We would give 0 stars if we could. You are better off going with no home inspection than using Scott, because you would at least not waste the money on the inspection fee.Please note that his “errors and omissions” insurance only covers the cost of the inspection, and it expires after one year.We hired Scott to do a home inspection (November 2020) on our house we were considering buying, as he was recommended by our realtor. Scott completely missed many obvious things on the inspection that have (so far) cost us upwards of $34,000 in repairs in the 2 years that we’ve owned our home. This inspector not only damaged my home during the inspection, he lied about it to me and the prospective buyers. His apparent goal was to “earn his fee” by exaggerating any and all defects. From the first moment he walked in the door he was incensed that I asked to remain in my home during his inspection. No other inspector has ever had a problem with that. Beware of this man.
