Long overdue review but wanted to express my gratitude to Puptagon and especially their trainer, John for all the time and patience with me and my dog Candy. I adopted Candy in January as my first dog ever. Candy had been returned to the shelter twice due to various circumstances including her leash reactivity. When I first brought Candy in to be assessed for daycare at Happy Paws they quickly established she would not be a candidate yet due to her behavior, but did get me set up for 1:1 training times. I'm a novice dog owner and I realized my 11 week old puppy hadn't seen another dog in weeks. I went searching for puppy socials to provide him with interaction a critical stage in his development. This place was close by, uses positive reinforcement, and had socials in the afternoons on the weekends, which is perfect for my pups daily schedule. Registering online and providing his vaccine records was easy so I decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, I was greeted outside by the trainer wearing a mask. Puptagon is great, we take our pup there every Saturday for puppy playtime. We've also enrolled in Puppy Manners 1 with Liz on Thursdays. Gwen and Liz are both amazing at regulating play and teaching the pups to get along. It's good socialization in a good environment. I couldn't recommend it more.
