“This was by far the best eyecare/eyewear experience that I've ever had anywhere before in my life. I came into Visionworks in Knightdale expecting a regular routine eye exam and to purchase a pair of glasses. I was warmly greeted by Ava, the manager as soon as I entered the store. I arrived early for my appointment so she started showing me their wide selection of frames until it was time for my appointment. She was very helpful and explained my insurance allowances thoroughly and quickly convinced me into picking out not one but two pairs of frames. The eye exam was extremely thorough, but admittedly, I was a little skeptical when I found out the doctor was going to be virtual. Once it began, my worries were quickly put to ease. The doctor was great and very patient with me considering I hadn't had my vision checked in quite sometime, and it took some time to get my prescription honed in. This is where the service went to the next level. After selecting my frames and going through all the options for my lenses with Ava, she began to ring me up. I gave her my card for payment and she swiped it. The transaction authorized but wasn't captured by their system. She asked for my card again and swiped it again. I wanted to make sure I wasn't charged twice for my purchase so I checked my account on my phone. Sure enough I had been charged twice. Liz, a visiting manager, and Ava immediately were very apologetic and jumped into action with their tech support to try and get one of the authorizations canceled and return the money to my account. Unfortunately they found out that there was no way for the authorization to be reversed. I contacted my bank and they were also not able to reverse the authorization. Ava and Liz were so apologetic and reassured me that they were going to take care of the situation for me. After exhausting all other options they did something I never imagined. They refunded my entire transaction and told me that my glasses were going to be free. The error wasn't even their fault. I couldn't believe it. I've never had someone at a company treat me with such respect. I was more than amazed by their customer service. After refunding my transaction, Ava let me know that my glasses may take a few extra days because of the 4th of July, but they ended up coming in ahead of schedule. I couldn't be happier with my two new pairs of glasses. They're amazing. Ava and her entire staff were simply amazing. Visionworks in Knightdale will be the only place that gets my eyecare/eyewear business from here on out. They earned my respect and loyalty. Thank you again Ava and staff. You're the best!“
