ProactiveTaking into account sheer number of positive reviews regarding this business, there arent many bases that haven’t been covered.However, considering the in-depth perspective ive garnered over dozens and dozens of interactions with this company and the dynamic team that keeps the gears turning, i would love to throw a few more accolades into the mix!Javier runs a tight ship. Our 5 month old lab/shepherd mix just finished the 2 week board and train with Proactive. Our once uncontrollable dog now stays when we tell her, no longer jumps on my children, and can be off leash without concern. We now feel comfortable taking her places and less stressed when she is out of her cage. During the board and train we got constant updates and were able to accompany the training sessions for more hands on experience. We looked into several dog training facilities in the area and nothing has compared to Proactive. It is worth every penny!
Our beautiful Portuguese Water Dog named Shadow just graduated from the Proactive Dog Training - Off Leash Program and the results are amazing. Shadow is so much calmer and aware of his surroundings in a way that no longer sends him over the edge excited when he sees a car, another dog or animal, people, etc. He is an absolute pleasure to take on a walk (no pulling at all!) or simply enjoy outside on or off leash. His recall and obedience to commands (when needed for his safety) is excellent. He used to want to chat chase cars (bad) and people (say hello) but now he will watch them and if given permission to say hello do so enthusiastically. Enough about Shadow however,...read full review
