“I am first time visitor here. I went there to get prescription of eye glasses. It is a friendly environment. Dr. Grinstead asked the purpose of my visit and performed detailed examination. I was impressed by the thoroughness of examination beyond my expectations and recommendations made for future care. Importantly the doctor’s comments made me feel confident about my eyes. I love this place and happy to recommend to others.“

“Had a minor accident with my glasses, as a screw fell off them during my Washington visit from Texas. Dr. Nastaran graciously help me to repair my glasses. Had tried a couple of other places who declined to help as I was not a patient. Dr. Nastaran set aside business protocol to give patient protocol a priority. Highly recommend the Idoc and Dr. Nastaran.“

“I am very satisfied with Dr Katherine Thompson and her staff. She gives a thorough exam, without rushing you and the exam Includes blood pressure screening. Dr Thompson listens and reviews my notes from previous years. Tanya and the other staff are all pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced and have worked there for many, many years. “Dr Le, is a very gentle practitioner, she cares about your eyes, she give you suggestions for improvement, and warn you about the sunlight, to wear your sunglasses, and remind you to always attend your annual vision appointments.“

Dr. Dunn is very clearly excited about his job and explains everything he’s doing and the context behind it (which I really appreciated). He’s super knowledgeable and this will make you feel at ease. I called before my appointment to see if they took my insurance - they did - which was a huge relief since other places in DC didn’t. I made my appt two days in advance but there were some even sooner! Highly recommend Dr. Dunn!I did have a slightly strange experience before I saw Dr. Dunn when sharing I didn’t have any family medical history since I was adopted. (I totally understand that some people don’t know how to react to that, I just haven’t experienced that at a medical type appointment before) Hopefully my response provided some good awareness for how not to react next time - and that being adopted isn’t always sad - and will be great to keep in mind for the next appointment when someone may have a similar background! All in all, a great experience.“
