Damien came out to service our water heater that had been on the fritz for awhile, But now It's working perfectly. We are a very busy dog grooming salon, so needless to say it was a little crazy ( hair flying,dogs under foot) when he came in. He was very polite explained everything he had to do and why we were having issues. We can't say enough good things. I would recommend Elge Plumbing and Heating to anyone. I have been to little hallow a few times and I have always been happy with the services I received. Firstly I love the vibe! The dark and spooky decorations are so fun and quirky. Additionally staff are always kind a welcoming. I love getting my hair done and watching the owner talk to every person who passes by and addressing them by name. They say hello to every dog and every person and it is just such a beautiful part of the community. This past time I came I got a haircut and a Brazilian blowout it was $265. I was so happy with how much work and dedication was put into my haircut even though it was late and I was the only client in the salon. Thank you for everything!

My hairdressing appointment last night for a cut and color was the best hairdressing experience I've ever had. Linda took time at the start of the appointment to sit and talk to me so that she could understand what will work for me; what would suit my personality and daily regime. I'm so happy, it's so refreshing to meet a hairdresser that cares about hair and isn't just trying to get customers out of the door. The appointment took a while but the result is more than I was expecting. The balayage color is wonderful, exactly what I've wanted for years, and the cut is still long, but it moves, its lighter, I feel younger. I can't recommend enough. Linda's amazing!

Every time I come to 968 the shop I always leave knowing I will look fresh once all is said and done. I’ve lived in Boston for 6 years and I’ve tried other barber shops all over. I’ve always felt that I can contribute in the conversations the employees are having with no issue if I want to and if I’d rather just sit there and say nothing I will do that too. I’m always asked before they begin cutting my hair, “what will we be doing today?”. They always make sure to be professional but also make the environment welcoming to those of all ages. I always seem to come back to The Shop because of the service, the expertise, the cut I get is always looking great and the good ol barbershop vibes are amazing when the employees are a great group of people who have the gift of gab which is always refreshing to find. Amal Niccoli is an incredible salon with fair prices that will make you feel right at home. I originally went to them for my/my bridal party’s hair & makeup for my wedding day a year ago and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. So much so that I am now a regular customer for hair and lashes, and have referred several others (they have an incredible referral program as well)! I see Colleen for my hair, Courtney for my lash extensions, and Angelica for my lash lifts. They all pride themselves on great work and are extremely personable. Lori, the owner, will always go the extra mile for you. The salon is literally right down the street from me, but I would absolutely still go even if I lived an hour away (and I know other people who literally do drive 1hr+ to go there!). I brought my two daughters for a hair cut, they are 2 and 7. First it is so hard to find a hair salon that take kids, or those they do, you need to book months in advance. I just walked in Renaissance, could get an appointment for following week. owner was so kind and patient with the kids, the price was absolutely reasonable, compare to other place. I first came here for a consultation for a pink balayage, and then returned for my actual appointment. Due to a scheduling miscommunication with the stylist with whom I had originally booked, Michelle, the owner, offered to do my balayage (with some help from another stylist, Ashley). She did such an amazing job!!! I've been getting some variation of pink balayages/highlights done for the past 6 years, and I've never been this happy with the result.
On top of the excellent job she did on my hair, Michelle even bought me some hair dye and masks so I could revive my color at home as a consolation for the scheduling issue that was not even her fault--truly a class act. She also provided so much useful information while she worked on my hair! You can tell she cares deeply about her craft.

Joe was great scheduling an appointment with me - I had a problem with my boiler, so he sent his associate Steve to check on it the very next day. Steve did a great job figuring out the problem; he made sure that we had enough hot water before the next appointment, and a week later he fixed the problem. Steve offered few valuable maintenace tips for me to pay attention to. I am very satisfied with this service, and I would highly recommend this company. Keep up a good work!

These days, It is exceptionally rare to find people who take a great deal of pride in their work. To find a reliable general contractor, a builder to build a home for you and your family to live for years and years, that is one of the hardest things. Most builders take shortcuts, and their workmanship always leaves much to be desired.
I purchased a condo built by NorthAmerica Dev. LLC in Jan 2020. They had flipped an old building to create these ultramodern, sleek, sturdily built homes, with a great deal of attention to architectural details and esthetics.
I have been happy there. Everything worked as expected. For the first two years the general foreman and his crew(s) came by to take care of minor things under warranty. When appliances did not work they took care of it themselves, without asking me to contact Fisher-Paykel.
To this day, everyone who walks in the house is impressed about how well built the house is. Also, when I tel them that even after 4 years, I can still call them and they help with some details, for example, with the HVAC or wind damaged roof etc, everyone tells me that this is the most incredible example of builders taking pride in their work.
Having seen how they operate, I don't think that my experience is unique. These people take their work seriously and they are proud to own their work.

I am so pleased of the services I've received at Lorna Lally, DMD. I am Dr. Dautaj patient and she has done an amazing job with my super natural looking veneers and overall dental care. The communication is great and there are no surprises. The doctor provides detailed descriptions about the services needed and plans are discussed prior anything is performed. There has been never any surprise charges or fees. The hygienist and the doctors are empathetic and always make sure you are comfortable during procedures. The office staff is very friendly, accommodating and overall pleasant. The climic is aesthetically beautiful and there's parking available in the back of the building. I have nothing but great things to say about this dental office and I will 100% recommend it!!

About year and half ago, I was in so much neck discomfort and didn't know what to do. I tried stretching and changing pillows and nothing was working. I found Lifeworks online and decided to go for the consultation. Dr. Nick explained the process and what he could do to help me physically and although Somerville is a pain to get to and from, the hours of service worked. A year and half later, I feel so much better and look forward to my weekly appointment. In addition to helping me physically, the morning routine is like meeting family for coffee because they make you feel so comfortable. Sometimes even better. I would highly recommend a consultation and the best part is no sales pressure into what program you choice. Both chair massages and the full ones are worth it, and they're great at focusing on a specific area if you need, or just doing a full body. I'm pretty shy about communicating and they're good at prompting me if they notice me reacting.

Just had my first massage from John Jay. He has great hands, strong but gentle. Asks for feedback about amount of pressure and adjusts quickly. Listens well. Did a great job loosening up a badly knotted neck! A really nice person - warm and relaxed.

Cat, the proprietor and masseus, is a godsend. I get theraputic massages with her to alleviate some serious damage that using my hands/arms/wrists for all my work and hobbies causes to them as well as my shoulders, back, etc. Her massages alleviate the pain and restore mobility for me. She is also just super friendly, knowledgable, and professional. She has given me advice on stretches and other self-care techniques that help in between visits. The space is also relaxing, clean, lovely, and conveniently located. The larger space that Sans Stress is in, Davis Square Healing Arts, also has practitioners of other therapies that she can recommend. Cat is also incredibly accepting of and professional with *all* body types, including being queer and trans friendly.
Acupuncture has been very beneficial for me. For the past decade I have severely suffered with numbness and tingling at night because I have carpal tunnel syndrome(both hands). I wear every night wrist braces and weren't helping much lately. The team of practitioners at Space Open Community Acupuncture have helped a lot with my problem. The numbness and tingling has improved a lot and I only had few sessions. I am very gladly my friend recommended Acupuncture as part of the treatment. I think everyone should try Acupuncture Thank you!
I've seen Dawn at Kenkodo for massage work 3 times now. She's absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and attentive to my needs and watchful of my responses while being worked on. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend!
If you were my friend, and your kiddo is experiencing sleep disruptions, anxiety, or has a sensitive nervous system, I would HIGHLY recommend Jasmine Acupuncture. Jasmine's warmth, natural way of connecting with kids and building trust, alongside the ample tools she has to practice acupuncture without needles won my kiddo over. Within 2-3 sessions her sleep issues resolved, and we saw her anxiety start to settle.

Fannie is a superstar! She is calm, understanding, and patient, not to mention funny as heck, and GREAT at her job. I go to her for acupuncture, dry needling (this HURTS but boy will that knot be gone in a flash), and herbs, and I always leave floating on a cloud. She takes the time to listen to everything going on in your life that could be affecting your body, and asks thoughtful questions that inform the session. Consent is the baseline from which she operates. She has helped me with menstrual pain, allergies, anxiety, stiff muscles and joints, and recurring migraines. This is therapy but for your physical and energetic body. Pro tip: if you menstruate, be sure to track it and see how it aligns with the moon phases. You will always know exactly when to anticipate your menses! Also she will ask so be prepared LOL. I am so grateful that I found Fannie and Flying Turtle Healing Arts, and will be working with her for as long as I live within driving distance! Thank you Fannie :)
