I left my first appointment with Riley feeling way more confident about my brows. I’m a redhead and have blonde eyebrows and lashes and I was always afraid to get anything done to my brows because I was afraid it wouldn’t be the right color or that it could look bad. Riley did an amazing job tinting and waxing my brows & she’s helping me improve my brow shape and growth over time as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Loved this place! I tried a new stylist because I wanted some bleaching and Jacey had opened up a day so she had some availability sooner. She did an amazing job on my bleach and tone and styled my hair so well that I want to copy it as my go-to style even though I usually just let my hair air dry. The staff were all fun and friendly and the shop pup is downright adorable! Also, their sink chairs are way comfier than most. Great place to go!

I recently moved to the Lansing area. Based on the reviews, I thought this looked like a good place to get my hair cut. I was absolutely right! I felt so welcome and comfortable. It was like I'd been going there for years. Everyone is very friendly. Kathy gave me a fantastic haircut! I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to going back.

It's a beautiful salon with very talented hair and nail designers. It also has a wig salon for people with thinning hair and going thru chemotherapy. We can do special orders also. We have a several products for thinning hair and to keep your hair healthy. The girls that work there are very kind and special people.

I’ve been going to Kylie for almost 2 years now. I started on a whim with a google search because I was not happy with my previous stylist of 4 years. My hair is the heaviest it’s been in years. Kylie does an amazing job of listening and taking all things into consideration. She makes recommendations based on what I want and what I need for my day to day. As a nurse my hair is tied up most days and I was seeing so much drama he from that. We worked out an easy plan for hair care that has helped that tons. As far as my color goes, it’s amazing! She does everything she can to make sure there no dress or damage to my hair. I get complements daily on my color. My last appointment was before Christmas and I’m still being asked if I recently got my color touched up.Her appointments are very personal and focused on you. The conversations is great and so fun, you’re going in to visit a friend every time! Not just a salon that tries to get you in and out while they are working on other people as well. I called to make an appointment for a spray tan and spoke with Courtney. My daughter's wedding was out-of-state so I needed to tan 5 days earlier in order to travel. Courtney advised against it as my tan would be non-existent by the wedding. I so appreciated her honesty!
She continued to inquire about the wedding destination and explained the process to me in detail and answered my questions politely and professionally. Then, on her own initiative, she offered to check the surrounding cities to see who I could go to in Wisconsin to get a spray tan - making sure to check the quality of their products and procedures - to "match" J2. She then texted me the information of two salons and texted the procedures necessary to get ready for the tan. She also cautioned me not to get talked into more than I needed to pay for and all that I would need to enjoy my daughter's wedding day. To say I am blown away by her customer service is a great understatement!!! She was so helpful, kind, amazing - all without any benefit of sale at this time. To be sure - next time I need this service in the area I will be absolutely going to J2!

It's family owned and operated business for the most part. All the employees are very polite. It is always very clean. The beds are great. The work Linsi did on my eyebrows is exceptional. I came to her with blonde, poorly structured, barely noticeable eyebrows that I had to constantly fill-in with an eyebrow pencil. She has given me natural looking, fuller eyebrows that have transformed my look. I could not be any happier with her work. I have been searching for a long time to find a nail salon that actually did quality work and I have found it. My only complaint is that you need to plan on being there for a good portion of your day just for a fill.
UPDATE: the owner contacted me and made this right. They gave me a complimentary massage and she was fantastic. It feels like today most company’s apologize and say too bad so sad. It was really refreshing and appreciated that they offered the mak it right.
I am very disappointed in the service I received today. When I walked in for my 10am appointment , I was told the massage therapist was not in but would be arriving in a few minutes. It was that moment I knew I was going to be stood up due to it being past my appointment time but I waited . While I understand life happens, I was assured she was spoken to that morning and was aware of our appointment. Then, they called her right in front of me and told me that she , didn’t know about the appointment. I was offered to wait an hour for her to come in to serve me. I told them no thank you and told them not to charge me and left. I will not be returning to this place again. They wasted my time and my gas to get there.
The water was clean, atmosphere was there for an afternoon soak. Could definitely use an upgrade, but if the money is being spent to keep the water as clean as it was, then I'm not complaining. Will definitely come back.

Had another great opportunity to work with Boris gustav to get my tattoo, he’s done a few of mine and each one is exactly what I wanted. Very attentive to making sure you get what you ask for, an artist that actually doesn’t just do what THEY want and give you what YOU want. After a couple months the tattoo is still in great condition, bonus that I haven’t ever had to go in for a touch up either. Great tattoos, great humor, great energy. Definitely the person to go to for your tattoos!
Had one of my best tattoo experiences here at this shop, and it was recent. Amber Kirby is a tattoo artist and a piercer at the shop , she works conventions and does all sorts of styles and can bring your images to life on your skin. One of the most professional tattoo artists I have ever met and had the pleasure of working with. I do know they have other good artists,, but if you can get a chance to get in with Amber Kirby, I would highly recommend it!
My favorite thing about tattoo shops is everyone just hanging out and chopping it up, and not only does Fish Ladder have plenty of that, they have banter in a way where you can tell they all actually like each other. Oh also my tattoo looks excellent.

So, I came across this tattoo shop while looking for an artist last month in June for a piece I was planning for my birthday. The shop I was originally interested in was, well, very slow to respond. Not off to a great start...
So, I started looking elsewhere and making calls, getting quotes. Talking concepts, etc.
I got an answer on my first attempt calling. Was asked to come in for a consult, and I got a realistic and accurate quote for the size and detail of the piece I had in mind.
Cory hooked me up big time.
He penciled me in rapidly, allowed for rescheduling due to my hectic farm life, and worked with me from start to finish to bring what I had in my envisioned in my head to life in ink. It's an artistic piece of my favorite dinosaur fossil.
He was courteous, helpful, and completely willing to edit and add things as the needles hit skin or if I requested a little extra detail.
I'm super picky, and he gave me a piece that completely represents the image I had in my head.
10/10 will go to him again in the future. If you haven't checked out this shop. Do so. It has a great vibe, chill atmosphere, helpful artists, and a ton of really cool and unique artwork hanging around like you'd expect in a gallery.
I'm looking forward to the next bit of ink I get done here already!

Could not recommend Tom enough. Very personable guy and all of the work was quick and efficient. Price was significantly better than the competition. Others I’ve talked to had the same experience and their eyes lit up when I mentioned Tom Allen.
We had a main sewer line back up after roots got into the pipe. Nightmare of a time where we had to call a different company for an emergency snaking to temporarily unclog our system while we cleaned the bathroom and adjacent carpet one night after work. That company provided quotes for more permanent solutions and truly made us panic with how much we expected a fix to cost. Tom thankfully called us back after I left a voicemail and was familiar with the previous company and quickly alleviated concerns and fixed everything in the next couple days.
The work was quick - Tom checked a couple things out on a Monday, called Miss Dig and handled everything permit related, came out that Wednesday morning, and was done by lunch. He even was nice enough to take some of the leftover stacks of wood the township previously left in our yard after cutting some trees down. He’s a good guy and does good work - trust him.

I purchased an investment property and had shawn come in and inspect the plumbing. He came out free of charge and gave me a scope of work estimate. Estimate was accurate and he did great work. He even made a second trip to come back on his own time and fixed an issue we were both puzzled on since it was an old style shower valve. Dont go with the other guys in town they will rip you off hardcore. Shawn is honest and put my fears at ease. Never tried to upsell me anything. Just a great dude. Most likely best prices in town!

David Frook is your archetypal plumber. He knows his trade, and he's very careful. His pricing is fair, but not cheap. I have learned to entirely trust his judgment. I have seen him outguess other plumbers and solve problems which stumped them.Our condo association is moving in the direction of making him our official first choice plumber. You might be able to save money by hiring somebody else, if what you're concerned about is just the cost of the plumbing repair. For us, the cost of the plumbing repairs is minor compared to the damage to walls and ceilings caused by repeated leaks. So getting the repair done right in the first place is far more important to us than the specific hourly rate.Your mileage may vary.

I have had a backyard drainage problem for a few years. The township and county drain commission have not really offered advice or help. These guys came out twice, did a thorough evaluation and offered multiple ways to address the problem, some of which I can address on my own. All for no cost. I am a landlord and have a bunch of houses. I have used these guys for putting in new furnaces, and water heaters. They are inexpensive and get the job done. On repairs generally they will not over charge, but are not always available 24*7. Often it is better to replace stuff than spent a lot of money on repairs. They like to be paid upfront/quickly, but you are far more likely to get a good cost on a new furnace than other contractors. Top grade people, easy to work with.

United Electrical Contractors has performed all of my electrical work on my 1918 house since about 2018. When doing electrical work in my duplex interior, it was clear that the company excels in performing the highest quality of work. Their electricians replaced my electrical panel, installed numerous outlets and fixtures, installed dedicated circuits, electrified my kitchen in a gut redo, installed a built-in space heater, etc. Recently, I retained United to do a complete electrical job on my garage. Kevin evaluated the site, offered helpful suggestions and explanations, and supplied a quote promptly. When I was ready for the work to be done, they were able to accommodate doing so within a few days. Experienced electricians Cameron and Corey came out and demonstrated exceptional ability, as well as being a pleasure to meet with and observe. They not only ran a full circuit with wiring nine outlets, and installing an overhead light switch and motion sensor light fixture, they even noticed and cured three code violations of which I was unaware, two of which were fire hazards. Moreover, I am also impressed by the way United stands behind its work, and I know its work will pass inspection with flying colors. Finally, the price was completely reasonable for the work involved, and such permitted me to afford a greater number of services than I would have been able to with another company. I am completely delighted with the results that have transformed the space, and plan to always use United for my future electrical needs. I have used this company for all my appliances. My washer and dryer lasted 20 yrs. Only had to replace the computer mod on washer 1 time and my balance bars wore out. They fixed them. Now I just got a new washer and dryer so if anything goes wrong with them I will be calling G&W. All their maintenance people are courteous, nice, and tells me what's going on whether or not they can fix the issues. Not sure why there's bad reviews here because I have never once in the last four/five years that I have used them have I ever had a rude person they've been professional in every aspect. Had an issue with a used hot tub we purchased. Talked to Darren (sp?) who was amazing on the phone. He walked us through an issue we were having right on the phone. He spoke to Don (hot tub pro?) :) who gave some great advice. Great service even without them rolling out to our place and charging us. Will call them next time I need someone to roll their wheels to our place for a repair.

We have always been completely satisfied with the work. Okay, here's an example: This "old and tired" rug we came to own by accident (came with a property we bought) was used for padding a floor during a reno project that involved 7 inches of plaster/dust demolition coming down off the walls and ceiling. I recommend Stewart Pest Solutions to anybody who asks for a solution to mice. From the first phone call to the actual visit, I had a really easy and welcoming experience. When Thomas came, he introduced himself and made sure to put on shoe covers before coming in. The part that I appreciated most was him walking me through the crawl space, home, and attic, as well as the entire perimeter of the outside home to identify potential sites of entry and signs of mice activity. It definitely gave me a clear picture of what I'm looking for. He was very kind and professional, answering every one of my questions thoroughly and providing me with all of the options. Traditional medicine didn’t help me like Dr. Sutherland did. I suffered from eczema for years and with the right supplements and eliminating certain foods, I no longer have the painful flare ups as I did before. She’s great, and I can’t recommend her enough. Of course this isn’t a substitute for your primary doc, but I’m a believer in focusing on the whole human and utilizing all means to feel our best!

The most wonderful vet! We moved last year and are still searching for someplace comparable for our cats. Dr. Hoschek is caring, knowledgeable, and reasonable. I loved that we were typically the only patients in the building at a time, so you knew your cat was getting the team’s full attention.

They're popular, so getting a timely appt can be difficult, but they'll call you on a cancelation list when they can. Very happy to have found this vet staff for my pets.
Wonderful groomers. Our mini labradoodle doesn’t exactly have the easiest coat to maintain but she always comes home looking great. The groomers take their time to work with the animals rather than just shaving challenges. Our dog is very happy there.
They are all super nice and sooo good with my fur baby. They don’t push him if he’s not liking something they don’t force him through it like other places have. I know my pups in good hands even when I’m not there.

Each time I visit any other studio (nothing particularly wrong with any other local studio), I regret it. I’ve taken dozens of classes here and this is still the only studio where I’ve not injured myself during a practice due to the staff’s knowledge. All instructors have a naturally healing presence and lead their classes with an obvious sense of intuition. The studio itself is beautiful and there are natural elements incorporated everywhere. I’m so happy/grateful hilltop exists! ❤️

I had sporadic low back pain for the past 25 years. When the pain flared up, it limited my mobility. ORS helped me understand what my injury was (an inflamed joint and muscle) and how to strengthen the muscles around the problem area. Now the surrounding muscles are strong enough to support the inflamed area. I can now do activities that would give me a week's worth of pain and disablement without the resulting pain. ORS tailored an exercise routine for me to do at home. They supplied me with resistance bands. These allow me to do exercises anywhere...even when I'm traveling. The staff at ORS was friendly, encouraging, and helpful. I felt spoiled.
Christina did a fabulous job with my therapy. I highly recommend her. Also, earlier and later appointments are available which was super convenient.
No only do I partner with ATI for my work, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle pretty bad and I had to do physical therapy… so I chose ATI and worked with Sam, the office was very convenient to my work and I was able to get in before work hours as well as after work hours, working with Sam and Marcie. I feel 99% better and it was just awesome working with them I would suggest this therapy office for multiple kinds of injuries or rehabilitation thanks again !
