“I've been at Raleigh Yoga Center off and on for about 15 years. I began attending because I was working toward a certification program to teach children's yoga, and the program required some basic Iyengar training and knowledge. The teachers are fantastic, top notch. You will find few other yoga practitioners in the area who have such extensive knowledge of anatomy and the science of yoga. I enjoy classes with Jane and Kirsten. Details to enter poses correctly are emphasized. You will know what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how it will help you. Of course modifications are available and encouraged, as yoga should always offer. Yoga truly is for everyone.“

“Love, love, love his studio and all of the instructors! I first went to this studio about 3-4 years ago. I liked it then but it's not real close to my home so I went to classes held in my community center which were free because of my HOA's. When I moved I had to find a new studio and remembered Blue Lotus and I am so glad that I did! The instructors are very knowledgeable and it is a very nurturing place. I have tried Vinyasa once a week and tonight I am going for the second time to a stretch and release class. My experiences have always been relaxing, challenging, and of course nurturing. It still is not the closest studio to me but well worth the drive. I might add that I am an older practitioner but have never felt out of place!“

“The 45-minute hot yoga class is my go-to, and it's the perfect break during the workday. Emily is my favorite instructor, as her sequence is constantly evolving and challenging my body. My only complaint is how crowded the classes are in January & February, though I've had a wonderful experience in their studio. I love the convenience within North Hills too!“
