I’ve been seeing Dr. Handschumacher for 10 years and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care he has provided.I have a rare prescription with astigmatism in both eyes and was diagnosed with narrow angle glaucoma and had to have laser surgery performed by a specialist.I feel like a have received great care spanning many years. Dr. Handschumacher and his staff have been knowledgeable and have earned my trust countless times over. I’ve been referring new patients for years!

They got me through the exam and eyeglass selection smoothly and efficiently. Very courteous and helped me patiently by explaining all the options when selecting my glasses. I will definitely go back again.

My visit with Family Eye Care Center was excellent. No waiting time. Everybody was courteous, thorough and professional. Dr. Handschumacher took enough time with me and encouraged questions. I would definitely recommend them.

We are a local, independently owned eye care office that offers comprehensive eye exams, contacts, and glasses. We also offer treatments for difficult eye conditions not found at other eye care centers such as contacts for Keratoconus, treatment options for Migraine Headaches and dizziness, and Neuro-lenses for chronic eye fatigue and eye pain from all day computer and digital device use. We also offer treatment options for Myopia Control for children, and Non-surgical vision correction options that eliminate the need for glasses or daytime contact lenses to see clearly all day long. If you are looking for a quick, cheap eye exam, we are not the office for you. We take time to talk to our patients and thoroughly address their needs.
