“I have been receiving treatment for a reoccurrence of Ovarian Cancer for the past 9 months after nearly 4 years cancer free. Two types of chemo were tried and failed this time...but this group of doctors never give up...they just go on to the next attempt to cure it! That is where I am now! My treatment is finally working! Elizabeth Gaitley has been there, with Dr. Jack Basil, through the whole experience. Sometimes she does the physical exam. I have asked her question after question, contacted her on My Chart numerous times... she has seen me at low times and at high times. She is always professional and always knowledgeable, but blends it with a personal care that you rarely see in any physician’s office. She calls me with test results faithfully, I think as soon as she gets them. She knows that I, personally, can deal with the results better than I can deal with the unknown. She is concerned about every problem I either have or think I have. She actually listens! Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her during this roller coaster ride of emotions! I am just grateful that she is always there, and always caring!“

“Kelsey the Medical Assistant and Secretary for Dr. Nichols is absolutely fabulous. I have had 7 spine fusions and just had a spinal stimulator surgery on 12/19/23. Kelsey has been wonderful with follow-up and answering any questions every time I've had to call. She is extremely friendly and cares about the patients needs. I have had 4 of the procedures at Mayfield and wish I would have stayed with them. A great surgeon is fabulous to have and Dr. Nichols is just that but, if the do not have an outstanding Medical Assistant your follow-up and care seem less important or bothersome for them and causing depression, anxiety and agitation for the patient. Well, Kelsey is exactly the opposite. I still remember when Dr. Mullins at Mayfield did my surgery in 2004, his Medical Assistant was Linda and she left such an impression I have never forgot her. Kelsey will be the same. Excellent job, Dr. Nichols in hiring such a great employee and asset to your team and the Mayfield Brain and Spine facility. Kelsey, you just keep being you!“

“I would say this place is good. I really like the lady at the front desk. She's very nice and caring. She's always there willing to help and understands. My midwife Rebecca is very sweet. I like how she's always positive when I have my visits with her she kinda lifts my spirit a little when im feelin ill. I just wish I was able to give natural birth to my son cuz c sections really terrify me. I also wish I could have my son a lil sooner even tho hes due in a couple days these last couple days are going to be torture honestly ? I've been so miserable all I do is cry in pain ? “Place was clean and the staff was friendly. This clinic has an dental, primary care and OBGYN office. Also an on-site pharmacy. I had a dental appointment. They do not do root canals or emergency dental work. They have one dental hygienist and another doctor that comes twice a week to do all of the other tooth repairs. So scheduling is so far out.“
