It took three years after my double mastectomy to process the emotional impact of losing body parts that had nurtured my two children and brought me joy. I had heard of the possibility of tattoos, but I didn't have the courage or drive to pursue another painful procedure. After I had my 4th clear scan, I decided I to look around and found Bea at CosMed.ink. We made an immediate connection and I felt ready to schedule right away because of her warmth and understanding. She put my fears at ease because she is both professional and authentic and truly cares about her mission. She also told me about Ink for Pink a nonprofit that helps cover the cost of reconstructive tattoos for women like me. I was especially moved when I learned other survivors were paying it forward. Bea's work was transformative and within a week I realized with surprise that I was happy to look in the mirror again after a few years of avoiding it. I felt like myself. The whole process of working with Bea was empowering and meaningful. Best of all, it wasn't painful! I couldn't have imagined I would get to see my 14 year old daughter graduate at 18 this year. I'm proud of persevering and continuing to support her throughout all of this. We hired One Stop Rentals for our October 2024 wedding in Southern Maine. We worked primarily with Olivia, who was such a pleasure, professional, and friendly throughout the entire process. They were beyond accommodating when it came to to pick up and drop off times at our Airbnb and were more than happy to edit quotes when we changed our mind on some items. Despite a few hiccups (a table showing up with a broken leg) and us not having service to get their phone calls upon arrival - they were still able to deliver and make sure we were set up in time. I cannot recommend them enough!

I've seen Carolyn for over 25 years now and she is superlative in every way! I have had, over the years, rare times when the acrylic on a nail has popped off or I damaged the nail so that the acrylic had to be removed and my natural nail was in perfect shape! Carolyn has always been meticulous about the integrity of the products she uses and she brings artistry to her polishing. I love her as the fine person she is and respect her for her knowledge, skills and talent. I highly recommend A Perfect 10 nail salon!
I have gone to Lina's recommended by one of my coworkers, and I am so happy that they did. Lina and her staff make you feel very welcomed everytime you walk through the door. We are from out of town and had time before our flight home. I searched google reviews for salons near me and they were close and had the best rating. I said let’s give it a try and hope for the best, I called and they could fit me in right away. We got gel french pedis and they were great. Basic pedicure even includes Hot stones. I’m particular about my polish and it was done perfect the first time ! I plan on visiting again when I come back to town
I'm in a wheelchair and they accommodated to my needs great!! They were polite, and even gave me a massage with lotion, on my hands and arms. They did a great job on my nails as well. I will be going back. Sorry my video isnt that great

I’ve been going to Nail Co. For about a year now and I can’t recommend it enough! I personally see Ashley or Sophia for acrylic nails, designs and pedicures but from what I’ve seen everyone there is very friendly and does a great job. I really appreciate how clean they keep their space as well as their color selection, Ashley is always up to take on any design I show her and pays close attention to detail/ symmetry.
I took a trip to Portland Maine and got a new set of nails, Ben has made me and I very satisfied Such a good experience!

Today after many years of contemplating - I got a tattoo. Oscar was really great , informative and helped me understand my vision. . I felt he was very thorough in cleaning his tools , keeping me informed of what he was doing and how to take care of the tattoo once complete. . I am very pleased with the tattoo and its special meaning to me. Although I do not plan on getting another tattoo, if I did I would go tho Oscar.

We have had Tony and his great crew do a variety of work for us: from larger projects (upgrading to 200 amp service) to simple outdoor light installation. The work is outstanding, and of more importance, their customer service is outstanding. They are the nicest people and we recommend them enthusiastically.
We've used Hannan's Electric several times for varied jobs in our house and we've been so very grateful for the level of service and kindness. We will continue to use their services for all electric work. Local company and very prompt and friendly.
My husband and I let out silver labs dogs out on 8/8/24 around 2:30 am to go the bathroom. Next thing we know, they both came in vomiting and foaming at the mouth. Little did I realize, they both got sprayed by a skunk. We have done several baths and we even bought an ozone machine. Sure it helps but they rubbed their bodies all over the couch, blankets, rugs and dog beds. The couch is the WORST. We have tried everything. As soon as you sit on the couch especially on a muggy day, it comes right back to you! Finally after 3 weeks, I called Magic Carpet Cleaning & Restoration and they made an exceptional appointment to come up and clean our couch on a Saturday because it was wicked bad. Joe did a very hands on and in depth cleaning job and even educated us on the cleaning procedure! Thanks again Joe! I would definitely recommend Magic Carpet again in the future.
We had a major mold issue in our floor level basement and the whole thing needed to be gutted. Doug’s team were great. It was a LOT of work to gut a nearly 200 y/o basement (with a slew of surprises). They worked so hard, went beyond what we asked, and the place looked incredible in the end. I am allergic to mold, and with their remediation + a good commercial dehumidifier, I don’t have any symptoms.
We recently had a construction team in to have a look at a separate issue, and they were also genuinely impressed with the mold removal work. Thank you team for a job well done!

I called the company and they came within the time frame we agreed on.The owner has all the equipment to clean my couch, carpet and chairs in his van. They pulled hoses up the stairs to my second floor apartment and cleaned our carpet and couch... It didn't take too long but they did a great job, would recommend . The owner took time to answer all our questions And he did not hurry off, we got some great Mexican food restaurant recommendations from him, he was very nice and personable
I needed my place deep cleaned. My mother in-law only gave me 2 days notice and I kinda panicked. I called SUC and she responded right away. I explained my problem and she thankfully had a spot available. She did a great job with the cleaning on very short notice and the price was a little below some of the bigger companies. I will for sure be using SUC again in the future.
My floors were a mess due to several water leaks over the years as well as the fact that there have been as many as four dogs living there at once for the past 15 years. Van was reluctant to take on the project as he wanted them to be perfect but I explained that I was not loooking for perfect...just a lot better. Kim got me on the schedule very quickly and Van came in with his crew and worked for several consecutive days until they were done. They look amazing and in fact my friend who visited last night said that they look brand new! Highly recommend A-Z!

Could not recommend him enough! We were hesitant on who we hired because we have a waterfall counter and wanted to ensure it didn't get ruined. Matt was absolutely incredible, he went above and beyond to meet our tough timeline. He even did special things to ensure our floor would last and we were set up for success! He cut out door down so our floor wouldn't get scuffed in the future and evened out wood on the transition between what we were working on and our new tile so we could finish the transition and put the threshold in! We gave him a fun challenge of 3 different kinds of wood and he made them all match! The dreaded orange color we hated is gone and we love our new floors!

We just moved to South Portland from CO. Our dogs have been seeing the same veterinarian for the past 8 years and we were anticipating they were going to have a hard time going to a new vet. Dr. Rachel Terry was patient and understanding with the younger 9 month old pup and went through everything thoroughly with our 10 year old lab and took great care of him. I was able to leave there without them being nervous and they were very relaxed. It's nice to know we found our new veterinary so quickly and Dr. Terry, you are stuck with us now.
Classes here are great-there is something for everyone. Varying levels of difficulty based on teachers/classes.They also focus highly on alignment-I have learned so much on how to do yoga properly and prevent injury.Interesting flows-no boring sun salutations on repeat here. The teachers staff space are also great-not pretentious, and pricing totally reasonable given the quality.I started coming here when I lived in South Portland and when I moved over to Westbrook I attend the Falmouth location as well-It is right off 95 if you need to work it if you are out and about.I love the timing and flexibility of the class times- my schedule rotates and it’s great being able to go at 4pm, 7:30 am, etc.I highly recommend GP!
I first tried Breathing Room when I moved to South Portland in April and have been going to classes almost every day since. It can feel intimidating to try a new studio, but the students and teachers here are so kind and welcoming. If you are looking to move your body in a fun and accessible way, this is the place to do it!

Tennyson is incredible. Her demeanor is so soothing and her knowledge of the human body is extensive. She has educated me on not only why things are hurting me but how to prevent them moving forward. I originally sought her help for chronic tension headaches which we have been treating with cupping, acupuncture, and electro-therapy. I have had such relief from the tension in my neck and jaw thorough our sessions. However, she also introduced me to Yamuna balls and how to use them to prevent future tension from accumulating which is invaluable and something I can use for the rest of my life. Tennyson is incredibly thorough, thoughtful, kind and her studio is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. She also offers a wide array of therapies to treat a number of different ailments. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I have had massage sessions in the past but never have I had one where my quality of life improving so drastically. I had Jane as my message therapist and she was amazing with focusing on problem areas and areas I didn't know existed. Plus she was great with making me feel comfortable and at ease. It has only been the day after my message and the level of improvement is HUGE. I work from home and I can have proper posture without strain and pain. I will defiantly be going back because I kinda like having a better quality of life!
I was referred to Melissa by my girlfriend, who is also a massage therapist. Melissa gives a top-tier massage, and on top of that she creates an extremely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Coming into a quiet, usually nearly empty salon to see Melissa is an ideal way to unwind after a stressful work day.
I had my first focus massage with Dominic on my chronic neck condition and it was the best neck massage I have ever received. He not only listened to me about my ROM limitations, but he intuitively worked areas of my neck and shoulders providing me with immediate relief from my daily discomfort. I have continued to return to see Dominic for my neck focus sessions, and booked more time for my last visit so he could work on the rest of my body. I have suffered from hip discomfort for years d/t a torn gluteus medius tendon and wake up every a.m. almost unable to stand. The day after my massage with Dominic, my hip discomfort was gone. He is talented and professional, and has produced transformative results for me and my chronic discomfort issues.

Julia is the most helpful sports massage therapist I've ever found! I'm a rock climbing guide and continually deal with muscle knots and various shoulder problems. Julia at Kinetic has helped me so much over the last 5 years. She listens well and customizes massages based on what you want and need. She's skilled in a variety of styles and add-ons, and was especially helpful after my shoulder surgery. She's professional, kind, has a great set-up, and checks in with you to make sure the pressure of the massage is good. I love that she can provide deep, firm pressure to really work out knots. I highly recommend Julia and Kinetic to anyone!
