Besides being a “detail guy” and an “hobby engineer”, I have been addressing problems in houses since 1970. Looking for the reasons why a door didn’t work properly, where and why a leak was happening, or what was causing squeaky floors and sticky windows. I have done the repairing, replacing, or installing of virtually everything in a home, on all vintages of homes. I really enjoy solving problems. My remodeling and construction experience and classroom training have been very helpful, but the repair experiences are invaluable and just can not be taught in a book or classroom. These repeated “hands on” experiences, over almost 40 years, have helped me develop an eye for uncovering deficiencies that are important to you as a buyer or seller.
