When I brought in my 90 year old Karastan my Grandparents bought when they attended the Chicago World's Fair in 1934, I was ushered into their display space and was shown a hand-tied rug with the same pattern which was created in the 1930's. They know rugs, and I am totally comfortable with how they are cleaning, but even more with how they are caring for my family heirloom. “I ended up having to cancel my move-out cleaning service due to issues with the movers I had hired, and Iris and Carl were both very understanding and sympathetic (and, bluntly, some of the only people to show me any kindness that day!)
