“I am a diehard cat person, so following Dr. Rumbavage’s retirement from All About Cats, I was seeking to work with a vet who I felt innately good with, to whom I could ask all the questions, and from whom my cat(s) receive thoughtful care. Two years on, I feel confident in Lakeland Animal Clinic! I find Dr. Emery to be attentive, knowledgeable, proactive, and gentle, and her staff to be warm and welcoming. I feel that pricing is fair, and—ultimately—that my cats are in really good hands.Recently, one of my beloved cats developed an aggressive form of oral cancer, for which there is really no good outcome. I was wrecked, but my cat received heartfelt care from Dr. Emery, and her staff, throughout the process up to his passing (thank you, LAC).Highly recommended!“

“I am so grateful for this hospital!! I took my miniature schnauzer to a different clinic and almost lost my dog! We currently live in Texas but are in the process of moving to Jackson. We decided to take Ziggy, my schnauzer, to Briarwood and it was the best thing we could have done! Ziggy needed to be neutered and needed several teeth removed. I spoke with Dr. Jones and explained to her all of my concerns from past experiences, she advised that she believed she could take care of Ziggy but there was a chance we could lose him due to him being an older dog (10 yrs old) but we had to take that chance because he was in pain and his testicle had become swollen. Dr. Jones was able to get Ziggy squared away and he is now the happy loving dog that we have always known. We have to go back to get some more teeth removed but we will wait until he is healed in a few more months. The staff have been so great, helpful and accommodating, with us in the process of transitioning. I have absolutely no complaints because she gave us our loved one back and for that we are forever grateful!!!“

“We love Dr. Johnson!! We have a 6-month-old puppy who we brought in for routine shots and check ups. During those visits, Dr. Johnson also noted a heart murmur we are monitoring as well as treated some allergies/itching he had. I’ve had one non-routine visit as we try to figure out the allergy our pup has and to remedy his itching. In every visit we’ve had, Dr. Johnson has given us all the time I could possibly want while still maintaining his busy schedule. He’s made my pup and I feel very important, never rushed and always heard. He has always given me time for questions and given detailed answers/options explained in ways us non-vets understand. I’ve recommended him to everyone I know with a pet. I feel 100% comfortable having my dog in his care. Thank God for good doctors who treat yours like theirs!“
