“I brought my very old glasses with me hoping to be able to reuse the frames. They were up front and clear that they would do the best they could to fit the new lenses in the old frames but that there was a good chance that the frames would break during the transfer. I got a message less than 24 hrs later that the glasses were ready for pick up. Wonderful friendly service, good Covid protocol, and my new lenses in the old frames are comfortable and I am 100% thrilled with every aspect of the experience.“

“I have been quite satisfied with my eye exams from TVO - Hwy 54 location, HOWEVER, I will no longer be ordering contact lenses or glasses from TVO. My son had an appointment for an eye exam on Dec. 15th. He needed new glasses and found frames he liked, so we placed the order and were told it would be approximately 3 weeks before they came in. I was fine with that as they should still have been back before he had to leave to go back to college. I called on Jan. 8th, after having received no updates and was told someone would call me with an update by EOB that day. Nobody ever called. On Jan. 9th (son is now back at school), I contact them again and explain I was never contacted the day before and they call back within the hour, but the person I talked to couldn't tell me the status. They said they would investigate further and call me back. An hour later, I received a voice-mail stating that the order had never been submitted, so they were going to expedite it and call me when it was in. On Monday, Jan 15th, I found an email in my SPAM folder from TVO stating that my son's glasses came in on the previous Thursday. No phone call (as promised) was ever received. I contacted them again for confirmation that they were in, and again, it took 2 days for them to respond (again via email). On Friday, Jan 19th (5 weeks after we originally ordered his glasses), we were finally able to pick up his glasses. The entire time we were there, we were made to feel as if our presence was an inconvenience. The person at the desk went and found the glasses and plopped them down on the table basically saying "here's your glasses, a mirror and a reading card to check your prescription. If they need adjusting, you can come back later.", as she walked away. I told her, no, any adjustments needed to be made while we were there. The frames did need minor adjustments to the arms, which she claimed to make, but considering she was out of the room for less than 45 seconds, I'm not sure any proper adjustments were made. I've been a patient at TVO off and on for over 35 years, so it saddens me to see the poor level of service that seems to have happened in the past year. Bigger doesn't always mean better I'm a business and I think it would behoove the powers that be to get back to a level of service where the customer is appreciated and not treated as an inconvenience.“
