“For over 20 years I’ve been a property manager of a 36-unit townhome community, built over 50 years ago. During this time, I’ve engaged numerous contractors to perform various types of work throughout the community. This is the first time I’ve been compelled to write a review.

Over the past two years I’ve had two significant projects where I’ve engaging the folks at Harvey W. Hottle, Inc. The first project was to replace all 36 units interior main water shut off valve with new pressure reducers and two ball valves. These 36 units were completed in just over 32 hours. When WSSC turn our water back on not one unit had a leak. (Very impressive to say the least.)

Before they began the project, they inspected each unit and scaled the appropriate manpower to complete the project. Six teams worked together to pull this off in what I feel was record time. The crew were personable, professional, efficient, capable and just good people. I couldn’t have picked a better choice for this project.

Given their previous success we engaged them again this spring to hydro jet our entire sewer system. This system had never been cleaned, since it was built in the early 70’s.

They started in the basement toilet and hydro jetted the line to the main sewer line on our property. As they moved down-hill they went into every 15’ deep manhole on our property to hydro jet these sewer lines too.

Both projects were completed on-time, on-budget and to our complete satisfaction.

“Daniel came to our rescue because of faulty work done by a contractor we have working in our home on an insurance claim. We've upgraded to a smart bidet from a standard toilet but the contractor didn't admit he didn't know how to install it thereby causing improper plumbing to be installed. Daniel spotted the issue immediately then resolved the issue in 10 minutes, I kid you not! The contractor told us he was searching for the adapter needed for half a day and couldn't find anything. The male to female adapter was in the box with all of the smart bidet's things and Daniel only had to fabricate an attachment on one side to fit standard threading....

He also located and fixed a leak in the brand new vanity sink in there too, where an o ring was installed upside down and the gasket was pinched. That was what was causing water dripping in our brand new cabinetry. He repaired this in less than 10 minutes.

So I HIGHLY recommend The Drain Guys for all your plumbing needs. They're prompt, professional, courteous and undeniably knowledge in all things plumbing! Daniel was a joy!
