Iconic Lash Studio is the most beautiful and amazing lash studio in Wilmington, NC! My lashes are perfect every time I leave! Also, the studio is so gorgeous and relaxing. I highly recommend Iconic to anyone wanting lash extensions. I have used all the lash artists at Iconic and love them all. Best lash experience I have ever had and shall continue to use Iconic Lash Studio for years. Lea, the owner, truly has the most beautiful lash studio and highly trained lash artists that truly make getting lashes relaxing and so enjoyable.
Hannah's salon space is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. She does a great job cutting and coloring my hair and after years of having her as my stylist I can say I always leave super happy with the result. She is very gifted at her craft.
I had a great experience at Milan Laser Hair Removal for underarm treatment. The process was quick and efficient. The staff was professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure.
This a little late but Shannon is a God send and truly great at what she does. I had my eyebrows micro bladed previously at another establishment (which I will not name) and the technician did a terrible job. Luckily Shannon was able to fit me in that same day and correct the poorly done job . I cannot thank Shannon enough and plan on visiting her again soon when I need a touch up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in town. If you want quality work call Shannon.

My first time getting a Pedi in too of a long time. Chose this salon due to closeness to my house. Dani did not disappoint! I was new to this and I chose a Lemongrass massage/soak. Was AMAZING! And Dani did a wonderful foot/calf massage. I will surely come back!!

After receiving a gift card for father's day, I booked a massage with Demetrice for July 2nd. This experience start to finish was 5 stars and I would even rate the therapist higher than that if it allowed, as she was absolutely amazing. Point blank... To say she is the best massage therapist I have ever been to is not doing her justice, as that is hard for me to even say having had really great therapists in the past. She is just on a whole different planet than what I have previously considered the best. I mean it when I say this... As long as I continue to live locally, I will never go anywhere else as long as she is there. She is incredible!

My second time visiting this salon and I’m impressed even more after today’s visit. Brittany took the time to consult and ask questions to be able to deliver the haircut I wanted. Followed by an amazing shampoo (by the awesome assistant, Kelly (I think)) that included an essential oil scented eye mask and spa music in the background. It was exactly what I needed after a crazy day at work. Brittany took her time with me and it never felt rushed. My hair looks and feels amazing plus I enjoyed our conversation.
I have been seeing Carlee for a few months now and she always does a great job! I came in with very damaged hair from previous bleach and extensions and she has done a great job at helping me grow out my natural color and bringing my hair back to a healthy state. She always does exactly what I want and I always enjoy my appointment with her. Highly recommend!

What a gorgeous, friendly, and skilled downtown salon and I'm so happy it's in the sweet spot of the arts district. I made an appointment with the amazing Katie Green and was so impressed with not only her amazing color skills but how friendly she and all the girls in the salon were. I knew going in my pain in the ass head of extremely thick and dark hair was going to be a project and I was full of advance apologies but she clipped on that's mock and got to work. I couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing her highlights in my hair turned out. She made the 4 hours I was there fly by and everyone was so upbeat clipping and snipping away. This was the great salon experience I was looking for. I am so happy I have to look no further than 2 blocks down my own doorstep for such professional and capable service. They also offer many other spa and facial services and are one of the premier bridal suites downtown. Super great location for a bridal party too with cute little cafes and pubs nearby if you're making a day of it beforehand. Thank you, Dalisay and Katie! See you in 6 weeks!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Shelby. It was very relaxing and she was really accommodating to what I wanted. I went in for a scalp cleansing and massage. I just wanted to RELAX. I have super tight curly hair. I’m 48 and I am just now embracing the beauty of it. I did not expect Shelby to be trained in styling my type of curls and she was honest with me when I asked. She can now put tight curly hair on her resume. She listened to me when I told her what worked and what didn’t. She listened when I told her how to apply styling products. Other places I’ve gone too, thought they knew more about this head than I did and I came out looking like a frizzy poodle. Not here, I was very pleased that she listened to me and I listened to her. I plan on going back for the 12 week maintenance and I also want to research the curly cuts. My kid said, I should have booked him an appt to clean his scalp too ?

I think Tabitha gave me the best cut I’ve ever gotten. I’m quite sensitive about my hair and I tend to be very specific with any stylist/barber about what I want; however, I told Tabitha that I wanted to try something a bit new. Not only did she give me exactly what I wanted, she went above and beyond and introduced me to some new ideas for cutting and styling my hair. I took a risk by trusting some of her suggestions, and it paid off immensely. I love my new hairstyle and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to what I had before. She’s also so kind and personable. Not to mention the cut was very affordable. I will surely be going back.

Hanc is THE guy to get a haircut from if you are in New Hannover County. The shop vibes are immaculate and i have never been more comfortable in a barbers chair in my life. Just moved to the area. No wait time @ 11am on a Tuesday. Juan was my barber today. Turned my year-old mop head into a low fade with 2.5" scissor cut on top. The aftershave and hot towel was a nice touch. Very happy with the cut!
Enjoyable environments, colorful conversations, and great barbers. Actually "Barbers" seems more like an understanding, these guys are true artists. With "Popi" being one of the most popular "Artist" in the shop. If you need to get sharp for an event, stop in and ask for Popi. You may need to make an appointment after Wednesday, because he is busy, but everyone in the shop is fully capable of making you look better than you thought you could. See you there.

My favorite place to go everyday I can, complete zen. Nice, comfortable, and easy going employees. Owner is a very nice and respectful man, easy to talk to. Always feel welcomed walking in the door, every one always says hello as you arrive (not many places around here give you that kind of undivided attention). Also, it’s no hidden fees and you can cancel your membership as long as it’s before the 25th, unlike other places here in Wilmington where you can’t even cancel your membership. We are very pleased with our decision to join the Palm Beach Tan family.

Hire them!! I had Alice Lawson Salon do the makeup and hair for my wedding this past weekend and they did amazing. Mason, Hannah and Katie came to the venue and made it thru 10 updos and 5 makeups in a crazy fast time-they are not only the sweetest people, but great at hair and makeup. The trial run at their beautiful salon was also great. If I lived in the area I would go there more often. For the price you pay, you get way more-it was exactly like the pictures I showed them for makeup and Hannah listened when I said I didn't want a ton of makeup. I had no idea what to do for my hair and Mason did a style that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you sooo much again!

I recently received a haircut by Sydney Pickell and she was the sweetest! She truly listened when I asked her to keep as much length as possible (I have pretty long hair), which is difficult to find these days. The price of the haircut wasn't outrageous either given that my hair is also thick as well as long - other places would upcharge for this. I will definitely visit this salon again, it was the best haircut I've gotten in a very long time.

I went to Slim (Shannon) for a little over a year and she did 70% of patchwork sleeve. I can honestly say that she is not only an amazing artist, but incredibly professional and kind. It can be intimidating getting tattooed when you first start out, but she never once made me feel out of place and did a great job giving me advice as to what would look best for my pieces.
The shop is great and super clean. I have yet to get tattooed by any other artists here, but I’m sure it would be a similar experience. 10/10

Shop itself is homey, spacious, clean, and lobby area is beautifully decorated. Tony has done two large pieces for me and with both has taken the time to perfect the design, bounce ideas back and forth, and given informative suggestions. I have very sensitive, easily irritated skin and he remembered this from doing a touch up on my first large piece a year ago. He spent all day on my piece yesterday, not because he had to, but because he was taking his time on each individual blossom as if it were the only one, using a light hand, and administering products to help with irritation. I don’t think anybody else would have/could have taken the time and care that Tony did. He made it easy to sit for a chest session, despite it being my first tattoo done in a more painful spot, and me having a small frame paired with sensitive skin. It doesn’t get more professional, knowledgeable, or caring than that.

I had Bluewater Plumbing Company replace all my quest waterlines in my house the crawl space and in my walls and replace it with Pex waterlines. This was a two and half days of work . The two man crew Mike & Eli Scholer worked diligently to get the job done . Each day before they left they made sure we had water and that there were no leaks. They also removed all the quest waterlines from my crawl space. They both were very professional as they worked Mike didn’t have to make but four cuts in my sheetrock inside my house because of Mikes knowledge the cuts he made were easily screwed back to the wall. Mike and his son Eli done a greatjob !

I had a water heater (under warranty) installed by them several years ago, but still under manufacturer warranty, for which I encountered some problems. Upon contacting Dwayne, one of the managers, he and very communicative staff in the office sent out an excellent plumber Eric within a rather quick time range to evaluate the problem. Eric and Dwayne immediately assessed, with integrity, the problem; took responsibility, and clearly communicated with me to suit my schedule to return to fix it. Eric and helper Chris fixed the heater back to original condition, and communication was straightforward and honest throughout their wrangling with the problem. Eric and Chris stuck around after the repair for 15 minutes, for much needed peace of mind, that their repair work had no leaks. They professionally, with integrity, stood by their original work.

Removing our old tank was horrible, as it was leaking and rusted, clogged and messy. He removed it and protected our carpets as it was removed. He was amazing. A local contractor doing renovation work in my home had given unlicensed day laborers access to my house keys and they accessed my home well after acceptable business hours, on more than one occasion. I no longer felt safe in my own home. A-1 listened to my concerns and offered solutions so I'd feel comfortable moving back in. The owner came out and changed up everything. Very considerate, didn't try to over sell new locks and refurbished/re-keyed my existing ones. I couldn't have been more pleased with his work/help/suggestions and feel considerably safer. Highly recommend!! Exceptional customer service, which in my opinion is getting harder to come by these days. Will use again if needed and he guarantees all work as well!!!!!!

I had lost my keys at my mom's house and searched for them for three days. I finally gave up and shopped around for a solution. Towing the car to a mechanic or dealership plus the cost of the new keys would've cost an arm and a leg, so I found 4got Keys online and was surprised at how quickly they were able to come out to my mom's, cut the new keys, and get me back on the road. The entire process happened in just over an hour! Amazing service from Justin and the lady who gave customer service on the phone. After calling 4 locksmith’s for emergency service and getting no help, I called Complete Locksmith Services. John McErlean responded promptly and came out immediately to help my son who had locked his keys in the trunk with his groceries. He was able to unlock the car within 5 minutes and sent me a pic to show my son in the car. He absolutely saved the day and my son’s groceries from going bad in the hot car. Best service ever!! I placed an online order for a countertop. Within 15 minutes of placing the order Chaz called me to follow up. He informed me he had received the order, and would have my countertop the following Thursday. He also said he’d call me as soon as he received it. Promptly, I got a call from him the following Thursday, and we made the 2.5 hour drive to pick it up the next day. When we arrived, he greeted us and got us loaded up quickly. Best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time.
We had a bad tile job in my brand new home. My builder was Southern Pines Homes who was not interested in making it right. I wrote a negative review here about Owens and I immediately got a response from the owner of the company who came out the next business day and put a crew on this to fix immediately. My original review was not glowing for Owens, but we have learned that it was the builder not communicating with his subcontractor. Rest assured, if you personally select Owens Flooring, you will get a quality product and white glove service. I posted new pictures so you can see the difference. Hagood Homes made our dream home a reality. After we purchased our lot in Compass Pointe, we knew we had the arduous task of choosing a builder among the many fine home builders that were available at CP. After much research and many visits to various models, we cofidently chose Hagood as the builder of our retirement home. The reasons were many, from standards like 10' ceilings, foam insulation, custom moulding throughout and home plans that included a finished 2nd floor with a roomy deck, to the outstanding staff that we worked with throughout the project. Our journey started with Josh Adams who went out of his way to help us select the perfect home. Josh took great care to listen to what we wanted in our home and led us to the Harbour Towne III model at St James. We knew we had found the perfect plan for our home. Our next experience with Hagood was a 3-day selection process where we chose all of the finishes for our home. It was an exhausting task but Hagood made it a well-organized and pleasant experience. Once the building began, we can honestly say that it was smooth sailing to the end. Our project managers, Dustin and James, along with the construction manager, Will, helped make our home a reality. Throughout the process there was great communication and little anxiety.
We have now lived in our beautiful home for 6 months and are thrilled with our entire experience working with Hagood and their amazing staff. She was checking out the backyard to spray, immediately saw my dogs running to her and the open gate and had the presence of mind to close it quickly and prevented them from escaping. What could have been a bad scene (Evan probably would have run to Wrightsville Beach and Sam would have taken himself for a walk around the block) was prevented by her. The exterminator that was at Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe was Bobby and his right hand man, Diggs! Both gentlemen went above and beyond for both the community but they are so good with the residents. They are awesome to work with and the friendliest guys I know! These guys did an incredible job cutting back my overgrown shrubs and mulching my front and side beds. The attention to detail was phenomenal. They had removed the previous bedding, bringing the beds down to dirt in order to put down a fresh layer of mulch. They communicated extremely well and were very responsive. I would highly recommend them for your landscaping projects.

He even helped me out with a repair on my water supply that didn't really fall into his wheel house, and he could easily have referred me to a plumber causing me further delay, but he handled the repair quickly, professionaly, and reasonably. I am a retired dental hygienist who recently moved here and started seeing Dr. Duffy. He is an outstanding clinician. My bite was quite off even after having had Invisilign in Virginia. Dr Duffy told me he could improve it with some bite adjustments and the change has been incredible. My bite feels much more comfortable, my chewing capacity has improved considerably and I am now have contacts on all of my back teeth, which is as it should be. Dr Duffy’s ability to make these corrections is due to his skill - this is something a lot of dentists struggle with and it’s such a huge part of your dental health. I have complete trust in his abilities and am so happy to have found this wonderful dental office!

Dr. Gail assessed our sweet Toby and then made multiple gentle adjustments on him of which he handled extremely well. Dr. Gail also took the time to explain the areas in Toby’s spine that were out of alignment and how these adjustments will help his hip alignment as well as his gate and sitting. I had a wonderful experience with Elite Chiropractic. I had very bad sciatica and lower back pain. I could barely walk when I first visited Dr. Sonya and her team. She gave me an X-ray and explained all of my issues and put together a plan for recovery but also for whole body health care. I followed the plan over the next two months and my sciatica is completely gone and I feel great. I will continue to follow the maintenance plan in the days ahead.

Dr. Lydia Shedlofsky and her staff are simply amazing! I’ve been trying to switch dermatologists for a while because I felt my previous dermatology office lacked warmth. In contrast, at Summit, the scheduling specialist was kind and understanding. As an educator I need appointments during non school hours. She put me on a wait list and contacted me twice until we found a good slot.
Once I was in the office, the team at check-in was just as warm and welcoming. I noticed as I waited my turn, they were professional and kind to everyone who entered. When it was my turn to go to the back, Maddie and Lauren were equally kind and professional. I voiced some concerns related to my skin and there was no rushing, just inquisitive, professional questions. Dr. Shedlofsky was also very welcoming! She gave me a thorough evaluation and provided recommendations I’d never heard of to help me better protect and treat my skin for past and future damage from the sun to avoid cancer. I’m definitely going back to Summit on Shipyard!

Dr crane and Dr Harris are both really good drs and I will be making sure I stick with them for my skin checks and any procedures I need done. Another Dr here at this office with short dark curly hair (I forgot her name) saw me for a skin check about a month ago and I pointed out two new spots on my face. She referred me to an eye specialist to have one removed and the other one she just said “with where that’s at on your nose, I’ll just leave it because I don’t want to give you a scar”…no offense, I think that’s pretty unprofessional and neglectful too..I care wayy more about catching skin cancer spots early than I do about scars…
I have been taking my dogs to Leonard Sykes since I moved here almost 6 years ago. I lost 1 of my dogs during that time to heart failure- Dr. Sykes was amazing throughout the entire treatment and I was blessed to have an extra 1.5 years I didn't think I would get. I have continued service with them since then with Beauby and each time the front desk staff is amazing- friendly, they genuinely care about you and your fur babies. Both doctors are down to earth and genuinely care for the animals. Pricing is affordable. No surprise charges. Visits are quick with zero wait time. The most incredible vet in Wilmington! So beyond grateful for how much he cares for Bella and all pets. Bella suffered a horrible side effect from a drug called PosaTex that another vet prescribed to her which caused her to go 100% deaf in both of her ears. It was absolutely devastating and she was so miserable and confused for over a week. She also had a double ear infection. No one was willing to help. Dr Kerr was able to fit her in promptly and he recommended Ozone therapy. Within 24 hours of her first treatment, Bella’s hearing had significantly improved and her infection is almost gone at recheck that she has been fighting for over a month. Dr Kerr has truly saved us! We are so thankful her hearing is coming back. He also has checked in on us multiple times to see how she’s doing. Thank you so much!

The Dineen staff was excellent and supportive during the loss of my golden retriever "ladybug". I rescued that animal long ago and gave her the best life I could. Jess is the best groomer I have ever used.Period. She groomed my 10 year old Maltese yesterday and the results were simply amazing. But there's more! It wasn't just the adorable haircut...it's how my dog seemed transformed after the grooming! I have never seen her calmer, happier, and so very relaxed! It's was really a miracle and a joy to witness! It's like she went to all day therapeutic spa! I am simply amazed and grateful!

Erika's pet grooming provided great pet service. Unfortunately my dog was too aggressive to complete his hair cut. Erika and her staff was very understanding and considerate. I felt really bad about the situation, since he could have injured Erika and her staff, but they tried to be as accommodating as possible, which I really appreciate, but still I as the owner of my dog, I should have know better about my dog's behavior. I made sure to apologize to Erika and her staff right away when I arrive back to pick up my dog. I even attempted to pay Erika and her staff some form of fee for their service, but they politely would not accept my money. This is how understanding they were about my dog situation, which they did not have to be. Ultimately my dog will need training in order to be more calm and less aggressive to be able to get his hair cut. Erika and her staff even suggested that I come back again at another time hoping that my dog would settle down. So they were still very welcoming, which they didn't have to be due to the unfortunate experience I put them in with my dog. At the end, I hope to return back due to Erika and her staff great service and affordable price. Thank you

There are A LOT of groomers in very dog-friendly Wilmington NC. However, there's only one Bark Avenue and Christy. The premises are always spotless and Christy's wonderful little boy (Boo-Boo) patters about spreading calm and cheer to the clients. No racks of terrified pups awaiting their turn here, just a quiet, welcoming efficiency hangs in the air.
Christy herself is outstanding at her craft PLUS she listens carefully to what owners want done and always follows through. She is friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional. Finally, Christy is great at predicting what time your pup will be ready and, if she's held up for some reason, she lets you know in plenty of time. Howver, this almost never happens.
My pups, Mimi & Madeline always look great when I pick them up, and most importantly, they do not appear stressed in the least.

Absolutely looove loooove loooove this studio! The energy from the instructors to the people in the class are just amazing and encouraging. There is no other yoga studio like this. I literally drive 50 minutes just to attend their hot yoga class, it is totally worth it to me.

Daughter wanted to do yoga class on vacation. Despite 8am wakeup and 1.1m walk to studio, the place and class was welcoming, mellow and nice. Reccomend checking it out if in town.

Fabulous Pilates studio focused on wellness. Supportive and inspiring instructors. I always feel strong, confident, and more flexible after a Pilates class.
I took my first class and I loved it! I didn't know what to expect but this was really cool. You go in and there is a room to your left which has several machines on each sides. Each machine has different contraptions for different parts of your body. You get a full body workout and it is fun, exciting and relaxing all at the same time.
Julie is amazing and very attentive to what your body needs. She helped release tension in my glutes/hips that I’ve been having for a couple months. 10/10!!
First time visiting Shine On and it won’t be my last. Cam was super friendly and welcoming. He ran through all the details and was very attentive. Facility is very clean! Love the aesthetic. We did the Sauna + Cold Plunge package and I feel like a new human, such a great experience! I went with my girlfriend and it was a great day date. We will 100% be regulars at Shine On!

Phenomenal place. The staff is all so nice, the spaces are clean and very nicely decorated. My spouse and I got the 90min couples massage and it was perfect (thank you Jack and Maryanne!). Will absolutely be coming again and would highly recommend for anyone like me with chronic pain and spine injuries.

I’ve experienced bodywork from a lot of different practitioners over the years, and Amy brings all of those approaches together in what can only be described as pure magic. Her understanding of the body and subtle anatomy are amazing.She brings an incredible depth of understanding to the table, and then, pours all of her heart into helping her clients.I walked into her room with some really acute physical problems, and came off her table like a new woman. I feel beyond grateful to have discovered Amy!

Autumn is an exceptionally gifted massage therapist. It’s hard to articulate how good she is because sometimes we don’t even know what kind of pain we have until it’s been alleviated. Autumn will ask questions about what ails you, but her magic is really in her intuitive healing. She seems to read your body and your muscles and works accordingly. I am a huge fan, and whether she comes to me at my house or I go to her at her studio, it’s always a memorable, healing experience.
George does such a great job ! He is very professional! I get tension headaches with neck and back pain . Every time I leave a 60 min deep tissue massage with him , I feel SO much better !!

Great for sciatica and muscular pain management. Andrew listens to your issues and asks questions to get you the best diagnosis and treatment. Also, if needed will supply you with the necessary Formula of TCM to keep you feeling GREAT. I'm a regular customer, and I will be for life. AMAZING! A few people told me to try acupuncture for the tendinitis in my wrist, I reluctantly went as I am not a huge fan of needles & did not know much about the practice. Each practitioner has their own style but I absolutely LOVE Kristinna. The results for my tendinitis are not was I was hoping for, but the effects of the acupuncture are amazing.
