“I have "haircut anxiety" after a lifetime of going to salons and walking away disappointed. I have convinced myself I was doomed to forever be in a cycle of never getting a cut I was happy with, let alone one I was PROUD of! My daughter asked me to come with her for her cut and after much back and forth finally convinced me to get mine cut with her. My daughter scheduled an appointment with Megan, following her own appointment. I sat there with nervous energy, waiting... trying to figure out if I should just let her trim my existing look or get an actual styled cut. I finally decided to let her do what she thought was best. She, I think realizing my anxiety, was patient, kind and actually LISTENED to what I wanted. She cut it once, let me run my fingers through and I decided a little shorter would be OK.
