“Late Saturday afternoon, March 23, 2024, we discovered our finished and beautifully appointed basement was flooded by what turned out to be a leaking toilet. We immediately called our condo management company, who recommended we contact JBrianDay. We called them immediately and arrange them to engage them. Luckily we were able to stop the leak late Saturday evening.<br>Tim Gauvin of JBD showed up first thing Monday morning and we got things started. Within 72 hours, the whole basement was gutted and remediated and next 5 days the whole place was dried out. Their speed, efficiency, and professionalism was beyond our expectations. Then we shifted to putting it all back. Jeff Sasseville was our project manager. His crew showed up on the 8th day. Jeff assessed the entire situation, room by room and came to conclusion what has to be done in terms of the restoration project.<br>Jeff has been a phenomenal project manager: he assembled the most professional crew, every one of them, we got along so well and were impressed by their workmanship and professionalism. Jeff communicated with us every step of the way, so we knew what was going on and when to expect the next part of the project, etc. We came to rely on Jeff. When he said he will show up and what would be done the next etc. It was done. There were no little things left undone. “While we were away on a "once in a lifetime" family vacation a pipe burst flooding our entire finished basement. It was discovered when a friend came to check on the house for us. So we called Ceritifed Disaster Restoration and mitigation began immediately. Dennis and his crew rectified the leaking pipe, the electrical issues, and tore out all the damaged material. The work was done quickly and with proper care and consideration of our property. We also hired Certified to do the "restoration" portion of the project. I am so glad we did. Rick and Tony are fine carpenters who put in a full day's work each day. Dennis oversaw the work and he was squarely on top of the project. He kept us informed about the process. He is knowledgable of the requirements of infurance coompanies and works well with them, and with us. He guided us with expertise through making choices for building material, cabinetry, paint colors, etc. Another more critical job did take them away from our project for a few days. But Dennis was conscensious about getting back to our job as soon as possible. Our experience with Certified Disaster Restoration was a good one and I recommend them without hesitation.
