Dentists in New Bern

“If anyone is looking for a dental practice, I don't recommend going to Bear Town Dental. Dr. Hand was our dentist for many years. He retired, I think, 2 years ago. We were told "Dr. Carlyle" was taking over upon his retirement. Well, I have yet to meet anyone named Dr. Carlyle and each time a member of our family has gone to get dental care, there has been a revolving door of staff. Today, my son had an appointment at 1545. I called the office to say we may be a couple of minutes late, but were on the way. The completely unprofessional employee, Kelly, who answered the phone, told me if I wasn't there in 4 minutes they were going to cancel. It was 1537. The appointment wasnt for 8 more minutes. So, they were going to cancel the appointment when we weren't even late? If ever I needed a reason to switch, she made it very clear, in my opinion, that Bear Town Dental does not value their patients and does not have a welcoming home town feel. My family and I will not be returning to this office.“

I have been going to dentist all my life naturally LOL I've had many dentists working my mouth I have never ever ever had an experience like I've had today.dr.elia and her assistant or top notch professional oh my God I don't know what to say what an experience I went in to get two feelings done while she was in there she noticed near the end there was one more feeling that she felt she could take care of what I was there she consulted me she consulted her assistant we all agreed why not the novocaine is still working she was confident calm and professional so she managed to do three with one visit wow I've never had that done before but she was so confident and I could definitely feel that energy coming from her she has a calming energy and a confident energy and that my friends goes a long ways in my book even when three quarters of the way through the procedure my gums decided yo I've had enough they started to bleed pretty bad at least in my mind but she was like calm and confident stop what she was doing got the bleeding under control and away we went finished it up no pain at all to the entire thing I don't know her hands are gifted her assistant is gifted his office is extremely lucky to have a team like that I can't say anything about the rest of the teams in the office this is only my second time there in less than a month but I can guarantee you this I will not be going anywhere else and I will be scheduling my appointments around her schedule and while I was on my mind don't let me forget about the young lady who took care of me on my very first visit and did the cleaning for me she was very professional too an extremely sweet and calm and of course good energy I think good energy works for the entire office very impressed“
