We did originally request bids from other companies but what set City Wide apart was they were reasonably priced and were willing to do what we wanted and not just a cookie cutter remodel. Whether it was a heated floor or a bigger shower they figured it out for us. The entire team (Matt, Cheri, Jim, Scott, TJ, Tommy, Kaylor and James) were professional and helped us as first time remodelers through each step of the process. “We moved into our home 3 months ago but our journey started 5 years ago when we bought the land and I immediately evaluated floor plan after floor plan across several different websites taking into consider where our house would sit and the views we wanted. About two years ago we did a ‘cold call’ and walked into Owen Homes and never looked back. We met Charielle on that first visit, worked with Luke for months on design, and then finally got to the point we were ready to build. There was no pressure. All pricing was very up front. “Tony came to our rescue when we had a painter fail to show up on Saturday to paint our garage - after we had spent the better part of 2 days clearing everything out and relocating items to our basement, patio, and house. Lawn mower, weed eater, snow blower, yard equipment, workbench and tools, shelves, etc everywhere (shudder). He came on Sunday morning, looked at the project and gave a very fair bid. He could have gouged us since we were desperate, but he is an ethical business person and didn’t. Tony worked diligently for several hours and did a fine job spraying the walls and ceiling of the garage, patching where needed. He can do so much more than painting, and I would hire him in a heartbeat for future projects.“

“The overall experience of building with Homoly was a very positive process. All the staff we worked with were very professional and genuinely nice people. The detail cost sharing is very beneficial to keep tabs on your budget. There is full disclosure of where the money is being spent and to whom. The cost plus methodology is very transparent, but can create somewhat of a conflict of interest if you are attempting to manage a tight budget. The selection coordinator role is very beneficial and well worth the investment. Molly and staff are excellent. The key ingredient in the process is the role of the superintendent. Having this detailed, driven member constantly overseeing projects keeps everything on track and issues addressed quickly. I think the dedication to this process in the Homoly process is invaluable. It is also key to have a good working relationship with this member. Wallace is who we worked with through the process and I am sure the project would have been much less successful and less enjoyable without him. The team is very focused on the process and how to improve it along the way. Variations off the standard process will typically need escalation before proceeding. We wished we would have pushed to have senior management involved in the some details subsequent to the sales and cost phases.
We love our new house and the quality of the product and service we received from Homoly. The ongoing follow-up and service from the team and superintendent are outstanding.“
