“Usually I would not write the review until the service is complete (I pick up Miss Kitty tomorrow morning) but I just have to let the world know what a blessing it was that I found CKCR. Miss Kitty's previous "owner" died in March and her family could not take her in. We connected "by accident" on FB in June, and we've now been together, slowly adjusting, for just four months.

Meanwhile, after several challenging/failed attempts to get her into her carrier so we could leave for a building exterminator appointment, and after cancelling several appointments, I worked with her treats for a week and she walked easily into the carrier. But the appt was delayed four hours after I had already gotten her into the carrier, and we would need to be gone from the apartment for four hours after that. I was so worried about her being in the carrier for so long that I started crying, quite to my surprise. A dear friend suggested that I findi a boarding service so she could be comfortable during the time.

Thank you, Google maps!. I was so grateful to get CKCR on the phone. Bridget called me right back and guided me through the intake process, including making sure we had documentation of shots & spaying. I had her records, but not everything was clear at first. Bridget was so kind and reassuring, as I was crying on and off during the conversation. (Lot's of old feelings to process later on!) She also suggested several things, like a piece of clothing with my scent I could bring to help Miss Kitty feel at home. I felt so relieved.

CKCR is less than a mile away, and another dear friend was available to drive me and Miss Kitty, with Kitty meow/howling and me crying on and off! When we got there, we were so warmly welcomed by Bridget, who showed us Miss Kitty's "condo" and set it all up with food, litter, and the "comfy" items I had brought. I also saw a fabulous play area and she assured me that Miss Kitty will be fine and she will send pictures. I also watched as Miss Kitty tried to dash off when Bridget opened the carrier, and Bridget simply reached under her belly and guided her into the condo. I did not know how to do that! I am so relieved and grateful, and thank the Universe for this blessed gift! And I feel very sure that anything I add to this tomorrow morning will be nothing but positive.“

“Two Way is the only business I would trust watching my cats. They are great and take the time to not only drop in on my cats, but play with them and give them some much needed love while I am out of town. Sara is one of the only people in the world my shy cat will come out and greet when they are pet sitting.

Our newly adopted dog had some issues with demand barking, not being able to relax, etc. Through training sessions with Susie we learned a number of strategies and commands (and fun games) that helped our pup settle in to her new home! “Just came to get my dogs nails trimmed but the man who worked there was very nice with my dog who hates getting that done.“

“Pricier than I’m used to but worth it. My pup came out looking great and feeling so soft and they finished her in under 2 hours. My only issue is that her nails still feel sharp, and I think I got the grinding service. Nevertheless, I’ll be returning.

Edit: I decided to go back to 5 stars because of how her eyelashes were perfectly separated for the trim around her face. Most people cut off her eyelashes.“

“Happy paws has taken such good care of our dog during day care and for boarding. Our dog loves all the people who work there and they clearly love him back. John the lead trainer has given me very helpful behavioral and training tips when asked, and they also recently started working on skills with the dogs in daycare. I can’t say enough positive words about Happy paws.“

“Really love central barks and my dog is really happy there. The only critique is the return policy. I wish there was a return fee not a new fee. My dog was gone for 2 months due to personal reasons and once returning he was considered new. All the trainers know him so he isn’t new to the the location.“

“My dog has severe separation anxiety, and this is the only place we’ve ever boarded her where she hasn’t destroyed everything she owns. She actually gets really excited when we pull in the driveway, and she realizes where she’s going; then she jumps out of the car so she can run to Mr. Whiteleather. He takes excellent care of her, and she absolutely loves him. I’m happy because Mr. Whiteleather is kind and the price is right. But mostly we continue coming because our dog loves it so much. Be prepared to show copies of your vet records each time and to pay with cash/check.“

“My dog and I love District Dogs Shaw. He has only been going for almost a month and he always is so excited to go in for daycare! The entire staff is amazing, sweet, and provide great customer service and they truly care for every pet that walks in. Roxy and Marquita are always so helpful and kind during every interaction I’ve had. The prices are great and an appointment for daycare is easy to make. You also get to watch your dog play on camera! Best decision I’ve made for my puppy. I definitely suggest District Dogs Shaw for your dogs!“

He took my dog within the first 10 minutes of being there, assessed her, gave her a shot to relive her itching and explained everything step by step. He was clear on all the meds needed and I didn't mind paying the price as I received wonderful service for my dog Nala. Bring your dog here for personal service. They are wonderful here and I really appreciated their staff helping me get her cone on her head lol!“
