I would have to say the Ashiatsu is my favorite so far, probably the most relaxed I have ever been in my life. Rooms are super clean and set a very relaxing atmosphere, hard to stay awake most times. “Fantastic hair cut, and fantastic service. I've already scheduled my next appointment, and expect to be going back as a regular thing. I do quite a bit of public speaking and presenting to clients, so I am particular about how my hair looks. I decided to give Salon Jalore in Landenberg, PA a try because they are pretty close to my home. I called to confirm their hours, and because they were short-handed, the person on the phone was intentional about making sure I made an appointment, and assured me I could do walk-in in the future. It so happened that on Tuesday's, they offer a special deal on men's haircuts. When I walked in, the ambiance was calm and upscale. I was immediately greeted, and offered a drink. That's what I call an un-expected quality service moment. I was over 15 minutes early for my appointed time, but I didn't have to wait much more than around 8 minutes. The only stylist on duty that evening, Kara, was friendly and pleasant in a sincere sort of way. The most important part about a haircut, of course, is the haircut. Kara asked what I wanted, and then proceeded to execute as I requested. Without me having to point out to her, she noticed a couple spots where I have cowlicks, and made sure to trim appropriately so it would look even (no one ever seems to notice without prompting). She paid attention, was detailed in her work, and did not rush. I got the cut, and shampoo, for a couple bucks more than what I would have paid at a big-chain cuttery, but I got an upscale service.“

“We received a gift card for an hour of service at MassageLuXe in Newark. I got the Swedish massage and my wife got the seaweed facial. Everyone was friendly. My masseuse did a good job. She spend much time on my back which was much needed. I did ask her to apply a little more pressure in the middle of the massage. My wife like her facial as well. Here's a message for MassageLuXe though, find a way to make sure your masseuses' hand are warm. Feeling cold lotion or a not so warm hands from time to time throughout the massage is not the best service you can provide. My wife also was surprise that she did get any kind of steam to her face to open up the pores on her skin before the facial. All in all, it was a good experience.“

She always takes her time, does an excellent job, and makes my wife and the girls feel special and they love their hair when they leave.
