“The class always goes by super fast because you are just focused on pushing yourself as far as possible. They just put up a campaign that says "failing together" and that is exactly why I love this workout. You push to your limit in a very controlled way and you feel stronger for it.“
“Beautiful new studio (there are 2 rooms) with very welcoming staff. They have a great free intro class for you to understand and get to know the studio. I enjoyed my classes that I have taken for a workout that is easier on the body. I often enjoy a little more intensity to the workout (not being able to walk the next day style) and this is not that. It is perfect a day off for someone like me or a wonderful way to get back into working out for newer people“
“As a long-term practitioner of Hot Yoga and new resident of Mpls, finding a great studio was critical to me. Mpls Yoga is one of the best studios I have ever been to. Every teacher is highly skilled and brings expertise and wisdom to each class. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is wonderful - as is the beautiful facility. I feel lucky every day I practice in this wonderful studio.“
“Pilates is Magic!! Pilates cured my back pain! Alota is a great place with classic Pilates. These people KNOW their stuff! Highly recommend if you have back pain!!!“
“Heartwarming. Healing. Restorative. I love the small classes. They max out at 6 students. Instructors are all very consistent in how they lead their classes: 1. Nice variety in exercise 2. Great attention to the unique needs of every student 3. Excellent cues and attention to coaching proper form without overwhelming students I feel like I progress in every class bc each instructor also brings their own flavor and vibe getting to know their students and helping them advance. Studio is clean and cheery. Equipment is well maintained. Instructors are extremely caring, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Notes for those considering pilates for the first time. Start with private lessons. Get the basics down. Then switch to a class that consistently has 6 or less students. A good instructor should be very hands on and have the ability to coach all students in their class vs just call out the sequence. pilates is all about proper form and fine tuning of muscles for optimum performance. Too large of a class and you won't get the optimal benefit out of the class bc the instructor won't be able to individually observe and guide you.“
“Its a very healing space. She has many modes of. Mind Body healings. Pilates, gyrotonic, TRX...very knowledgeable!“
“Jennifer is an amazingly body positive and creative instructor. I really appreciate that Jennifer creates a safer space for me as a nonbinary trans person! Thank you!!“
“I see Denise at the Edina location and she is AMAZING. I didn't have great experiences with past PT providers, but Denise is straightforward and a great listener. I felt very comfortable starting treatment with her and have been very pleased.“
“Evolve Fitness makes exercising fun! Whether you choose dance fitness, yoga, pound, or any of their other classes, you will get a great workout. The instructors are top notch, the music is always motivating, and the other guests are great. Check it out!!“
“Wonderful pilates studio with a great instructor. Pilates is a great low impact way to get active - especially if you are just starting out. And Bodiology is a great place to learn. The studio is conveniently located off of 394 with plenty of parking. Inside it has high ceilings, skylights, hardwood floors with boho carpets and a fireplace. It’s warm and welcoming space. Not intimidating and cold like so many gyms! The instructor, also a Catherine, is patient and really cares that you learn and take care of your body. She is great at explaining everything and matching the speed at which you learn. I really enjoy working with her! Check out her Groupon specials for beginners, but make sure the times work for you before purchasing :).“
“Emilie is such a motivational instructor! I’ve never had such a great time going to a work out class! She’s the best!“
“This is by far my favorite place to work out. The Plymouth and Maple Grove locations are absolutely incredible - it truly is a community of people who care about each other and love Pilates! The instructors are inclusive and provide challenging workouts. All in all 11/10!“
“Very happy with Viverant and Dr. Ward Bowron.- The front desk staff are friendly, prompt, and competent.- The facility is clean, updated, and a pleasant environment.- Ward is very knowledgeable about a variety of ailments and treatments. He is clearly very intelligent and passionate about PT. He is also enjoyable to work with and cares about his patients. Highly recommend.“
“Wanted to try Pilates on a total whim and joined at the 4x month package. The classes do book out relatively fast, hard to get a time that fits my schedule for weekends and morning with the scheduling cycle - can’t use credits beyond my schedule period so they will expire. The 12 hour cancellation policy makes sense to me however a bummer when I have to cancel - my schedule is just wonky - and that hurts. I find myself excited to go to my classes. It’s a convenient location. Instructors are all different but amazing in their own ways. I am excited to see the new space as they’re renovating.“
“I have had amazing, patient centered care with Matt, physical therapist. Sarah is awesome for Pilates and Postural Restoration. They work as a team, coordinating my care so I can get stronger faster.“
