574 Prairie Center Dr Suite 155, Eden Prairie“Beautiful new studio (there are 2 rooms) with very welcoming staff. They have a great free intro class for you to understand and get to know the studio. I enjoyed my classes that I have taken for a workout that is easier on the body. I often enjoy a little more intensity to the workout (not being able to walk the next day style) and this is not that. It is perfect a day off for someone like me or a wonderful way to get back into working out for newer people“

11020 Cedar Lk Rd S, Minnetonka“Heartwarming. Healing. Restorative. I love the small classes. They max out at 6 students. Instructors are all very consistent in how they lead their classes: 1. Nice variety in exercise 2. Great attention to the unique needs of every student 3. Excellent cues and attention to coaching proper form without overwhelming students I feel like I progress in every class bc each instructor also brings their own flavor and vibe getting to know their students and helping them advance. Studio is clean and cheery. Equipment is well maintained. Instructors are extremely caring, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Notes for those considering pilates for the first time. Start with private lessons. Get the basics down. Then switch to a class that consistently has 6 or less students. A good instructor should be very hands on and have the ability to coach all students in their class vs just call out the sequence. pilates is all about proper form and fine tuning of muscles for optimum performance. Too large of a class and you won't get the optimal benefit out of the class bc the instructor won't be able to individually observe and guide you.“

8056 Wedgewood Ln N, Maple Grove“I participated in the Candlelight class and it was just want my body needed. It was focused on stretching and relaxation. The room was warm, so I still worked up a sweat without feeling like I was working out. It's located in a strip mall, so there is a ton of parking. They even have a locker room with showers should you need it. I had an enjoyable time and would certainly go back.“

11900 Wayzata Blvd, Minnetonka“Wonderful pilates studio with a great instructor. Pilates is a great low impact way to get active - especially if you are just starting out. And Bodiology is a great place to learn. The studio is conveniently located off of 394 with plenty of parking. Inside it has high ceilings, skylights, hardwood floors with boho carpets and a fireplace. It’s warm and welcoming space. Not intimidating and cold like so many gyms! The instructor, also a Catherine, is patient and really cares that you learn and take care of your body. She is great at explaining everything and matching the speed at which you learn. I really enjoy working with her! Check out her Groupon specials for beginners, but make sure the times work for you before purchasing :).“

I had a history of martial arts and also distance running, some weight lifting in college, but My training was stalled and I was not balanced. Michael’s creative and fun workouts were challenging and he had me doing things I never thought I could physically. He told me I would do them and I did. He is there with you bringing his indomitable spirit and enthusiasm. I’ve seen him work with clients of all ages and abilities from kids to grandparents. From fitness to outdoor experiences, from biking trips to climbing a mountain, Michael is equipped to help you reach your goals. He is trained in outdoor survival and tracking and will keep you safe on any trip.“

11648 Elm Creek Blvd N, Maple Grove“I absolutely love Solidcore. It is a very humbling workout even if you're in the best shape of your life. I love the studio gym vibe. And only 50 minutes he can get a good shake and sweat. I just wish the music wasn't so loud. Feels like I'm in a nightclub and I can't hear what the instructor is saying. The maple grove studio doesn't seem ad busy as the other studios so you can get in with class pass much easier, with lower points.“

I would would recommend going to Alison for any new moms to get help repairing your pelvic floor and any core issues!“
“I think I was spoiled by my taking my first barre class here! The lovely studio overlooks the lake and the instructor Isabel McNulty was awesome. The workout was difficult but not the sweaty, fatigue of cardio. It was so focused! I could FEEL it (I was shaking a couple times). It wasn't painful; I felt the 'good' burn. It felt so productive and the hour actually flew by. As a dancer in my youth, I could pick up the form pretty easily which made it enjoyable as well. The instructor was also top notch! She used a microphone, corrected our form 1:1 when needed, gave 'modification' options (this rookie needed them!), reminded us of our breathing, and was encouraging. She did not talk every second of the class, mumble or yell, and I thank her for that. Bonus - there was an option for childcare; we didn't use it on this day, but it's so helpful to know that it's available. Thank you for a great barre experience!“
