David Young Hair Salon has moved to 865 Broadway, South Portland, Maine. David absolutely cares for his clients. I'm an easy sell with his fantastic abilities. But let me tell you another story. Years ago, my Mother had a horrible experience with a hair dresser. She abandoned the idea of having anyone take care of her hair. She would cut and color it on her own. It looked okay. But hey! She's my Mom! After some coaxing, she went in to see David. She came out of that appointment in such a different and wonderful way. Her hair looked wonderful. But more importantly, she had a different vibe about her. She had been listened to, and cared for. It's just David's way. He was invested in her well being, and really cared about her hair. Additionally, David will be honest about what a client asks for. If his extensive experience tells him that what you want, may not match the shape of your face, or complexion, he will gently show you alternatives that work for you, while still honoring what your looking for. I have seen David travel to people's houses, when they can't get out (including my Mom). I can not overstate his level of care and compassion for whomever is sitting in his chair.
