11036 Outpost Dr, North Potomac“Before discovering Renee's class, I was unable to fully straighten or bend my left knee. Even something as mundane as bending my knee enough to get my leg into a pair of pants was painful. I had been going to physical therapy, which tends to focus more on strengthening rather than reducing inflammation & balancing the muscle groups. As an active person, this knee pain was limiting & frustrating.Initially I was a little skeptical about the way the class was laid out, but I also figured what did I have to lose? Like so many other women, I had run the gamut of things to try to relieve the pain. I also liked the idea that I had an opportunity to learn something new, add new tools to my toolbox & take my care into my own hands. I suspended my visits to my physical therapist while I took Renee's class. After the first week I started noticing a difference in the way my knee felt, in a good way. As the weeks progressed, Renee continued to add more modalities regarding inflammation reduction, stretching, strength & mobility, using a holistic approach to address all parts of the body, not just the knee. After completing the 8-week course, I can now bend & straighten my knee. I went back to my physical therapist for an evaluation & to get some measurements. My range of motion & strength increased quite a bit. Heartened, I continued with Renee's exercise classes for a few more months. I walk, swim, hike, garden & even did a tree-climbing adventure for my birthday this summer. I am back to my active life & am able to address any problems with what I learned in Renee's class. It takes work & commitment, and it yielded positive results.“

104 Fallsgrove Blvd, Gaithersburg“I've been working with Ken for about a month now and am already seeing results with my flexibility and overall conditioning. I have issues with one of my knees and Ken has been really great at finding exercises that work for me. I feel like he really puts in an effort to tailor my program to fit my individual needs and challenge me rather than a one size fit all approach. I find the workouts are fun and just fly by. If you want great results and a fun workout, go with Ken! -- Matthew R.“

“Almost two years ago I became a member of a Life Time facility located on Seven Locks in Potomac, Maryland. With the guidance and help of the incredible personal trainers, I was accomplishing my health and fitness resolutions.
Several weeks ago, I stepped into a renovated Life Time Potomac facility. I was impressed by the beautiful and tasteful changes in the appearance of rooms on the main floor. This is a demonstration of the staff's dedication to the user experience.
The improved and new equipment, programs, and other offerings will attract more guests and keep current members interested in coming back. Some of the empty areas were transformed into places of multiple activities. A welcoming atmosphere with friendly and experienced staff creates a great place for physical activities and relaxation. Newly installed places for hydromassage provide additional benefits and comfort for the users.“

“I highly recommend training at Krav Oz.
This is my third year here. I've been to other gyms before and have attended drop-in classes at other gyms (during holidays or travels) after joining KO and talked to several members who (themselves or their kids) have been training at KO for over 5 years. So I can give some perspective on what makes KO stand out.
KO has a clean facility, well-organized teaching curriculum, skilled and certified instructors, different types of self defense and fitness classes. They regularly bring in well-renowned instructors to teach Muy Thai, BJJ, and Knife Control Concept seminars.
While Combat sports are intrinsically risky, at KO they emphasize training safely (teaching us how to protect ourselves and our partners).
Most importantly, I liked the community. The staff pleasantly greets you when you enter KO. If you are new to KO, they'll introduce you to other members. KO also organizes UFC watch parties, holiday parties and socials around the area, which helps build connections outside of training.
Members too are welcoming. I've made some good friends here. We train together, motivate each other during difficult exercises or days when you don't feel like working out. Folks here genuinely care about your progress.
Having a fun, supportive and safe environment at KO has helped me stay consistent in my training, learn self defense and improve my fitness.
Stop by for a tour of the facility, take a drop-in class, talk to members and decide for yourself if it's the right fit for you. If it isn’t the right fit, I think the staff might even suggest you a gym that better suits your (training/schedule) needs.“
