Last year, before I got into my in-season sports, she was able to set up and take us through a workout even before even getting her personal training certification. Recently, I’ve had the ability to work with Madeline now that she’s gotten her certification. I’ve seen a very impressive shift since working out with her before. Madeline is very good about focusing on my exact needs being an athlete. She is great about giving me encouragement, staying personable, and keeping high energy throughout the entire workout. “I've been working with Danny at Catalyst for almost a year now, and it has been far and above the best experience I've ever had working with a trainer in a personal/small group environment.
Getting started with Catalyst is incredibly easy - I had a consultation with Faisal, who did a great job understanding my goals and evaluating my current fitness levels. By the next week, I had my first training appointment already on the books!
From there, I was set up working with Danny two days a week. The workouts are perfectly orchestrated across warmup/mobility, working sets, and supersets to get the heart rate up. Danny is so good at pushing you to the point of continual progress, and the best way I can describe it is the sense of sustainable progress I've had over the last year. I not only feel stronger across all major lifts, but I feel SO much more confident and in control thanks to Danny's focus on form and various supporting movements to develop balanced strength.
On top of the training expertise, all other aspects of working with Catalyst - scheduling, flexibility, social environment - are top notch. I can't recommend Catalyst enough if you're looking to progress your fitness goals, whatever they may be!“

“I have been training with Spectrum in Bedford for over two years and they have truly changed my life. I had gone through several stints of joining cheap gyms and not using them and then to more expensive gyms that I thought would use more because of the amenities and ultimately never got into a groove. I tried some classes and ended up hurting my neck and back a couple of times and started PT next to Spectrum in Bedford and they suggested I try them because they do small group training (4 max) and they create a program for you to achieve your goals and around previous injuries. I have found the different trainers to be very coordinated, keep great records and are very personable and encouraging. I enjoy having a fitness coach/trainer that keeps me accountable and showing up on a regular schedule with flexibility when I need it. The small group training also fosters camaraderie and accountability to each other to be there to support each other. I am 54 years old and have gained much more strength and functionality that I can notice on my daily work and life. My neck pain is gone now that we have strengthened the muscles around it. I cannot say enough good things about Spectrum…. They have made a huge impact in my health and lifestyle.“

“I have been to a lot of F45s in the Boston Area to do the 7 for 7 deal where you can pay 7 bucks for 1 week. I highly enjoy this work out and this studio. The crew that comes here is pretty hard core and they have a wide offering of classes- as early as 5am (!) for the first class of the day. I loved their music, too (straight hip hop generally and no techno like other F45 locations). The parking situation is pretty good and there is a really good nail salon right next door for those wanting to hit a gel mani right after the class. I was highly impressed with the motivation and instruction this class gave me. I had a baby within the year and after 7 straight days of this class I felt like I legit dropped the 10 pounds I had left to lose. This is the perfect work out for mothers - 45 mins in and out and Saturday you can treat yo'self to that 60 min work out. I am attaching a pic here- I've gotten more and more fit the more I go. I did have to join the Somerville Location b/c it was closer to where I live in Cambridge, but I really loved the Medford spot. If not for the traffic I prob would have joined here.“
