“Mr. Liubomyr has been my daughter's favorite violin teacher for several years now. She actually looks forward to her lessons with him which says alot giving the fact that my daughter is 14 years old.Mr. Liubomyr has instilled in my daughter values such as responsibility, respect, work ethics to name a few, that only a doting teacher can and knows how.If your child is ready to work hard and take his/her/their music to a whole new level Mr. Liubomyr is your teacher. I highly recommend“
“The M & O instruments are the MOST realistic of all major companies building Pipeless organs. Concert virtuoso Cameron Carpenter certainly understands the art of the organ virtuoso and his performances on his own 5 manual M & O instrument are stunning to say the least!“
“Staff is super helpful, lessons are incredibly effective and Jessica has been a blessing to consult on any issues.“
“Our piano class experience has been fantastic! The teacher is amazing, bringing such positive energy that my daughters eagerly look forward to their Thursday lessons. It's the third year for my 10-year-old with piano and violin lessons, and the 8-year-old, who is just learning piano. Sophia is always so encouraging, as well as giving great ideas and techniques of ways to improve. I am glad we found a teacher as patient, friendly and knowledgeable as Sophia.“
“I can’t say enough good things about Newton Music Academy! My son has been taking guitar lessons with Adrian for about 6 years and my daughter has been taking piano lessons with Synthia for 2 years (after doing musical ABCs). They both love their instructors and are growing so much musically! The instructors and the Director of the school, Svetlana, are so patient, keep parents well informed, and want their students to do well. Also, having an incredible school that offers multiple instrument lessons so I can do one drop off/pick up is amazing as a parent“
“There is no question that one can learn an instrument, in this case the bass guitar, from Youtube or reading tabs and practicing them over and over. Sure, you can absolutely develop those skills over time and potentially be excellent at that one song you've always wanted to play! But...what's next? How much can you further explore? Can you fully understand why the songwriter chose to change that one part of the song that outshines the rest? Here, at Bass Lessons Unlimited, all questions and more are answered. Having a slight bit of prior music experience myself (being a band kid), if people ask me what is the best way to learn a new instrument, I will always say to look for a tutor. A tutor teaches you much more than just how to play the instrument. They show you technique, theory, and make the learning experience more personalized and fun! My tutor, Jed Lingat, is an exceptional teacher, bass guitar player, and overall, truly, an awesome person. His years of practice, wisdom of music theory, and kindheartedness have refined three excellent qualities that I hope to continue to learn from him: patience, creativity, and courage. Music is easy to learn, but difficult to master. One must have the patience to count from one to four several times in their head, intentionally slow down the hardest parts of songs, playing them even at 50% less of the actual speed, and to accept that the learning process takes time. Creativity and courage go hand in hand; one needs to develop the courage to explore their creative side in the world of music and refine their level of creativity to play courageously in front of family, friends, or live audiences! With these qualities and many more, Jed has taught me so much valuable knowledge in just over a year of tutoring. I know that I still have a lot to learn, as I am still in my adolescence as a bass guitar player, but choosing to pick up the bass guitar was one of the best decisions I've made for my life.“
“Four years ago, I decided to take up the banjo at age 59. I have always loved music but I had never tried to play an instrument and knew nothing about how to read music. I walked into Needham Music one day and Barry, the owner, assured me they could help me get going. He sold me a solid banjo for a beginner and set me up for weekly lessons with Casey Abrams. Casey and I hit it off right away. He quickly got me started with the basics and recommended the perfect instruction book to use as the foundation for my first year. Every lesson was informative, motivating and (most important) fun! Whether we were working on something specific from a book or following a path I had independently chosen to take that week, Casey was encouraging, helpful and very patient with me. He harnessed my primal love of music and always kept me motivated. I took four full school years of weekly lessons with Casey and am still as excited about learning things on the banjo as I was when I started. Recently, I took up the guitar from scratch and remembered how raw I was at the banjo 4 years ago. It helped me really appreciate how much I have learned from Casey. I heartily recommend Needham Music to anyone young and old who is interested in learning a new instrument!“
“I can really trust Ken with my instrument. He is amazing! He also helps me put the strings on my instrument in the way that will give it the best resonance and sound!“
“Walked in today after a quick phone call. Brian was amazing! I am so excited to get home and try the lefreQues. Thank you Brian. ?“
“Thank you for fostering the recitals, I believe watching other children do their best really encourages my own kids to try harder“
“Fantastic school! I went there as a kid and am now going again as an adult for piano lessons. Friendly admin and high level teachers.“
“Irina was my piano teacher for many years and I highly recommend her for children and adults alike. Her passion for music, piano, teaching, and people is immeasurable- she’s the best!“
“We used Little Groove for my son’s 4th birthday party and it was amazing! They were so easy to work with and had great communication throughout the entire planning process. Tommy arrived early, and had 20 kids fully engaged and giggling the entire time. He brought a variety of toys (maracas, puppets, drums, parachute, etc) which the kids loved and also allowed them to participate in a variety of ways. I can’t say enough good things about little groove and I highly recommend them“
“We had the most wonderful experience! We took weekend classes with Anna and she was a joy. Our 2 year old looked forward to music class and loves it so much it’s now a game we play at bath time with toys “going to music class to see Miss Anna and her guitar”. The 8 weeks flew by. The rotation of songs introduced us to ones we don’t hear on our regular Pandora playlist. Our daughter loved the activities - rhythmic dancing with scarves, a parachute, large drums, egg shakers, and a multitude of handheld instruments. Anna keeps the atmosphere calm and engaging, with fun and energy dispersed for the kids, without it feeling chaotic. Very impressed with how she managed curveballs by children (like my daughter yelling out songs to sing that weren’t part of the planned set) and seamlessly weaving them into the activity without it taking over. Children feel heard and appreciated by Anna - she sets the bar very high for music classes to come! We had a sub teacher one week, and she was just as wonderful. Having 2 makeup classes is very generous and flexible for caregivers or parents. We love this class! ❤️“
“Our son has been taking piano lessons in Merry Melody Music Academy for more than 6 years and he has decided to continue the lesson next year. The progress he has made under his teacher's guidance is remarkable. MMMA offers a great piano program suitable for both fun and competitive learning. MMMA has a group of outstanding instructors and Vivian does a great job in finding a perfect match for each child. They also offer various performance opportunities, from charity events to showcases. The end-of-year recital is always an enjoyable family event for us, and even during the pandemic, they created online performances that we enjoyed from home.In addition to piano, MMMA offers other programs such as voice, drum, guitar, and rock band. The founders, Vivian and Chris, both accomplished musicians and experienced educators, have put tremendous effort into providing this unique music education experience. We highly recommend Merry Melody Music Academy to anyone interested in taking music lessons.“
“Lauren is a superb teacher in addition to being a fine artist in her own right. I have great respect for her knowledge, methods, and motivations as an instructor. I would recommend her strongly and without reservation to anyone in the Boston area that is looking to expand their skills and horizons as a musician.“
“RSC faculty member Dan Loschen has inspired our child to love music theory. It continues to help with violin and voice. He really looks forward to class- whether in-person or virtual. And we also appreciate Mr. Loschen’s fun attitude and sense of humor!“
“I take lessons with Sienna at Cambridge Piano Lessons, and I have had a phenomenal experience as an adult trying to get back into learning piano and taking lessons. Sienna is an absolute genius. She has a brilliant way of explaining music and how to play the notes on the page. She challenges me and provides feedback that helps me to learn more about the foundation of the music. She also provides explanations in music theory (without going too much in the weeds!) which allows me to understand the basis/foundations of the music that I am playing. I feel like I have definitely improved and am getting the attention that I need to advance my skills.“
“My son enjoys coming to piano lesson every week. Paul is the best piano teacher we ever had. He made the class interesting and he is so patient with my 8 year old son. Very happy with our choice ! Highly recommended!“
“We worked with Phil to buy a Viola. It is rare to have an opportunity to have access to an expert with such professionalism and compassion. Phil guided us through this journey to ownership and made us very happy! Great experience!“
“This school gives me a lot of fun. Rob and Stephanie are nice to me. Rob is also very professional in guitar and good at teaching new students for guitars.“
