“Prepping a house for sale of an aunt who recently passed away. Matt offered to go by with his trusty black light and give me an estimate, including if the carpet could be cleaned or should be replaced. Overall, I have NEVER dealt with a more knowledgeable person in pretty much any trade I've ever hired! Great communication, show up when they say they will show up, thorough, and follow through with a customized cleaning plan like you won't get with anyone else.

After seeing the extent of the pet damage, he recommended replacing all the carpet, not cleaning it, because the damage was too extensive to be able to remove long-term pet odors from the existing carpet (and he explained why). Then, after bidding himself out of making any money on the job, he STILL spend a significant amount of time on the phone with me talking about what he saw, why it's an issue (how pet odors work and what you need to do to TRULY get rid of them, which I had no idea!), the importance of fixing it before selling it, etc. He was SOOOO honest, knowledgeable, and helpful, saving me from a lot of potential trouble later. He was so amazing, I tried really hard to pay him for his time and expertise, but he wouldn't even take any money for his invaluable advise. I could tell instantly that this is a guy who is passionate about his work and doing right by his customers.

Matt is one of the few Certified Master Textile Cleaners who actually works in the field, and it is clear how passionate he is about his craft. He knows about EVERYTHING from cleaning carpets and furniture to household chemical products. He was FASCINATING and I learned so much. I have never come across someone like Matt, the level of honesty and depth of knowledge. He was so great, I am trying to hire him to consult on the flooring in my own house in another state because I have NEVER had a carpet company like him. He truly looks at each job individually, comes up with a custom plan for your situation including the products to use, how to clean, etc. He also puts an emphasis on using non-toxic products, which I LOVE. You will be in the BEST hands using Matt and Klein Carpet Cleaning.“

When I brought in my 90 year old Karastan my Grandparents bought when they attended the Chicago World's Fair in 1934, I was ushered into their display space and was shown a hand-tied rug with the same pattern which was created in the 1930's. They know rugs, and I am totally comfortable with how they are cleaning, but even more with how they are caring for my family heirloom. I'm looking forward to displaying this heirloom in my new condo. I highly recommend them. BTW, they cleaned the rug a couple of decades ago when it came to me.“

“I highly recommend Dave for refinishing your hardwood floors. We spoke with several companies, but Dave convinced us he would pay the most attention to detail and our concerns. We have a more complex floor - kitchen & dinette with island, pantry, desk, many angles, 3 round pillars, and inlaid brass accents. Dave really put in a lot of effort to get all the areas done right. He has honed his skills and customized tools to do excellent work. The results are great - our 24 year old maple floor looks better now than when it was first installed.
