone went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the work. We are so thankful for all of the extra touches, like the care and attention that went into painting and reassembling a vintage hamper, repairing an extra light fixture (that wasn't even part of the project!), cleaning up our antique bathroom window and making it look good as new, etc. And the ventilation fan that Joe recommended is fantastic! And all of the work was 100% completed within the deadline, despite the design changes and setbacks! The staircase looks phenomenal. You can tell that so much care went into each and every step. Not only did they un do the mess caused by the previous hack contractor but they actually beat the original deadline by 2 weeks. I cannot thank Mark and his team enough. They were very transparent with me about what my out of pocket costs would be based on my insurance's out of network benefits. I had to reschedule a couple times and they kept me on a cancellation list so I ended up getting in sooner than originally expected. I'm very happy I made the switch to this practice.

I had a very sore and stiff neck. After the first week my symptoms were relieved and I felt a lot better. They were very helpful and made sure to educate me on the problem as they helped me fix it. I’d recommend them for annoying whose experiencing pain!
Dr. Vito was fantastic. Clearly knows what he is talking about and his adjustment was great. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vito. I plan to come back for further adjustments.

So glad I found Dr.Frio in autumn 2021.A total lifesaver. The only chiropractor and medical professional to diagnose me properly. Never knew that I had slight scoliosis. This caused one leg to be shorter which in turn makes my right side of body susceptible to issues. Dr Frio not only did necessary adjustments, but also knows which point on body to press. He is amazingly knowledgeable and highly skilled at his profession. My body got stronger than ever within 2 months.
Laura Brayton is amazing! I have been seeing her once a week for adjustments during my pregnancy and it has been helping my lower back pain and overall posture as my body is growing. Front desk staff is so warm and accommodating. Highly recommend!

So I have been coming to this studio for about 1.5 years now. I especially enjoy the Hatha yoga classes (the ambience is great with cute candles lit on the windows). The instructors (Gagan, Samantha) are attentive, kind and offer a lot of variations depending on your experience. Lastly, I have been to other hot yoga studios too… and never gone back (over stuffed, over priced etc). In general, I try out all possible studios and gyms and only stick with the best ones so you know that this place has quality.
The instructors are phenomenal !!! The studio is wonderful. The community/people are so friendly and supportive. I’ve made great friends there! I’m obsessed ❤️?

Dr. Loh of Dao-Sheng Acupuncture was recommended by my OB when I mentioned I was interested in fertility acupuncture. I went to the Hoboken location and thankfully never had an issue with parking, even during evening appointments. The office is always a calm environment with friendly faces. I love the fact that Dr. Loh‘s wife and daughter worked there (love a family business). After an initial consultation, going over goals and history, Dr. Loh created a game plan including acupuncture and herbs for me. I’m so happy I found Dr. Loh and will definitely be a longtime patient. Highly, highly recommend Dao-Sheng Acupuncture!
Absolutely love my accupunture experiences here! I always sleep so well after her sessions. There’s a new sense of peace and calm every time I visit her! Belinda is so professional and her office is so beautiful and clean.
