“Another 5/5 stars: I had a small concrete pad in front of door replaced with a 7x8 foot stamped, stained concrete pad. The crew is highly skilled, carefully contained disruption of the grass/ soil to only very close to the work site, did excellent pouring, stamping, staining, and sealing work, and removed all debris. No damage to nearby stucco. Easily reachable for communication. Extremely fair price. Outstanding outcome. I highly recommend Barnhart Construction.“

“Couldn’t be more pleased with our deck remodel. We had no less than seven quotes on the redo. Scott and Alex both seemed very knowledgeable and were local. Though they were not the cheapest, they were far from the most expensive. However, we thought they were fair and we were comfortable with them.The bottom line is Martin (with Clearview 16 years) and his crew were great, and did a remarkable cleanup job. My wife can be a tough judge. Knit-picky is a little harsh - but not far from the mark. So I was holding my breath with the final inspection. But she couldn’t have been happier with the results. She couldn’t point out one thing she felt didn’t measure up. Like they say, “Happy wife, happy life!” and I’m a very happy man! Good job Scott.“

“NLT (Dave and his guys) just finished rebuilding our patio and deck, now with a super cool metal roof, and we couldn't be happier. Not only is the end result exactly what we wanted and built well, but the process was so much less stressful than it's been with other contractors we've worked with. Dave was on-site every afternoon. If we had a question or concern it would be resolved well within 24 hrs. If we made a decision requiring more materials, they'd be ordered while I was standing there next to him. There was never any mystery about how the project was going. And, everything was done within Dave's estimated time frame and under budget.

Also, not only were Dave and his guys (Rodolfo and Justin were fantastic) great, but all the subcontractors were wonderful to work with as well. In talking to them some have worked with Dave for a long time; multiple decades in some cases.

“I had Taylor Made do a major kitchen renovation, including building a custom fireplace in the dining room and replacing the flooring in the kitchen, dining room, hallways and laundry room. It was the largest update I’ve ever had done in my home. Of course, I had some concerns - would I be able to work from home as usual during the reno? Would I be comfortable with contractors working in my home for an extended time period? But my worries disappeared after the first day. I was able to work from home and Steve and Doug were so polite and personable, they became like friends.

Both have an exceptional work ethic and always arrived each morning promptly at 7:30 AM. They were focused on the tasks at hand and when a few issues happened, they quickly communicated them to me and kept me informed until the issues were resolved. When the workday was over, they always cleaned up before leaving. They both have years of home renovation experience and are talented at what they do.

Kevin showed up at least twice a week to monitor the progress. During a discussion on the custom fireplace, Kevin suggested dark wood trim on each side and combined with my idea of floor to ceiling stone veneer, the end result exceeded my expectations. Also, when a big box store didn’t deliver the stone veneer, Kevin drove to the store to pick it up. He also suggested adding crown molding and casing the entry ways to the kitchen and laundry room which created a more finished look. Taylor Made delivers in more than one aspect!

“Hire them! Now! Really!A few years ago, McGraw Contracting basically rebuilt our tired 1980s, tri-level home from the inside out. They also created a beautiful master bedroom over the garage! Not a day goes by that we don't still love everything they did!Every single room in our home had some major change to it. They created an open floor concept out of three small spaces turning it into a gourmet kitchen and tasteful living space with beautiful, 15-foot ceilings. The original ceilings were 8 feet.Each of our bathrooms were completely gutted; reoriented where needed, all new tiling was laid, and new everything else put back in. Each bedroom was painted, doors and closets moved, and had new lighting installed.They replaced every single window in our home. In the lower level family room they took out our old fireplace and made sure the new space was ready for our new gas fireplace to be installed. They also installed new flooring throughout the home. Even our garage space underneath the new addition got a needed facelift!Outside, they re-sided our entire home and helped us find someone to repair some of the brick work that was discovered to have a problem. They installed new, larger gutters. Finally, they demolished our two, massive, tired and worn wooden decks, reinforced the support structures, and built two beautiful composite decks with lighting and electrical placed all around them.The workmanship and work ethic that Joe (and everyone who works for him displays}, is seldom seen anymore. Their advice, their good humor, and their honestly made this massive project a joy to undertake. We are eternally grateful to Joe, Joe Sr. Todd, and Jr. for all of their beautiful work!We've run out of projects for them with this home...but keep thinking about building that rancher to take us into old age!!
