“03/05/2025- I attended a burial for a dear friend. I had seen this cemetery but never really thought about it. The service was in the chapel area around 10:30 am, the flag was given to the son, there were a small number of family and friends in attendance. The casket was then rolled out towards the burial grounds. No horns were played. No military processional. No lowering of the casket into the ground. It’s was cold outside and it felt sad. “I’ll Miss you , my buddy”. His eye is on the sparrow.
