I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for over 20 years, mostly by the same woman and although I have been very satisfied, today's experience was the best I've had. I love that you get to lie down on this comfy table, there is lovely music playing, the space is so clean and new and Kya is so sweet and inviting. I never thought I would stop going to my previous brow waxer but this is my new spot from now on! I will definitely be back and it's so convenient and close to my home. Finding salons on Yelp can be so hit or miss. I hit the jackpot with this one. I highly, highly recommend.

on May 16, 2024 looked for their web site because I wanted to recommend them to a friend and was horrified about some of the criticisms of Sean, the owner, and Adriana, his wife. I used Alpha Mechanical to install a new air conditioning and heating system in my condo. Sean was very patient at educating me about the options. I signed a contract in May 2022. It was difficult to get the equipment as it was during the pandemic but I ordered everything to have it on hand in case my AC failed during the summer. Fortunately it lasted and I was able to replace the entire AC and heating system in September, a year and a half ago. It has worked flawlessly and when we had a problem, caused by my husband, they came and rectified the situation. They are a small operation so it is not always possible to get them to turn on a dime but so far, so good, and I have nothing but great recommendations for Alpha Mechanical.

I came here on a whim when I decided, basically overnight, that I needed a big chop and wanted to find somewhere close by. I was nervous, since I was getting 5+ inches off, but I was pleasantly surprised by Mechi Beauty. Michelle was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Most importantly, she gave me a great haircut! I'm thrilled with my new bob and will be going back to her for trims and future chops.Side note: I chose not to pay for a blow dry since I was just going home and didn't mind having wet hair, but I regret that since I couldn't really appreciate the haircut until my hair fully dried. I recommend getting it dried with Michelle so you can see what it will look like and if it needs adjusting.

I really appreciated Jennah's straightforward assessment of my hair health and how much she would need to cut to get my hair healthy again. Additionally, she explained how my current hair routine was causing it to look dull and weighed down. She then gave me the best cut I've had in literal decades! And the absolute cherry on top was her explaining how she was styling it and that it would take less than 5 mins, all of which I could follow and replicate! My husband was looking for a new barber shop. We happened to drive by 1st Yard Barbers outside Watertown square, so I suggested he try it! He called and was able to get an appointment at the time he wanted. Even *he* had begun to be able to tell a good haircut from a bad haircut. As soon as he walked in the door after his appointment, I could see it was a *good haircut*. It was short and neat and evenly cut, nicely trimmed around his neckline, and with wavy layers on top. Not only does it look great now, I’m sure it will continue to look great as it grows in. I’m so glad he found a new spot!
Someone recommended that I give A Barber shop a shot, well I am so glad I did! I now have an AWESOME Barber only 10 minutes away. John is an excellent barber who clearly had a lot of experience and quickly adapted to how I wanted and needed my haircut. The other barber Breedo( forgive me for the spelling)seems like a very nice guy. Awesome barber shop, 5 stars!! Also it’s a nice gesture to stamp your card and the 10th cut is free!

Had a cut from Sam this morning and have previously had a cut from the owner, Janier. Pretty much same review for both visits: -clean facility -chill/polite barbers -asked and listened to what I was looking for then delivered with great attention to detail -probably the best value I've found for a standard haircut. Just as good as name brand hip chains without the overhead and fuss.
I had been going to the same barber for 20 years before I relocated to the Watertown area, and have always been super selective about who I've let cut my hair or touch my head. I had tried a few other places in the area with good reviews, but left with average cuts.
Then I came here. Johnny is legit, and there's a reason this place is highly-rated. He worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted, and he's an easy person to talk to. He remembered me after a single visit. If you're looking for a barber, look no further. I'll be a customer for life.

I have had a few lash lifts and tints at different salons, and Ivy at Emera Lash and Spa does the best job BY FAR! She is so meticulous with her work, so gentle, and the outcome is so much better than what I have gotten anywhere else. I also had a brow tweeze which made me very nervous because I had spent years growing in my over-tweezed brows, but Ivy listened to what I wanted and I know I can trust her to do a great job. I hope Ivy doesn't go anywhere anytime soon, because I don't want anyone else to touch my lashes and brows!

After the recommendation from a friend, I took our toddler and preschooler to Susan for their first salon haircuts. She did an outstanding job: the cuts turned out great, but more importantly, Susan made both kids feel safe and respected. Cosco Landscape just did an amazing job at my house replacing an old chain link fence with a beautiful retaining wall. Part of the job was making sure I had a flat yard when work was done and they did a great job. The land sloped quite a bit on one side but they built the wall exactly as needed and then filled in the yard. The crew was awesome. They cleaned up each day and all debris was removed at the end of the job. Great value for a great job. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them again for any job - big or small.

Dr. Alexa Shea relieved my neck pain from a small injury. I was in so much pain, and she was the only thing that I found relief from. Medications and massage were not helping much at all. Her experience and knowledge are unmatched and she shows true care for her patients. I highly recommend her for any of your chiropractic needs.
After loads of research and months of back pain and sciatica I decided to go to Jason and get some work done. I was self diagnosed as having my SI joint popping in and out (cannot confirm or deny!). But it never happened when I got in for my appointments. This was my first experience with a chiropractor and Jason put me totally at ease. He did a few assessments but we couldn't find anything obvious until the tail end of the appointment. Low and behold he realized I stand totally wrong, pelvic tilted under (which is rare) thanks to decades of ballet drilling it into me.
Jason was adamant that he wanted to see me a handful of times, fix my back pain, and never see me again; which was exactly what I was hoping for and is refreshing to hear. He gave me a handful of exercises to do at home and did some minimal cracking over 3 appointments within a month. Combined with some acupuncture (to help loosen lower back muscles) and stretching and 3 months later I haven't had a single problem with my back and sciatica.

Dr. Bill and his wife Shelley, have successfully run this chiropractic business for 25 years and like a fine wine, they just get better with time. I was a skeptic when I first came in for a visit, as I didn't understand how a chiropractic neck adjustment would correct my lower back pain but I'm now very happy to say I couldn't have been more wrong in my skepticism. It not only fixed my lower back pain but corrected other issues that I didn't think were possible (misaligned shoulder and leg, as well as a couple of other injuries from years of sports). In addition to this, both Dr. Bill and Shelley are incredible people and a joy to speak and work with. I took my dog to PetMedic Urgent care for an infected anal gland that had burst. They were pretty good. Just did a basic exam and gave me antibiotics and pain meds for the dog. It wasn't cheap, but not outrageous either -- $260 for everything -- but I thought they did a good job, so my dog quickly, so I was happy with that.
I had a great experience here obtaining an International Health Certificate (IHC) for my dog. The process was very straightforward and I found their pricing to be highly reasonable.
I can't say enough about Dr. Campbell and her staff. We have been going there for 13 or 14 years and always feel like my pets are in great hands. My dog can be difficult and they are patient and kind.
The place is clean, quiet. The massage by Joice was super!!!! It was strong and she knew which muscle that has problem. Especially the neck and shoulder massage, I have tried many massages around the world and this was one of the best.
Constantly surpassing “the best massage I ever had”. They’re so talented, patient, and meticulous. I do the 120 min integrated body work monthly and they’re able to address so much that I see significant changes in my shapes in yoga and performance on the courts, and I have less general aches and pains. It’s a good investment in my health because I sleep better and I’m more willing to get movement in with the release!

I've had a lot of massages and this one was different in that it felt like Wendy really cared about my body and knew what I needed even without me mentioning anything. The pressure was perfect, the technique varied depending on my muscles and the table was the perfect softness. I have been a client of Michele's for over 20 years! I have been to other massage therapists before her, at spas and such, but no one could ever compare to the expertise and skill she possesses. We often would joke that she "performs surgery" on areas of my body to correct the problem. She has "magic' hands, she can sense where she needs to focus her massage. Every session is unique depending on what you need. She also goes above and beyond to make sure you get a healing of your body, mind and spirit. She calls this the Julian Method. She will spend time with you to show you stretches, exercises etc... she truly believes in a holistic healing. I don't know what I would have done without Michele in my life all of these years. She has helped to get my body through car accidents, pregnancies, various other injuries, daily stress and aging. She is a dedicated enthusiastic healer and I am so fortunate to have her in my life.
I was very impressed with how neat and clean the spa was. The lady who did the reflexology treatment was wonderful. She was professional and caring during my visit. I'd recommend giving them a visit.
Such a gem tucked away in Watertown! The massage is always amazing. I usually see Gina or Hannah, but whoever you end up with will do a great job. It’s definitely not a place where you will get the same massage every time. They always cater the massage to your needs, whether you tell them what’s bugging you or not.
They will be chatty if you want to be chatty, but they will also not bother you if you just want to relax and not say a word. Gina, Hannah, and the rest of her staff are genuinely good, caring people who I look forward to seeing every time I go.
Also, they keep the place very clean. You will faintly hear others constantly washing their hands, and they use disposable table covers. I can be a bit of a germ freak, so those few things go a long way for me!

Graziella is an incredible therapist! She hits the target points to release tension without causing pain. Her experience is evident as she provides advice for how to stretch out tight muscles. Above all, she’s a healer and I came out of my session with no pain☺️

My therapist located all the most tender spots on my body and carefully eliminated all the tension. She also did gentle stretching and mobility. Absolutely fabulous massage!

Great experience at BSM in Watertown, rehabbing from a recent hip replacement. My therapist Jason was terrific, very knowledgable and empathetic. He not only knew which exercises were the most helpful, but also knew when to slow me down when I’d get ahead of myself. His treatment plan was geared to getting me back to my sports activities as quickly as possible. I would recommend BSM without reservation.
I have been going to the Culia Clinic for many years and can't recommend it enough. My symptoms have significantly improved and even dissipated. Roseli has a vast expertise and knowledge. She masterfully adapts her treatments along the way and communicates the steps in a clear and thoughtful manner. I went to see Matt when my physician had no solutions for an ongoing respiratory illness and fatigue. The fatigue was 90% gone after one treatment. I now go whenever my body is calling for an immune system boost! His studio is lovely and calming which addd to his magical work as an acupuncturist!
