This is a one person business. I love that. Mako's a perfectionist with my nails. She studies them to make them sized and shaped equally. Although she has the usual polish and gel, I get Dazzle Dry. It looks like gel and lasts for 2-3 weeks or more. I am fine with a little nail growth because it doesn't chip like other nail polish. You don't have to use that red drying machine and it dries very quickly. It's really amazing. My nails are much healthier since finding Mako about a year ago. I fully recommend her and my friends that have gotten their nails done by her are now regulars.

GG's Hair Styling in Apex, NC is a great small business hair salon which offers walk-in and scheduled services for hair styles of all kinds. I've been going here about a year now myself and I've done so by scheduling with different stylists and by just walking in. I have zero complaints about any of their stylists, but I have found Nick to be the most efficient for my hair style. I'm able to get in and out within 10 minutes typically if there's no wait.

This is the best barbershop I have ever been to. I take both my boys here and the ladies are so wonderful. The prices are great and I have never left unhappy with their cuts. I got my brows waxed, tinted, and laminated yesterday for the first time and I will absolutely be back! I’ve had my brows laminated many times by different people but my experience with Alejandra was the best. Alejandra instinctively knew exactly what I wanted. She tinted my brows lightly, shaped them naturally, and my brow hairs are truly laminated. Folks in the past have been unable to get my brow hairs all the way relaxed and to lay flat since they’re a little curly and unruly. Alejandra definitely knows what she’s doing! And she worked quickly. She’s easy to talk to as well.

All Max did the plumbing on our new home with Lennar. Larry came out to install a flo-meter device that was on back order and happily troubleshooted a plumbing issue with our toilet and dishwasher while here. Southern Hardwood with James and Paul did an absolute amazing job on our older house. Refinishing a set of hardwood floors in 2 x bedrooms, hallway, and large dining room after years of multiple owners, dogs, carpet. They restored the original flooring, removing stains, nails, etc. We went with a slightly darker stain that really made the wood "pop" when they finished. Our floors look wonderful and we would recommend Southern Hardwood for any wood floor restoration. M

Wake Remodeling reworked our small screened-in porch to a beautiful 3-seasons room that is twice the size. We use this space FAR more now than we ever did before. It's gorgeous. ... And, Luke was right, we are indeed glad we added the heated floors.
After that project was done, the real work began - transforming our kitchen from the bane of our living space to an absolutely gorgeous kitchen. With their guidance, we expanded the size of the kitchen in a way we did not think was possible - by taking some space from our garage. Yes, we lost a small space in our garage, but it was totally worth it as we finally have a kitchen worthy of entertaining.

Carolina Exteriors replaced our old Masonite siding with Hardiplank siding. They also replaced all of our windows and installed new gutters with gutter guards. The house looks great! Communication, in the beginning, was severely lacking with the production manager. He was unresponsive and that was frustrating. It improved greatly once the job started. Our project manager was onsite every day and provided daily updates. Any concerns were addressed quickly. I would and have recommended them to others.

We were referred to Showcase Design by friends of ours that had their kitchen updated by Showcase Design’s owner Jill Englert. We were very happy with how they handled and oversaw our project. The countertop installation, plumbing & backsplash was flawless and all promises kept. 'Always' onsite when promised. The only disappointment was on ourselves because of our indecisiveness on countertop and backsplash choices.
Jill was very patient with a positive perspective. The final project blew us away. Jill & Kelsey consistently went the extra mile. We hear of reno projects that have been started only to have contractors go out of business or leave town with deposit money. Showcase Design is a firm that has been in this business for decades. I’m not a customer, I’m a commercial vehicle sales rep with Capital Chevrolet but thought this was worth sharing. I went to Parker’s to showcase one of our vehicles. I asked an employee where the owner was. He pointed across the parking lot to what looked like 50 ppl having a cookout. Full on hired chefs and grills, steaks everywhere. I approached the owner and asked what the celebration was. He said, no celebration, I just try and do this once a month for my staff. How cool is that. Every employee was smiling and in good spirits. What a great morale builder and a great way to show appreciation to your staff. Other business owners take note.

I went a very long time without going to the dentist before coming here. Blue Ridge was such a comfortable transition that I started to LIKE going to the dentist. I don't know if I'll feel comfortable going anywhere else after the experience and kindness I've been given here.
The chairs and rooms are comfortable and well lit, and they have TVs on the walls and ceilings to distract you from any worry you might have during your visit. I was having lower back pain and a stiff neck. Dr. Justin was highly recommended to me by a friend. After some adjustments, I feel like myself again. He is super knowledgeable in chiropractic care. Autumn is his scheduling coordinator and she is very welcoming and extremely accommodating. This office has great office hours as well. I highly this office to anyone looking for some relief.
I don’t even have enough words to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Creech and Dr. Bessette for their utmost care and expertise. I saw Dr. Creech for almost a year and now I only see Dr. Bessette because he does my adjustment and physical therapy. I am a permanently disabled Veteran with Fibromyalgia and my body is extremely fragile. I was honestly scared visiting for the first time given my conditions but they have truly saved my life and helped me to manage my pain symptoms so I can live with much less pain. I recommend both doctors to anyone needing the best Chiropractic care. The amazing women who run the office are truly amazing too. I'm so thankful my friend referred me because it has made a HUGE difference and I'm feeling so much more flexible in my day-to-day activities. I highly recommend Advantage Chiropractic! Dr. Surbaugh has done wonders for me. I was considering surgery on my shoulder, but thought I would give chiropractic adjustments a shot first. I am so glad that I did. In a matter of weeks, Dr. Surbaugh has been able to reduce my pain level dramatically and surgery is off the table. Also, I was apprehensive about having my neck adjusted as I had a bad experience in the past with a different doctor; Dr. Surbaugh listened to my concerns! I am now completely relaxed about neck adjustments. Seriously this guy is that good!
I first met with Dr. Amy in March and provided her my medical conditions that I have been living with for several years. What captured my attention is she immediately said your drugs are managing your organs but not treating the real problems. After three tests she put me on a program to remove the toxins that were causing my problems. I have stopped taking 2 of my medications and I feel so much better, my overall health is significantly improved, and I am able to eat and drink foods that I could not consume for years. Fortunately, the compassionate staff at Apex Family Chiropractic were able to squeeze me in for an appointment, despite their already fully booked schedule. Love love love Dr. Reed! I came in 25 weeks pregnant with severe pelvic and lower back pain making it difficult to walk and do simple day to day tasks. In one visit she noticed that I had a severe hip rotation and was able to correct it, which helped my pain within minutes. After the next appointment it improved and my pain was almost nonexistent! I took my almost 18 year old daughter to see Dr. Strunk for migraines. She had been getting them with increasing frequency over the past year and a half and when we went to see him, she had been having some form a headache, usually turning into a migraine, for two weeks straight. We had tried other chiropractors, her pediatrician and I had scheduled an appointment with a neurologist as well. Before I was able to get her into see the neurologist, Dr. Strunk was able to fit her into his schedule. He took x-rays of her neck and head (something a previous chiropractor had never done) and we were able to see clearly that she was very much out of alignment. After one very gentle adjustment, about a month ago, she has not had a migraine or even a headache since. Dr. Strunk has also been diligent in following up with her to ensure she is still in alignment and has not had any more headaches. As a mom who just wanted her child to feel better and be able to participate in life, especially going off to college in the fall, I don't have the words to describe how thankful I am. I would 1000% recommend Dr. Strunk to anyone having chronic headaches or migraines and wish I would have taken my daughter to see him sooner.
As a massage therapist, I need to feel good to work. I feel Dr Case is very knowledgeable and has a gentle, effective techique to keep me aligned. I had a bad fall a few years ago, and she helps me to feel good and able to continue to work.
I've injured my right knee three times. The first time in 1979 for an MCL tear I was put into a full length cast from top of ankle to top of thigh. Second time in 2018 I had a partial ACL tear, meniscus and MCL injury. Had arthroscopy surgery done, plus physical therapy and rehab took 10 months to recover. I was able to return to snow skiing 11 months after the injury. Third time in 2024 I twisted my knee on a slippery surface and weakened it. Dr. Bob did an x-ray and observed scar tissue and unevenness of my cartilage. Given my previous experience of knee injury 'solutions' and my goal to return to snow skiing in 6 months I chose the non-evasive solution that Dr. Rob recommended. After eight weeks of treatment I returned to my exercise routine that includes a downhill ski machine and body weight exercises. (vshred.com move program). I've been able to do any previous activities, hiking, biking, for the first time mountain biking at age 70, yard chores including raking, shoveling and even removing tree roots. No problems with my knee after Dr. Bob's treatment. That restricting mobilization is not a solution. In my first injury (1979) the atrophy was worse than the injury. Today they would never use the same method of putting an MCL injury in a cast. Having arthroscopic surgery (2018) did help but the recovery was long. After 1 year I was able to return to snow skiing, achieving my previous activity level. Now with Dr. Bob the importance of staying mobile and active plus his non-evasive treatment has shortened the recovery time. The technology and awareness of new methods has improved greatly and I'm thankful for that! I highly recommend Dr. Bob (and Sara his wife) to treat knee injuries. they have been a pleasure to work with and I've added to the current treatment his functional medicine approach. Dr. Bob is a leader in the non-evasive treatment world, and I appreciate his and Sara's excellent care. Others my age are getting knee replacements, I'm going skiing!

Came here for a 2nd opinion. They were recommended by the rescue I got my dog from. Staff was very friendly. I do wish they took the time to look over my dogs records prior to arriving as it seemed they were learning everything as I spoke it. I understand they're busy, but I was coming for a very specific concern & my dog has a few ailments he was born with. So, it would have been nice if they knew those things before coming into the room. As, they do affect his treatment plan. Ultimately, they landed on the same outcome as our current vet.
Harmony Pet Resort was the perfect place for our Molly. She is 9 months old and this was her first time away from us and she did great. The staff was so caring and attentive and made sure she was put in the right play group for her personality. They sent pictures throughout the day and quickly responded to any of our questions. We are so pleased that we found a safe and loving place with caring attendants for our Molly. It was such a positive experience that we will send her back just for play days. I highly recommend Harmony!
My puppy got a very special spa and haircut today and she had a wonderful time with Wally. My puppy had a broken arm which made us wait 4 months without a haircut and her hair was in such bad condition that I was afraid to take her to any grooming salon because I always saw negative reviews about these places. But one of my friends told me about Wally and he actually came to us. I felt so calm because he met her and knew how to make her so calm and love him which was a real surprise to me because my puppy is always afraid of anyone she sees for the first time. But with Wally, my puppy was calm and happy because of how gentle Wally was with her. I went with him and felt so calm. Wally put so much effort into her and she came back to me feeling so relaxed and happy like she came from a Hollywood spa and she smelled amazing and her hair was cut like she was ready to participate in a dog show and she was so happy and relaxed and this is the most important thing to me because she is a sweet baby, I really can't thank Wally enough you did an amazing job today with Daisy and we are so grateful for your effort and we will always wait for you to make Daisy beautiful and different
They are so wonderful with our newfoundland dog. She always looks good and smells much better after they bathe and groom her. She hates her feet done and they are so patient with her and get it accomplished.

A friend recommended Jamie to me two years ago for back pain. I have gone weekly ever since. It has truly been one of the best things for my body. Jamie has been so helpful and patient, and always structures classes based on my needs.
Most recently, I broke my shoulder blade and lost most of the mobility in the joint. I was going to physical therapy without a ton of improvement. I started Pilates again- not being sure if I would be able to do it, but Jamie went above and beyond making sure the classes were easing my shoulder back into it. The mobility in my arm has improved so much that I actually stopped going to physical therapy and decided to do Pilates twice a week.
I highly recommend giving Apex Pilates a try, as my body has truly appreciated that I did!
I’ve been going to Pilates En Pointe for 2 years and it’s become integral to my health. I always feel better after I go. I can walk in with a migraine and leave feeling better. I love that the classes are classical Pilates and in small groups (perfect for someone introverted like me). I’ve learned so much about my body and how it works. The pain in my neck was so bad, I compared it to childbirth. After about six weeks of Sara working with me, it was gone. This was almost two years ago, and I am still flexible and pain free.

I have seen Gail for the Spring Renewal Massage and a 90 minute Ashiatsu massage. Both massages left me feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. I appreciate very firm pressure so the Ashiatsu massage was beneficial for me. The business is down a dead end road but signage is super helpful to let you know you are in the right place. All in all both sessions proved to be peaceful and professional experiences. I will absolutely be back for regular visits.

Last Fall for no reason my lower back went out while I was waiting to have major surgery for diverticulitis. During that surgery the position I was in, put a huge strain on my hip and back. The surgery went well but my back and hip were so painful all I could do was walk in the pool at Cambridge Fitness and even that hurt. Luckily for me Wake Med has a Physical Therapy office there. My doctor referred me for physical therapy and I started seeing Meredith K. I have other health issues and she was so patient and caring. My first few visits I couldn't get off the PT table by myself because of the pain. I think it has been about 4 months and we just finished up. I am walking 2-4 miles a day, I have exercises I continue to do at home, a small workout routine at the fitness center and the confidence to continue strengthening my core. I feel very proud of myself but I couldn't have done it without Meredith K.

I want to give a huge shout out to my PT Mary-Beth at "Back in Action Physical Therapy" on Kelly RD in Apex.
My sincere gratitude for her wealth of experience and her positive impact that achieved my goal, saving me from undergoing additional anesthesia to gain additional range of motion (ROM) on my knee after knee surgery in my 4th month post op. Not only has Mary Beth a kind, sweet and encouraging personality, but she is also intuitive to your needs and really listens to and knows when to push, trying to archive the best outcome. My Dr wanted me at a 120-degree range coming from an 87-degree knee bend. Mary Beth worked with me 2 times a week on gaining range of motion for 4 weeks and was able to prevent ROM, and getting me to -127 degrees, resulting a 40-degree knee bend. What an accomplishment! I've had 2 other PTs at 2 different places prior and have them to compare to. I can honestly say that hands down, Mary-Beth is the best!
