1710 MN-7, Hopkins“I have attended the Roots Fusion classes which are a combination yoga, pilates, and dance. The class is a real work out, and different than any other yoga class I have taken. I really noticed a change in my body after taking 10 classes, and that was important to me. The floor has never been "dirty" as described by another (maybe a few pieces of lint, could be better).“

“I worked with a postpartum doula from Blooma (Kirby), and she was a true delight. She was fantastic with my daughter and was a huge help. In addition to having an extra set of hands to entertain my daughter, she always checked in on me emotionally and physically, which I appreciated. She constantly made sure she was helping me or my daughter, or that the house was being taken care of. I would not have been able to survive the postpartum period without her.“

2657 Dupont Ave S, Minneapolis“Best Yoga studio in the country hands down. All of the teachers here make sure that they teach the breathing/spiritual aspect of yoga like the ancient yogis meant for it to be taught. The majority of the teachers here play gorgeous music during Savāsana that takes it to the next level. If you get an opportunity to sit with Matt jump on it ASAP.“

17760 MN-7, Minnetonka“The perfect low impact workout, I can't wait to start trying harder classes. The only downside is the teacher is typically describing the movement so you can't visually see what the movement is, but from my experience it doesn't take long to figure it out!“
“I have been practicing yoga at UpYoga for the last year and a half and I have to say that the community, teachers, and the vibe is phenomenal. I have recently taken and gradutated from the Empowerment Program - 200 hr YTT and it has changed my life in so many ways for the better. I highly recommend this studio if you want to sweat, meet your edge, take up space and feel empowered in a very welcoming community.“

574 Prairie Center Dr Suite 155, Eden Prairie“Beautiful new studio (there are 2 rooms) with very welcoming staff. They have a great free intro class for you to understand and get to know the studio. I enjoyed my classes that I have taken for a workout that is easier on the body. I often enjoy a little more intensity to the workout (not being able to walk the next day style) and this is not that. It is perfect a day off for someone like me or a wonderful way to get back into working out for newer people“

Every teacher is highly skilled and brings expertise and wisdom to each class. The warm, welcoming atmosphere is wonderful - as is the beautiful facility. I feel lucky every day I practice in this wonderful studio.“

I cannot say enough good things about the space, the practice, and most importantly the people. I'm heavier and weaker than I want to be-- and I feel comfortable and encouraged here. Julia radiates kindness. I love her classes!“

“Carpe Diem is so incredible. Each teacher offers such a different perceptive on the practice of yoga. Whether that be breath, or posture, of movement, I just really appreciate the variety of ways to tap into my mind and body. I also have a membership for the sauna, cold plunge and red light therapy. It's always so clean and friendly. I love this studio“
“Yess Yoga is the foundation of my feelings of home in Minneapolis -- I love teaching and practicing here. Lucia and this studio encourage you to be your whole self, always. I've walked in the doors with eyes full of tears and other days with belly-aching laughter. I've practiced yoga here in states of grief, joy, loneliness, and inspiration. In these gem-stone lined studio walls, I've grown as a teacher, a student, a friend, and learned what it means to be a part of an authentically loving and generous community. This studio shares movement practices that are responsive to the needs of Minneapolis residents and to the state of the world. We practice yoga and somatics for the purpose of embodying true connection, belonging, and body sovereignty, and for uplifting those essential elements of life everywhere we go.“

539 Lake St E, Wayzata“I think I was spoiled by my taking my first barre class here! The lovely studio overlooks the lake and the instructor Isabel McNulty was awesome. The workout was difficult but not the sweaty, fatigue of cardio. It was so focused! I could FEEL it (I was shaking a couple times). It wasn't painful; I felt the 'good' burn. It felt so productive and the hour actually flew by. As a dancer in my youth, I could pick up the form pretty easily which made it enjoyable as well. The instructor was also top notch! She used a microphone, corrected our form 1:1 when needed, gave 'modification' options (this rookie needed them!), reminded us of our breathing, and was encouraging. She did not talk every second of the class, mumble or yell, and I thank her for that. Bonus - there was an option for childcare; we didn't use it on this day, but it's so helpful to know that it's available. Thank you for a great barre experience!“

“Getting to the root of the problem is what Molly does best. Using a combination of body work techniques, she not only gets rid of the immediate pain, she develops a plan to get you dialed in for the long term. She transformed me from a limping runner to a properly aligned athlete. As a bonus, she's also a super nice person.“

“I had my first Ashiatsu session with Marne at Prajna Bodyworks and what a wonderful experience! Marne applies deep compressive strokes with just the perfect pressure relieving the tension in my very tight muscles. I was immediately put into a deep state of relaxation. Marne is very professional with a superb personality. She was very accommodating by offering me a second massage, upon my request, on her scheduled day off. This was very much appreciated because I had to leave town the day after. I left my appointments with Marne with such positive energy! I can't wait to return to Prajna Bodyworks for another session of Ashiatsu. I highly recommend Ashiatsu and I highly recommend Prajna Bodyworks and I can't thank Marne enough!“
“Nice. Dan P is a very good trainer. Both St Louis Park and Hopkins are well maintained.“
