“On January 25, 2024 water began to back up into my kitchen sink and overflow onto the floor from another unit at the Vale Apartments in D.C. O'Conner Plumbing was sent to my unit. Previously, building maintenance came to the unit but remained outside because he refused to wear a mask offered even though I told him immune compromised individuals lived in the unit. On the other hand, I asked the two gentleman, Anthony and Dylan from 'O'Conner Plumbing if they mind putting on a mask I provided before entering the unit. They were kind, professional, obliging and gladly putting on the masks before entering the unit. They resolved the flooding problem and even lifted a large container that we used to catch the overflowing backup into the kitchen sink. They also emptied all the other containers that we used to catch nasty water in. I would like to thank Anthony who did the heavy lifting of the container and the great work he did in resolving the problem. Also, would like to thank Dylan who also worked to resolve the plumbing problem. I appreciate their kindness, professionalism and hard work to fix the issue I was having as quickly as possible. Both gentlemen had great attitudes, provided excellent customer service and knew how to be respectful in a customer's place of resistance Thanks O'Conner Plumbing for having such great employees. “If I could give finks mechanical 10 stars I would this is gonna be a long review fair warning. in July 2023, when the storms had gotten really bad, our air conditioner had stopped running. We contacted American home shield warranty. Needless to say this has been a nightmare with American home shield. They sent out a company called United air temp if American home shield ever tries to send this company to your house please decline and ask for another one technician came out and caused over $3000 worth of damage so try to make this a short as possible. They sent out another company American home shield and the company said there was too much work that needed corrected from the last technician that was out it was not worth their time, this is American home shield again so after they denied fixing it which the contractors can deny if it is a job that is not worth their time or is not feasible, and I understand that as dealing with American home shield warranty, he was honest upfront, so we had to go back to American home shield, and they needed a second opinion it sat in arbitration for over six months as they did not want to cover the damages that they caused never really had an issue with them until then since we have been without an air conditioner and our heater went out furnace excuse me and we spent Christmas and New Year’s and longer without heat after spending numerous amounts of money to keep the house, warm and animals as we had two baby kittens, and a big cat who was sick and I had medical issues going on as well and other circumstances do inconvenience they actually gave us a pic of which contractor we preferred we had dealt with finks in the past so the name rang a bell, so I instantly went with them. I had the pleasure of speaking with a very pleasant young lady named Maddie, and she literally took the bull by the horns on this one she got the ball Rolling on this faster than any representative at American home shield could’ve ever of done. I have the upmost respect for her as if it was not for her. We probably still would be dealing with this situation. Finks came out Very pleasant kind funny no problems at all and I had to say I am highly impressed. It was nice to sleep in a house with heat and it’s all because of finks they were actually able to install a new air conditioner and furnace in the same day and they even cleaned up their mess. No problems no question asked I recommend this company to anyone and everyone for people leaving negative reviews. Just remember you’re going through American home shield. They are the ones that set up everything don’t blame the contractors, thank you very much finks“
